Purchased a new Jeep Rubicon from Firkins Jeep and they were amazing! I give them 5 stars. However, I was disappointed with Firkins Nissan Service Department. I scheduled an appointment for my 19yo sons 2016 Nissan Versa and chose one of the "Service Specials" from their website, $59.99 for oil change and tire rotation. He was charged $72.92 with $8.24 of "Misc Charges". It is frustrating that a local dealer cannot advertise honest pricing. It should be embarassing to the Manager of this department that he has lost a 44 year old customer and a 19 year old customer for life over an unethical $8.24 charge. I suspect that the service advisor (who i will not name here) saw a young boy and took advantage of him. At Hendrick Honda, when I service our two Hondas, I request a $59.99 service and I am charged $59.99. When I inquired about the charges to my service advisor, I was told, "Every car place charges garage fees". He is totally wrong, ethical businesses do not charge ticky tack fees to a young 19 year old boy. A good business would see a 19 year old as 10 potential new car sales over his life time (150k) and service plans on those vehicles (50k) and would do anything and everything to build a personal relationship with him and keep him as a customer for life. Only a narrowminded, short-sighted thinking business would lose my son over an $8 profit. Not to ramble on, but I took my wifes Honda Pilot to Hendrick Honda 2 weeks ago. I had to wait over 2 hours for the services I needed done. I didnt complain, I didnt even think it was unreasonable because I was having multiple things done. But when I went to pay, my service advisor there said, "I am sorry it took us so long, I have taken 5% off of your bill for your inconvienence". This is why I have bought 5 cars from them.

I purchased a 2013 Nissan Altima, preowned, it was a firkins short term lease used internally. Great car, Robert was a great sales person. Beware of the used manager "Brian". if you are going to deal with firkins avoid this guy. He is loud, rude, and disrespectful. I dont understand how someone like this has made into a dealership that claims to be the best car buying experiance. A week after i purchased the vehicle, i went to use the wiper blades and that is when i realized they were bad. I made a call to Robert about this situation. He told me, his manager "Brian" was not going to do that for me, I called brian, and he in a rude voice told me he was busy, and asked me to give him contact info. I gave him what he asked for them he said he would call me back later, then slammed the phone down on me. robert called me minutes later with what seemed to be a somewhat irritated voice and said they would take care of it for me. in summary, It took 5 phone calls, 4 days, and me harping on the General Manager about all the issues ive had. For a simple set of wiper blades. Really? Service is slow with contacting customers back. My Altima needed some warrantry work done. The part i needed was on back order and took over a week to get. Meanwhile no one called me, and no one kept me up to date. If they offer you a rental, be prepared to deal with the lady at the rental store. She is rude as well. She not only loudly annouced my age, but other personal information why disputing my right to a vehivle of equal size while my car was in for warranty work. I was told by the GM today that he would speak with these individuals and make sure they tone it down. With these things under control, Firkins has a great product and a nice lot. Get organized and this place could be dangerous.

I dont do too many business reviews, but I was really impressed with how great an experience I had buying a new truck here. I was shopping around for a couple weeks and had been to several different manufacturers dealerships. Mostly the typical car salesman stuff where they badger and haggle you a bit and it makes buying a vehicle a bit of a hassle. A fried had just bought a Nissan Frontier from Firkins and advised me to check them out. Nissan wasnt on my radar but i liked his truck so I went over. My initial contact was Yvonne Soriano and I went and met her (super nice and friendly) and she connected me with the salesperson Diane Rundle. Diane was a dream. Nice, accommodating, and not pushy or salesy at all. She listened to what I was looking for, showed me exactly what I asked for (a base no frills model) and didnt try and goad me into tons of upgrades, etc. I decided to look at a few different styles and found the exact truck in the color I wanted. She came back with a great offer that was only $1600 above a good price on the same 1 year old used truck with 10,000 miles on it that I was interested in at a different dealer. I countered, they accepted and gave me a good trade on my 12 year old truck and I was driving my new truck the same night. Diane stayed late to almost 9 PM guide me through all the options on the truck and set up my iPhone through the radio. They let me come back the next day to get the kayak rack off my old truck and even the used car guy that was processing my old truck was really friendly and helpful. Asked if I needed to borrow any tools to take off the kayak rack. Great. Awesome experience and I love the vehicle. Highly recommended dealership.

My daughter goes to college in Sarasota. She called me on her way back to school as she was headed across the skyway bridge and said that she had an engine light on in her Nissan Altima and the car had a minor shake to it. Being close by I told her to wait for me at the rest area and I would get it to a mechanic. I came and got the car and took it to Firkins. Three hours later they called me after hooking up the computer to it and diagnosed two bad coils under the plenum and offered to fix it for $1800+ dollars. Not wanting to pay $1800 dollars for something I knew I could do in a a couple of hours, I got the car after they charged me $100 for the diagnosis. I took it around the corner to an autoparts store whose computer read one bad coil and it was not under the plenum. So I was able to buy a coil for $39 dollars, unhooked two electrical connections, turned a socket wrench to remove the one bad coil and all coils have run perfectly since(4 months). All told it was fixed in about 10 minutes for $39 plus tax. Firkins charged me $100 for the diagnosis and then misrepresented the diagnosis. I like Nissans but will look around at other dealers around the Bay before ever going to Firkins. PS They had some type of customer satisfaction department call me a couple of days later...I explained the problems I had, the young lady on the phone was appalled. I suggested that maybe a manager or owner from the dealership could call me. Never heard a thing.
