I love the meat (5 Stars). But over the last couple of years it seems like every time I ask a question they rush me to a freezer and say "its in here". The website has a huge variety of meets, but if it is out of the ordinary it is either frozen or not there (once a prime rib roast, once oxtails). They used to spend their time making sure you got the right cut. Last few times I have been in they dont seem to care about anything but getting me out the door. But the meats and their home made stuff is great. I have always told my friend that this is just like an old fashioned butcher shop. I dont feel that way any more. I hope they read this and improve.

An amazing butcher shop. Their massive 30oz cowboy cut ribeye made an excellent birthday present for my father. And did an Edwards gift card I gave to my boss (the owner of a fancy-pants restaurant) as a holiday present - which he was grateful to receive. Their ground beef has made juicy game day burgers; their ground pork shoulder, kick ass dumpling crimping parties (its a thing!). And on top of that their selection of veal bones and smoked ham hock has taken my stock game to the next level. You dont have to be a professional cook to love Edwards, but professional cooks sure do!

I went in for a leg of lamb and the guy that helped me was VERY helpful. He said the leg behind the glass didnt look that great to him, so he went and cut a new piece for me. While I was waiting for the new cut, just about everyone behind the counter asked me if I needed some help. Every time Ive been in there, everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful. Ive moved from Wheat Ridge over to the I-25 and Evans area and I still make the trip out to Edwards to get my specialty cuts of meat.

Ive been to about 4 different "butcher shops" in the area, and none of them really had anything resembling a selection. I stopped in here hoping to find buffalo/bison roast [I did, but no way could I afford] and found a TON of different types of meat in various cuts. Im going to need to start eating meat that isnt beef or chicken or pork and will have to fill up my freezer from these guys. Great prices, and so far everything weve had has been amazing!

A bit pricey but the quality is always excellent. My only complaint is that the ladies at the register need to work on their customers service. They can be short when you ask a question, they dont leave their spots to assist you to find products in the store (even when no customers are in line) and on more than one occasion, Ive heard them gossip about customers that just left the business. Unprofessional.

Amazing selection of fresh, smoked and frozen meats and seafood. Love their effort to also source local products. Cowboy steaks, sea bass, huge full slabs of pork belly...Edwards Meats always treats us right. Great small, market selection of basic grains and veggies to round out supper. Extensive spices and seasonings available. Nice selection of different types and sizes of wood chips for smoking too.

I have purchased many products from this family owned and operated meat market and have had nothing but a pleasant experience. Great selection of meats and cuts. I was very surprised by the good selection of produce and other grocery as well. I was greeted and thanked by many employees and asked to return. I will indeed be giving Edwards Meats more business.

Its a pretty awesome little meat store. They have a lot of everything. The only reason they arent getting 5 stars is because the boudin they sell isnt really boudin. Its just another sausage. Ive yet to find real boudin in this area... Update: I went back and tried the Louisiana Boudin from the freezer section. It actually was pretty good! Im giving 5 stars!

I have been going here for about 6 years. This place is absolutely wonderful. Its family owned which I love! The staff is fantastic. The meat is absolutely incredible here and they have such a large variety of options. Brats, burgers, ribs, steaks, chicken... You definitely get what you pay for here. I will never go to another butcher shop.

Outstanding selection. I started shopping here for my Norwegian familys traditional Christmas meats-pulsa and pork roast. I keep coming back, despite the long drive, because they have many other good things. The Italian meatballs are fabulous. I have tried to duplicate them at home, but mine are never as good as theirs.

This is definitely one of the best meat shops around. They are very reasonably priced for the quality with a great selection that youll be hard pressed to find anywhere else. They also have plenty of other grocery items to round out your meal with a great selection of locally sourced products.

Christmas Eve awesomeness! Im normally a Wallys and Tonys customer, and I was on the other side of town with very little time. Went in and the place was packed solid, and I was still in and out in under 10 minutes with very high quality steaks at a great price! Will definitely go back.

LOVE THIS PLACE! This kinda of market makes me wanna move here! They have everything you can imagine! If you like to try new things, this is the place for you! I cant wait to get home and cook up all my goodies. Great jerky for hiking too!

Absolutely love everything we get here. Great cuts of meat and amazing deals all year around. We usually get the ribs on a monthly basis & steaks for the 4th of July bbqs! You absolutely get what you pay for.

Best butcher in the Denver area. I live a few blocks from another butcher but take the time to drive out to this one. Great meats, friendly staff, and it may be pricey but for the most part its worth it.

Great butcher shop -- special requests are no problem here. Have them butterfly your holiday turkey and then cook it on the grill -- the dark and white meat will cook perfectly!
