The "After The Sale" Service just keeps on coming from these folks! My car started running very roughly, so I put my code reader on it. It dianosed a cyclinder mis-fire. I took it in to West Haven Auto Sales and explained that I needed to have my car back in running order as inexpensively as possible. I suggested that I believed it was simply a "bad plug" and I asked him (Joe) to try just replacing the one plug for right now. He did it, he didnt try to sell me complete tune up (although he did, as he should have, mention that he thought that I should at least replace all the plugs). I told him that I just didnt have the money to do anything extra, so he replaced the one plug and my car is running like NEW again! FOR $30.00! MY LOYALTY is devoted exclusively to the Staff and Management of West Haven Auto Sales. If you have the need, just stop in and talk to them. You may be surprised what they can do to help you. 12.2017 This family owned business employs "Old School" ethics combined with the latest in modern technology. Bob, the owner, is an auto repair specialist who can often diagnose potential issues by opening the hood and listening, but he then verifies his suspicion in the multi-bay service garage, using the most reliable computer and electronic equipment available. Vanessa, the Office Manager / Financing Specialist is a wonder. Using her knowledge and contacts "in the business" she can help just about anyone get a nice looking, reliable, used car or truck. She is a remarkable woman with a sensitive, compassionate nature that is seldom found today. To me, one of the most unpleasant aspects of purchasing a vehicle is dealing with the "Demons" at DMV. Vanessa even does this for us! Shes truly a "Gem", whose outer beauty radiates from within. The final (full-time) member of the family team is Joe. He is a fine young man, who works at the Dealership as a Salesman / Auto Technician. There are a precious few people who are his equal. He is a charming, very handsome man who is a blessing to everyone he meets. His office skills are on a par with his Moms and he is as adept at diagnosing and repairing automobile problems as is his Dad. This is our second purchase from West Haven Auto Sales, and we will always check with them first when we want a new vehicle. If you dont see exactly what you are looking for on the lot, just take a moment to stop in and speak with them. They can find it for you at a great price! They were very nice but do not trust them. Bought a used car as is, the day I picked it up the struts were squeaking asked Joe to check it out he told me they were fine and didnt need to be replaced also asked him to check the timing belt and was told it did not need to be fixed. He sprayed the struts so the would not make noise. Two weeks later they were making noise again, he refused to fix them. Brought the car to a real mechanic and had to replace both struts and mounts, had no oil in the car and the timing belt is about to break it is so old. DO NOT EVER BUY A CAR FROM THEM THEY ARE DISHONEST. Thank God I had a trusted mechanic look at it otherwise I would have had to buy another car. What a jerk to lie to me just to make a sale

I have nothing good to say about my experience purchasing a vehicle here. I was told the A/C worked in February when I bought it but I just paid $716.74 for a new compressor to be installed . A/C works great now! I was told the scratches would come out but the detail shop I took it to says they will never come out. This guy will say anything to make a sale. Beware. Now he reads my review and is saying I shouldnt have paid more than $179 for a compressor and then what? Put it in myself? What about labor? Freon? You are a joke Joe. Youre making yourself look bad .

It was so nice dealing with what I believe to be an honest, respectable used car dealership. It was the best experience buying a used car Ive had. Joe priced the truck that I wanted at a fair price. I was honest with him and he treated me like a long time client - which I wasnt then but I will be in the future. Dont buy anything until you check with Joe and his father first! Theyll treat you the way you treat them - try it, youll like it.

This place is great and the family/owners are very friendly nice people. I bought a Toyota 4Runner there and the same day the check engine light came on.
