I wish that I could post a review which could evoke the same level of disappointment and frustration that I felt because of Tower in whomever reads this. I wish that with this post, whomever reads this, will save themself a trip down to Towers facility, and in turn, avoid a very disorganized and incompetent dose of ignorance and lies. Right when you walk through the door youre introduced to a very flustered and over matched staff. No one greets you or tries to help you. There are a plethora of miserable looking drivers or potential drivers in their front waiting area. Some are sitting down and some are standing in front or around the front desk. So, it is unclear whether there is a line you must wait on or not. The Secretary sees you walk in the door and instead of greeting you and providing guidance, she puts her head down, and seemingly pretends to be busy working on her computer. No one tells you to check in, or sign in, or really anything else. Ill spare the step by step details that comprise my experience. When I finally got "help" from someone, they supposedly confused my insurance information with someone elses which caused an additional delay of over an hour in my already 2.5 hour experience, promised me a car that day and never delivered. I was told they would contact me the following day regarding this issue but they never did. I had to call them, and when I did, they were unfamiliar with the details and facts surrounding my circumstance. As a matter of fact, they strung me along for more than 2 weeks due to their incompetence and lack of knowledge. They are very irresponsible in how they manage their clientele and seem to be completely oblivious on how to correspond with clients and potential clients the same. You get the idea that these people are lying to you or deceiving you somehow whenever you talk to one of them. If you ask 4 different people who work in Tower a question, you will most likely receive 4 completely different answers. If you read other reviews from other people and maybe from different outlets, you will see a response from the supposed owner, Nick M (thats a lie). He has dealt with many negative reviews, and in many of his responses, has expressed his apologies and asks for the customer to come back in, so he can change their mind. Before I left, I asked to speak to that fictitious character. I told the staff that he is always asking to change someones mind after they post a negative review. I told them that I would like to speak to him because he seems to actually care about the perception of his company. Not only was I told that he wasnt the owner (which I already knew). I was told that the real owner, Ralph would not speak to me at all. Please do yourself a favor, stay away from this place. 1 star is the lowest rating Im allowed to give them along with posting a comment or they would receive Moon from me..... and this place could kiss mine!

Disorganized. Unprofessional. Disrespectful. If you can steer clear of this place, I would do it. If you are forced to work with these people, just go into it knowing its going to be a pain in the butt. They dont answer their phones. They dont respond to emails. They dont care about their paying customers. As an Uber driver who rents/leases a car from them, once you sign away for that weekly deduction, Tower basically washes their hands of you. They have got their money, why should they provide you with any customer service. Have a question? Need some assistance? You will prob have to drive to their office in LIC or BX and sit and wait 5-8 hours for someone to help you. Insurance renewal came up and I had to call about 50 times and email to beg them to send me the papers so Uber doesnt deactivate my account. Unprofessional. Disorganized. Rude. I once went to get service on the car, and the guy David at Bronx service office yelled at me and smacked my arm while waving his arms around like a maniac simply because I wanted answers on whether or not my car would be fixed that day as HE promised, as I sat there for 7 hours waiting. I didnt call police because I simply wanted to go home. They were inconveniencing me and lying to me and I needed to get back to work. The life of an independent contractor. No paid days off. These people are trashy, classless and crazy. RUN if you can! It will be a celebratory day when my contract with them is over!

Please do not even bother getting a car from Tower or you will regret it. I rented a car and this car was in poor condition when it was given to me. There were so many dents, and cracks on this car, and the A/C did not work. The tire pressure light stayed on I took the car to their automatic, and the tire pressure light never went off. The automatic could not and did not fix the light or tire issues. I took the car back to the Long Island City office, and I spoke with David Castro he refused to put me in a safe car he told me that the only way I could get another car was through financing with them. Of course, I told him I did not want to finance a car because right now I have a rental car that is not in good condition. I spoke with Jeremiah from the Bronx Tower office, and he had no solution for my being given a car that had existing mechanical issues. I requested to speak to the owner whose name is Ariel Tower he has never call, text or email me about my concerns with my rental car. I made numerous requests to speak with the owner, however, I was ignore because Tower is Not concerned about Uber Partners they will give you any type of car without having the car properly service before renting the cars out. Tower does not care whether Uber partners lose their time and money. Please, please avoid using Tower. If you are an Uber partner try using the other partners or buy your own car. Please Avoid Tower.

DONT SIGN THE CONTRACT BEFORE TAKING IT TO YOUR LAWYER (..if you have one) ..or call 311 for legal assistance. Because there is no clause in that contract that gives you the right to dispute. It gives TOWER the right to charge from your UBER account (without your knowledge ) any amount they deem is what you owe them. The unfortunate and most frustrating part is that UBER in this case honors their invoice and will not cross check with you to confirm. Hence, their contract with you that you sign initially is very critical!!! DONT SIGN IT IN HASTE!... TAKE IT TO UNEARTH THE TRAPS THEY HAVE SET FOR YOU. SEEK A LEGAL FEEDBACK. WORST experience. I strongly suggest not to rent from the Long Island based Tower rentals for UBER. Do not expect any courtesy and professionalism when you detect any discrepancies in your account. First off you wont even get hold of anyone on the phone. So, email then and make sure you keep all your correspondence in written. At best, DONT RENT...GET YOUR OWN CAR. DONT EVEN THINK OF GETTING A LEASE TO OWN. I WOULD BE HAPPY TO STAGE A PROTEST IN FRONT OF THEIR BASE ...LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ENOUGH NUMBER. We have to get together and put them in place.
