This raving review is long overdue. I stumbled across Experimac during a snow day. My home fax machine was not working and I had a document to fax. I couldnt make it to the office so I was looking for a neighborhood print shop that I could walk. I was happy to find one - however, my happiness turned to disbelief. They didnt fax. They could scan and email but they couldnt do that until the next day and it would cost $16. No thank you! As I was walking down the street, I saw Experimac. I was curious (ok - maybe nosey). I was pleasantly greeting. The store was clean and inviting. Mr. Blue and Kelvin entertained all of my 10 year old sons questions knowing that we were not going to make a purchase. He even invited me to his office to fax my document for FREE! About 2 months after that encounter, I actually dropped my phone in water. I knew I would be making a purchase from Experimac. Mr. Blue patiently helped me to pick out the right phone for my needs and budget. Literally, as he was writing the invoice, he looked up and asked if I had insurance on my phone. He allowed me to use the computer in his store to order my new replacement phone - knowing he would lose a sale. Talk about putting the customer first! One would think that customer service, cleanliness and knowledge is enough to patronize this business. However, theres more. Leonard and Kelvin believe strongly in community service. There was no hesitation when I asked if he could facilitate a STEM workshop for my sons organization, National Society of Black Engineers, Jr Chapter. The lesson plan was well-thought out, engaging and informative! For all these reasons and more, I would recommend that any one looking to purchase or repair an IPhone or MAC product, stop by Experimac.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE! The level of professionalism from staff is mind blowing. My first encounter was with Leonard; I was skeptical about paying a diagnosis fee. He shared he was ACTUALLY THE OWNER and he was confident his team would take care of the issue. For FIRST pick-up I met Kelvin (GM), I realized one of the 2 issues had not been fixed. Leonard was out of town so I was more afraid Id leave not completely satisfied with service. Kelvin asked to keep my Dell a few more days before paying. Second pick-up, Leonard was back in town from business and Kelvin was also present...my issue was resolved!!! I was so happy that I left a tip. Please give this group of experts a try and you wont regret it.

First of all they saved my life ! Ever since I updated to iOS10 my life became a nightmare! My phone would not turn on and I tried EVERYTHING! I walk past it and decide to stop see if they can help bring my phone back to life and they DID! So fast too! They are really nice and offered me drinks (no alcohol lol i see your minds). Definitely check them out if anything related to your Apple products. No need to go all the way to Short Pump to the Apple Store anymore. And the pricing, I say Amen to that ! :) They just really made my catastrophic day better. Special thanks to Kelvin :)

I was searching for a Mac on craigslist and came across a few from here. When I called, I received the best service. Better than Best Buy which I went to the night before. The representative was very polite, patient with my questions and very knowledgable. I came in and they greeted me immediately and took their time answering and explaining everything I inquired about. I would recommend experimac over and retail store. Great prices and everything comes with a warranty. The store is clean, professional and in a great location. I will definitely be back again. Thanks experimac!

Before coming here, I went to Capitol Mac up the street and was told that my phone would have to be sent away to be repaired and that it would cost $150. I was much pleased to find out that Experimac would not only fix my screen in just 30 minutes, but it would be a much cheaper option than Capitol. Leonard provided hands down the best customer service Ive ever experienced. By far the best place Ive gone to for an Iphone repair in Richmond...I am excited to continue to support Experimac for their fair prices, positive vibes, and wonderful timely service. Thank You!

I had an amazing experience at Experimac! They were very polite and quick with the service. They offered me something to drink and made sure I was comfortable while waiting for my phone to be fixed. Looking at the finished product my phone looks absolutely brand new! Their prices are completely affordable, especially including the student discount I was offered. I recommend Experimac to anyone looking for solutions to fixing any Apple product issues they may be having. I will definitely return for any other services I need in the future!

I had an amazing experience with these guys. Bought a 6 through them a month back with a few problems and they helped rectify the issue every time with utmost ease and priority with no additional cost They are always kind, professional, and accommodating. I have gone in their with tempers flaring and they always manage to calm me down, providing refreshments, Netflix, and polite conversation. I highly recommend their services if you need Mac/Apple repairs or to buy/sell a used product. Best prices and service in Richmond, hands down!

My old iPhone was completely totaled and I needed to get a new one ASAP. After shopping around for two days I found this shop and they had an iPhone 6S. Was completely blown away by how professional and accommodating they were. I came right as they were closing and Leonard still serviced me without an issue. The warranty that they give with their phones makes it a better value than buying from other places or even online. Im definitely coming back here for any phone issues in the future and highly recommend them!

Great store and super friendly staff. Leonard the general manager went above and beyond. I came in asking for a spare Macbook Pro box so I could ship mine out, and he gave me a shipping box specifically for shipping Macbooks out. And for free! I chatted with him about the store which is nice (the old Capitol Mac location) and mentioned I dug those keyboard covers and he just hooked me up. If you are looking for a used Macbook (great prices), repairs, etc, check this place out. I know theyll take care of you!

First I would like to say, Richmond has always needed a business like this. Its very organized and its definitely your one stop shop. I mean, they do it all..buy, sell, trade, repair....and at reasonable prices as well. While I was waiting I watched another customers expression when one of the employees brought out his phone.
