Ive been looking into a more reliable second car for a few months now and initially looked into empire auto because credit didnt play a factor. Earlier in the year when I would call they refused information over the phone stating to simply come in and take a look at their hundreds of cars. I finally visited their dealership this weekend and to my surprise I was EXTREMELY dissatisfied! I came in and expressed my concerns and the urgency of getting a new vehicle and when I voiced the SUV I was interested in they stated their "larger lot was closed" and cant look at it; with the excuse that they close it early on Saturdays, DMVs closed, the woman that does their paperwork isnt there. Essentially leaving these three gentleman with a day to waste time is what it seemed. They were nice but their energy was off. When I expressed interested in the SUV one of the gentleman recommended a mini van. I looked at him with disgust because that response made absolutely no sense especially following my statement of not having any children. I took a few minutes outside to collect my thoughts then calling over the owner of the dealership to go over the steps to getting a vehicle, he simply stated fill out an application. As I sat and filled it out he took care of other matters leaving the third gentleman to enter my information then asking me if the owner was going to call me on Monday? But how would I know that when the owner since disappeared. The gentleman went to find the owner and said Im all set... I asked whats the next steps and the owner gave the excuse of we need to pull out the different SUVs, they just got them in, they need to ensure theyre good for me before I come back in and not waste time. Also note the SUV Ive been looking at has been listed for months. Instead of putting up a fight to his bullshit I followed up my question with do you need anything else from me. He said no, I asked not even pay stubs, he says no well call Monday. I asked what time because I work all day he asked me what time was best and all agreed before noon. Its now Tuesday and received no phone call. I understand that there could be a million tasks at hand but I truly believe that these gentleman assume that because the reputation of their clientele is less than savory they can act so nonchalantly. In this short time Ive worked with a better way whole sale auto in Naugatuck and have made better progress and more importantly received impeccable service despite my unique needs.

I was one of their first customers... got a 2002 subaru outback that started to break down just a few months after i got it. dealers refused to help me out with it and the thing is now undriveable. I regret letting them talk me into a 48 month loan with them that more then doubled the price by the end of the payments... if i payed up front in full, it would have only costed $3500, which i didnt have at the time, so i took the loan out that they charged me $8558 in total after the 48 months.... they never honored our contract for them to fix my car if it broke down cause yes i payed extra for it since it was an older car and used. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!

Before checking out any other dealer, I recommend going to Empire Auto Group first. My first time visiting them I found a car and quickly and easily put a down payment on a nice car with very low mileage and in very good shape. I didnt have to go to their second lot because their first lot has many selections to choose from. If youre looking for a nice car up to date, go to Empire Auto Group you wont be disappointed. Very nice people with great customer service skills. Youll be happy with the car you find.

I came to empire a little reluctant due to reviews. But I must say, they are the REAL deal. They are upfront with their deals. Anyone is literally approved!!! They will definitely get you in a car before you leave. Im extremely satisfied with my vehicle. They took the time to look at the car with me and if i had any discrepancies, it was taken care of. I will refer my friends and family to this place. Regardless of the reviews, take the time and go there. Everyones experience is different.

Not organized, couldnt tell which cars were for sale, and which were junk, being that some were torn apart!!! Seems like they tow cars and fix them. No one ever came out to talk to us, the mechanic seemed pretty cool and gave us light conversation. I dont know how good the cars are being that we left pretty quickly. I went cause I heard the commercial on 93.7..

First off I would like to say that this dealership is ideal for anyone with credit issues. I literally spent weeks shopping at other dealers to later learn it was all a fake to get you in the door. At empire I literally was approved in a few minutes after picking out my car. I drove home the next day. Seriously that simple. It should be everyones first choice.

Ive been searching for a vehicle for quite some time now but have been denied everywhere I go because of my credit. Empire was able to work with me and finance a vehicle that works with my budget. What a wonderful place with a great selection of vehicles. I was really approved in 2 minutes and drove home the next day. Beat of all the salesman exained to me how the vehicle purchased cam with a transferable factory warranty. I was not afan of Chryslers until this one. Thanks guys!!!,

They are the TRUE defintion of a Sleezy sales man! All Smiles in your face but behind closed Doors they will SCAM YOU! I Bought a car from them and had to call the Cops cause they didnt want to give me my Down Payment Back or the Car they Promised me! I Do NOT recommend them!!

Very friendly. I must say its very hard trying to find the right car dealer. They seem fair and honest. We did not get a car,but not because they were not good. When we are ready we will definitely head back here to look for a car. Good place!

Sold my husband I a car with MANY issues and is unsafe. They said their mechanic looked it over, worst customer service. Every car we liked was "sold" or being shipped to Africa. SCAM!!!!!! Reporting to BBB and local news stations
