I ordered some beef ribs from this business , I picked them up on a Friday for a Sunday BBQ ,it was a larger order with 7 racks of beef ribs and two whole chickens . Come Sunday morning early I went out and got the smoker loaded with charcoal and burning , I knew it would be an hour or so before I could put the ribs on so I went back inside to do the prep work. Normally I would have put the ribs into a vat of whiskey and spices for a couple days but was so busy I didnt have time to make the marinade so I opened the ribs for the first time that Sunday morning , imagine my surprise when I saw that they had cut every scrap of meat out between the ribs , basically I had six racks of bones and one rack that hadnt yet been robbed of its meat ,I had one hour to go drive around and find meat suitable for for our guests , what I got at Franks was garbage .The chickens were ok but very small . I ended up going to Safeway and their meat department made a special effort to get me what I needed and the day was saved . You may wonder why I didnt bring this up with Franks? Well they arent open on Sunday and while I did drop some serious coin on those ribs the fact is I care a lot more about quality then money, to bother to take my time to wait and go there when they were open just doesnt make sense to me if I dont care about the money , what I care about was that Sunday morning when I figured out that I would never buy from them again because they left me flat and if it werent for Safeway I would have had to call off our BBQ . I will never buy from them again and I will make an effort to tell all my friends about their rip off ribs and sneak thief behaviors

Interesting place- they have a good products but, we go in there all the time and they act like they have never seen us before. I always feel bad if someone comes in 30 minutes or less to closing they will not make their customer (maybe now x-customer) a sandwich. There are 10 guys standing around and you cant put everything away in time to get out the door at 6:01 pm? Maybe one guy is half friendly and the owner, poor guy looks soooooooooo unhappy. :O(

We dont buy meat from anywhere else anymore. The service is beyond 5 stars. They always offer to carry my meat out to the car for me and when my arms are full of kids that is so helpful. We get the freezer bundles and it ends up being so much cheaper than buying meat at the store and its much better quality. Whenever I meet someone new to Longmont I make sure they know about Butcher Franks. I think its one of the best parts of Longmont.

For about the same price as a Subway sandwich, YBF will make you a delicious sandwich that doesnt skimp on meat! You have to get the 8-inch; its only 50 cents more than the 6-inch. These sandwiches are stuffed with so much good stuff that when they hand it to you, it feels like theres a brick in the bag. I love this place.

Love this place for sandwiches. You want a REAL sandwich? You come here. You get your moneys worth. They pile the meat real high, and dont skimp. This is the way a sandwich should be made! Get the 4" with soup combo, anything bigger and you wont be able to finish it! Very very good.

Disappointing! I could not get fresh ground turkey, and what they had was "pink slime" or mechanically separated bits from frozen. NO organic chicken - disappointing. Overpriced pork loin, that I would have to wait for. Conclusion... I did not buy anything, and wouldnt return.

They have great Ham Salad, my mother in law brought it to my sons wedding shower and my whole family (even the very picky eaters :)) loved it and when she ordered it she was in and out quick and easy in less than 5min! We just wish they were open on Sundays and Mondays :(

I want to meat the person that orders and eats the 8" sandwich. The lunch sandwiches are huge and at a great price. The turkey is perfect and moist and the pastrami is peppery. Perfect for a quick lunch and a snack later since the sandwiches are so big.

BEST sandwiches in town! This place blows every "sub shop" out of the water for lunch and even dinner! Tons of meat and really fresh veggies for under $9. Stop wasting money at Jimmy Johns, Quiznos, SubWorks, Snarfs, Etc... I highly recommend YBF!

I love the freezer bundles. The meat is so fresh and tasty. Plus much less expensive than a grocery store. The gentlemen behind the counter have even carried my purchase to my car for me without being asked! That is truly fine service.

Ive always gotten my meat at the supermarket, but I will no more. The quality of meat at Your Butcher Frank is great and is cheaper than supermarket prices. I cant believe it took me so long to come here!

I just LOVE this place! Their deli sandwiches are great, all the boys are so sweet and polite, and they help me out to my car... they sell Longmont Dairy Milk, which is really useful.
