6 months ago my husband and I were looking for a car. We drove everywhere and could not get approved for a traditional loan because despite our good income...our credit was not on par for a regular bank. We looked at buy here/ pay here options but nothing seemed to fit what we were looking for in terms of quality. By chance we drove passed JD Byrider in NPR and we were met by Heather Hall who was eager to help...but not pushy. She was very friendly and seemed to understand our situation. It took a little time...(no longer then a regular car transaction at a large dealership) BUT they actually looked at our finances to put us in a car that we could afford without the risk of buying something just because we had the ability to get a loan. They looked at our income and didnt let us look at anything in the lot that was over our reasonable budget. That was difficult for us because we were always accustomed to living beyond our means. Having Heather there to advocate that what we want and what is reasonable for us may be different and to consider cars that we could easily afford on our salary. I mean she REALLY cared. Finally we settled on a 2007 Kia with low mileage and lots of space for our family. 6 months later and Heather was still right. She had done the right thing for us. We have been able to maintain our loan to the letter. Our credit is on a steady incline and we are well on our way to buying our first home because of it. Thank you Heather for caring enough about our personal situation and not just making a sale. That day you may have sold a car...but you really did help a family. My husband and I have been in the market for a vehicle for quite a while now. We have horrible credit from me being unemployed for so long when we moved four years ago. We are trying to rebuild our credit, and many of the buy here pay here places dont report to the credit bureaus. I found them through an ad on Craigslist, and went to meet with them this past Saturday. Our salesman was Chris Coto, he did a great job working with us and our budget to find a vehicle we could afford, so we wont default on the loan. We are now on the right path to rebuilding our credit to buy a house, have a new vehicle which is in immaculate condition, and we couldnt have done it without the help of Chris and Thomas over at JD Byrider. They were both very friendly and professional through the entire process, and I would highly recommend them if you are in the same boat as we were in. Thanks guys!

I am disappointed in the bad business practices of this company. Their lack of professionalism and caring for their customers credit is saddening. Their standard operating procedures is to not take vehicles in on trade and to have the customer end up with a repossession on their credit. To add insult to injury, they charged the customer for a brand new tag when he had one to transfer. So in the end, this poor customer ends up with a repo stuck to his credit report and paying an extra $300 for a new tag they did not even need. If you are looking for a company that will not care about you, but care about making money off you - I highly recommend JD Byrider and their finance company CNAC. Since JD Byrider owns CNAC - doesnt that make them a glorified Buy-Here-Pay-Here Dealership?

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! AND UNFORTUNATELY OUR SONS FELL FOR THEIR WONDERFUL CHEAP DOWN PAYMENT. READ READ ALL I MEAN EVERY SINGLE PAGE EVEN THE ONE THEY HIDE MIDWAY THAT SHOWS THE ACTUAL PRICE... 2004 CAVALIER WITH 107,000 MILES 19,000$ ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!? HE WAS TOLD 10,000$ UNFORTUNATELY WE WERE OUT OF TOWN AND COULDNT GO WITH BOTH SONS AND FIRST TIME BUYERS OF COURSE THEYRE EXCITED ESPECIALLY WITH SUCH A LOW DOWN PAYMENT.... BUT COME ON BRAND NEW IN 2004 THEY WERE ONLY 10,200$ NOT 19,000$ WELL GUESS WHAT MOM AND DAD ARE BACK IN TOWN AND WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO SEE YOUR CAMERA RECORDING YOU RECORDED THEM FOR NON SUEING PURPOSES!! ANOTHER FN JOKE. YOU LEFT 1 THING OUT GUYS THE ACTUAL PRICE DO NOT GO HERE

I came into J.D. Byrider looking for a good car at an affordable rate. As soon as I came in I was met by Heather Hall. She was very welcome and I new that she would be able to help me out. We sat down and she told me all about this company. We went over all the ins and outs and I was sold from there. then Heather took me back to the manager who happened to sell my best friend a car about a year ago at another J.D. Byrider location. I felt at home and they help me get into a 2007 Cobalt. they both did everything they could to get me into a car that I could afford. it was the best experience I could of asked for and I thank them very much.

These guys helped me greatly!!! Chris was great and I appreciate him going the distance and helping me out! I was getting discouraged going from dealership to dealership! When I got here sat down with Chris he told me dont worry man we got you! And he meant it I left that night with the car thanks to there help! Great place, great people and it amazing what this company is going to do for me and my future! This isnt just a car for me its a chance to fix my credit and better my life for myself and loved ones and I do have to do my part but I would like to thank you guys for doing yours!

They are friendly and helpful staff. They will make you feel like family and get you in a car and keep it running like new. Thank you all. They take the time to tell you everything you need to know about your car getting fixed. Keith is great person and make sure your car if fixed when you leave. Keith guys do a great job on getting your car in and out so you are not without your car to long. If you need a car go see all of them. They will make your dreams come true with what you want in a car or truck or suv. Thanks everyone

If I could give it a negative rating I would. By far the worst dealership I have ever been to. Very unprofessional, they say their intentions are to help you build your credit, but realistically they just want your money. 14k with more average miles, for a car that is valued at 6k on Kelly Bluebook. Their credit building "program" is just smoke in mirrors. A lot of places do what they do. I went down the road and walked out with a 2013 vehicle that I actually like. I wouldnt recommend this company to my worst enemy.

just wanna say i have a car from port richey jd byryder. Chris is an outstanding gentlemen. He goes above and beyond for the client also the rest of the staff is also very friendly always helpful yes my car has a lot of mileage its a used car u get what u pay for but i must say they have the best mechanic keith and his crew is always on top of anything they may even go wrong before it happens and not like the guy who is trying to get u to do service when u dont need it he keeps my car in tip top condition
