Im pretty disappointed, I have to say. I have been looking for a specific car for a little while now, and wouldnt you know it - it popped up here and L & S, right in town! I went right out to test drive the vehicle. The salesman, John, came out to greet me and wasnt particularly knowledgeable about the vehicle - but thats understandable. They had only just got it in, and there are a lot of cars in the world. I was surprised that they had it up to test drive because, he admitted, it hadnt even gone through their shop to be inspected yet. That said, the demeanor of his approach seemed aloof. After our test drive, he seemed surprised that I wanted to sit in his office to talk about the car. I had to initiate conversation myself, and was met with a wall when trying to negotiate. Ive never seen a dealer refuse to move on a price, never seen a dealer not try to counter-offer, and to cap it all off said he would have to talk to his boss and give me a call by the end of the day. As I understand it now, they try to have a very low-pressure sales pitch which is a nice change-up when you are window shopping, but unfortunately did not work well in this scenario with my having a very specific vehicle in mind. I should add that John was not at all rude to me. Unfortunately, I didnt get a call back. That said, I checked out KBB later and, admittedly, assuming the vehicle was in sound mechanical order it was well-priced - so I was ready to just pay the sticker and move on. On calling the next morning to tell them Id like to put a deposit down, I was told I was too late. Im just disappointed. *** EDIT / Follow*** The shop manager, Greg, did reach out to me via phone following my review. While my past experience hasnt changed, I did adjust my review rating to reflect the effort they put in to following up. After a short conversation to try to find out what went wrong for me, we hung up on good terms. Greg and L & S have my vehicle preferences, and knowing that Im looking for a very specific vehicle, are going to make an effort to find a match.

I would give 0 star if i had the chance to this dealer sale awful bad cars, as i read a review from three years ago they do not inspect cars, they do not care of kids and and their customers safety. Beware and do not make that mistake i did. I didnt buy my brought my vehicle in this dealership, i was actually recommended to fix my vehicles warranty in this place from the dealer i brought it, which is called rt 322 Motorsports, come to find out its right down the street and are related, so these two dealers are ripping people off with expensive cars, and no inspection as they promise, after you buy it they say they didnt have to offer you any warranty but they did, now they will pay half of the parts that only seam broken but any other noise warranty dont cover, as not broken yet, they are a complete scam. they even change my battery letting me know but really the reason why they changed it was because the engine light would come back on, so they tricked me now the engine light is on still in the month of warranty and they say its the sensor, which i have to pay for.. Please people believe on these bad reviews, so you wont be regretting and have a bad taste in your mouth like i have read on here after i brought my vehicle.

If I could give 0 stars to this place I would. I purchased a 2003 passat wagon from L & S only to find out that the "safety inspection" that they said is done to every car was not done to mine. Minutes after leaving the dealership I heard a strange noise coming from my back tires, the same one I heard on the test drive that they said they would take care of! I brought it back, they "fixed it" and then again on the way home the same noise started. Come to find out, it was the rear axle, and it was so loose it was able to be UNSCREWED WITH YOUR BARE HANDS. My three year old son rides in this car so who knows how much longer it would have taken for the thing to just fall off on the highway and kill the both of us. They were VERY unapologetic and rude, and wanted to charge me for it! That was three months ago and since then the car has been in the shop 4 times, and is currently there now. They didnt hold up their end of the sale and left me with an unsafe vehicle and a bad taste in my mouth. Do NOT purchase a car from these people or even let them look at yours!

I have purchased many used cars in my lifetime, but I could never recall who I purchased them from. As far as I am concerned none of those dealerships matter because L&S Automotive is the only place I will go to for any other car purchase or service. First off, the lot is filled with a variety of cars that would suite anyones needs. The sales team headed up by Greg, are welcoming and not over berring like most car dealers. They tell you what you are paying for with no tricks to pinch a extra buck. The owner Chris is a great guy, he kept me informed on the status of the purchase to keep my mind at ease. Buying a car in the past was stressful but buying at L&S was a laid back and fun experiance. I walked into L&S automotive one day careless and the next day I was cruising in my new Jeep Wrangler. Excellent service all around. I strongly recomend this dealership to first time and veteran car buyers. Cheers to Chris and the boys at L&S Automotive!

Went in to look at a car they had on their website. Terrible customer service. The guy I took test drive with told me to not waste his time unless I was seriously interested in buying the car and that I better have good credit score since I was only 19 years old. They should treat every customer equally no matter their age as I seriously needed a car and wouldve bought the car if I was treated better. The other person who helped me told me that something could possibly be fixed and later got mad at me for telling the guy I test drove the car with and told me I was wrong. As we were discussing an offer, the owner interrupted and was very rude and said that he will only take full price when according to KBB, he had the car 800 over its value and I was offering a fair price. Will not return due to the lack customer service skills and how I was treated just because I was a teenager. Very disappointed.

Bought an Audi here a while back. The ad said the car was in mint condition so I made a drive down to the place. I liked what I saw in the pictures so I drove down. Got there and realized the car definitely wasnt in mint condition, the arm rest was worn down and cracked, the exhaust tip look like they were welded on by a middle schooler and best of all he claimed the car was "his brothers". Before he got there the mechanics told me the car was his sons. Didnt buy the story but I bought the car. He told me I had a month warranty with it but later asked if I was gonna bring the car all the way back to CT if it was broken in a perplexed way.Asked if the timing belt and water pump had been done and he told me they had. A few months down the road the waterpump was leaking and the belt almost fell off. Sweet. I wouldnt buy a sack of potatoes from this place, let alone another car.
