This is a great place if you need snacks or frozen food. They have a small but decent selection of cold and/or frozen dairy, breakfast, fruit, vegetables, junk food and desserts. (Be sure to check the cheeses though - they arent always real.) They have several aisles of snack food as well as a small but good selection of loaf bread, canned vegetables, pasta and sometimes a few baking items like corn starch or syrup. They also have a decent selection of just about any other household stuff you may need - decent plastic brooms, storage containers and books (mostly hardback and trade paperback) can be had for a dollar. Some of the stuff, like certain snacks and frozen food, change out fairly often and are either seasonal or special buys so its best to get what you like when you can. About the only thing I have been disappointed with have been the electronics - the earbuds have been tinny and phone charging cords never last very long. This is definitely a case of you get what you pay for, but they will do in a desperate pinch. Busy times are usually after 3 p.m., because of the workers getting out of the nearby factories.

I am an assistant manager at a store in Indianapolis Indiana who just last year was complaining about Portland not having a Dollar Tree because i wanted to transfer my job cause my Pepaw was ill and i wanted to be there for him. Although i wasnt able to get word out in time..... Im so glad yall still got a store intown now and ya aint gotta drive 45 mins away either. All you Portland Panthers keep this store in mind when u want to chose a career path!!!!! This company love employees who want to grow!!!!

Every product in this store is $1. However, this also means that every product in this store is terribly made. Everything is poor quality. The only thing this store is good for is candy and gift supplies.

I love that there is a dollar tree in Portland now. Its great being able to buy things that would cost so much more anywhere else. They have a great selection and have a good location.
