I drove cross country from CO to visit family and friends and knew I would need some service done. While in Stowe I had an issue with my battery and my brakes were making a noise. I brought my Tundra to McMahon and Chris was on it first thing in the morning took all my info and requests for service. he called me a few hours later and I was expecting to hear that I needed new calipers or something and quite the opposite. He said the brake noise was coming from a bent spring that need to be replaced and that my pads had more than 75% left and no need to replace! I have had some bad experiences with my local (Big O in Vail, CO) where they tell you that you need something and they either dont complete it or you didnt really need it in the first place. Good to know there are great service centers here in my home state of VT!

Terrible. They completely blew a diagnosis of a a bad starter, claimed the engine was seized. I had my car towed in, as it would not start. They checked it out and told me the engine was seized. Since the vehicle had 72,000 miles on it this was a big surprise. They made a search for an engine, it was going to be quite expensive. Meanwhile they asked me to remove the car, no room on their lot. So I had it towed to another mechanic and for the hell of it asked him to check it out. It had a bad starter. The engine was fine. McMahon has failed to make any amends for this. keep saying they will call me back, but dont. Fail. Do not trust them.

Great experience! Initially I wasnt planning on purchasing a new vehicle until June or July, but I started looking around in March and April. I test drove the Malibu and fell in love. John and Kyle went above and beyond to satisfy me as a customer. They established a great deal for me and I couldnt be happier. McMahon Chevrolet was amazing! We were on a family road trip when we discovered that the work of 2 other GM dealerships had not correctly repaired our car, which needed immediate attention. Steve, Tony, Tyler and Keith all went above and beyond to get our car repaired while we continued our vacation in Stowe. They even supplied us with a dealer loaner car to use so our trip wasnt interrupted. Its so refreshing to have people take extra time to help. We are extremely grateful!

(What a great car - I was surprised and impressed) They brought in the part my Silverado needed very quickly and immediately installed it so I was able to get back to business with minimum delay.
