Ive been a loyal customer and advocate of Orbit Health Food Store for years and among other things routinely purchase 10 gallons of reverse osmosis water at a time. Im sad to say that today I had a very poor experience. I used literally a couple ounces of water to shake out my jugs and a lady by the name of Navea was incredibly rude and condescending commanding that I use tap water or wash my jugs out at home. I explained that if I have only tap water which I make a point not to consume and dont even wash my fruits and vegetables with tap water. I continued that I will pay for the couple ounces of water used to clean the jugs and leave it at that. Instead of accepting that and just charging me the extra pennies. She persisted, telling me the owner Andy would agree with her and turned it into an outright argument. After the checkout, she sarcastically said "have a nice day" and held the door open for me to leave (kicking me out of the store!). Navea then stood in the doorway with the door open keeping an eye on me all the way to my car to load my things and out of the parking lot like Im a criminal!!! Im upset that a routine water trip went this way over pennies of clean water to shake out my jugs before spending close to $30 today and hundreds of dollars over the years. Navea, Im sorry youre having a bad day but you really shouldnt take it out on Orbits loyal customers or they wont have any left. I certainly will not be back.

Orbit offers a great selection of high quality supplements, health foods, yummy snacks, special waters, and essential oils. This alone would make me a repeat customer, but, alas, I can only come when I visit my family. However, the mystery that is contained in the back rooms that can only be accessed via membership piques my curiosity. A brochure of services with the promise of more if membership is pursued would make me slap down that $$ just to find out... I mean, I buy $5 gum sometimes so a paltry membership fee would be so worth it! Also, the staff seems to know nothing of the oils they sell so come pre-armed with knowledge, but at least they are honest about their deficiencies.

Have been shopping with Orbit for many years now. Just love the new store at 161 N. Mount Juliet Road...so bright and spacious. Love the oxygenated reverse osmosis water for drinking and cooking...we go through 11 gallons a week!
