Terrible!!! Prices were outrageous!!! Even the half off items were too much!! I dont know who comes up with these prices but for getting these USED items for free, its almost robbery. Isnt goodwill supposed to not only raise money by be there for those who cant afford much? I couldnt even buy a decent wardrobe for my kids without spending a fortune! I dont want to pay more than I would at walmarts clearance rack. Who wants to buy used clothes and shoes for more than 10 dollars when you can get them brand new. I think this is absurd. I would have bought 3x the amount that I bought if the prices were more reasonable!!! So basically I would have spent way more money and helped out a lot more needy people but I couldnt get passed my disgust when I seen a used dirty coat priced for 10 dollars And used dirty shoes for 13. Ridiculous I will never shop there again. Go to madison Lake county if you want to see some seriously reasonable prices and high quality items, its like day and night!!!

This particular Salvation Army is 5-stars for me because its in a decent area, which means that you get good to great clothes from people who donate. Obviously, if you go to a thrift store in an area with not so great demographics, the clothes are going to be not so great. Now, Ive seen a lot of these 1-star comments, with people complaining about stained and dirty clothes. No duh, its a thrift store. Also, complaints about the prices. Go on Wednesdays, its half-off for all but one of the color tags. Basically, know how to shop at thrift stores. Come on, people, were not expecting this to be JC Penneys. We arent going to get our pants hemmed here, they arent trying to win retail store awards. Its a thrift store, an upgraded garage sale. Take it for what it is. We live in America, youre free to go where you please and the stores are free to set the prices at whatever. Stop complaining about it, you chose to shop there.

Amandas & Curtis comments are consistent with what usually goes on @ a SA resale store. Even the drop boxes are picked through by those who go around to collect whats left in them. My Wife worked in the office of our local SA church for a while and saw this occur. This store is no different than any other SA store with the prices & merchandise. The best stuff is kept back, disappearing with staff or making its way somewhere where itll fetch more $$$ & whats left is priced from "discount retail clearance" to "discount retail" levels. You have to watch out & know your prices @ any thrift store. But, if youre good, and a little lucky you CAN score a bargain, it just takes a bit of work. Good luck everyone!

Hands down the best selection of items that Ive seen at a thrift store, with decent prices that have so far escaped being influenced too much by Goodwills ridiculous upcharging lately. I give it 5 because of goods, prices, and *most* of the staff. The team who works in the back with donations are the friendliest and most approachable people. Its a joy getting to drop off goods and chat wit them. The staff up front in the store, in most cases, seem as though they could use a break from working retail/customer service...Their attitudes arent enough to make me stay away, but it is definitely noticeable.

I worked here for 1 day in electronics. The guy I worked with is named Art. Basically what he does is set things off to the side, and takes them later. His exact words. He didnt say pay. He came across a PS2 and without hesitation he put it in his "stash spot" which is located under his work table. I refuse to work with a thief. So I just never went back. Also to the cashier who helped me get the job: Im sorry. I really am, but they are stealing back there, and I dont want to be a part of that. I hope one day they are caught for their misdeeds.

A little messy and unorganized versus other local thrift shops but if you know how to thrift shop you can find some awesome deals, especially on Wednesday, you just have to have plenty of time and paitence. And most of the staff is very helpful and friendly. Great deals and finds for a family on a tight budget.

Unhelpful staff. Wanted to buy an item on half off day that hadnt been priced. They expected me to come back tomorrow and pay full price because "no ones here to price it today. " Is it really such a big deal to slap a price tag on an item???

Always a great place to stop for whatever you may want. Theres a ton of floor space which means you need to give yourself time to find what you are looking for. Its one of my go to places when I need that one piece to finish an outfit.

One of my favorite thrift stores. Wide variety of things. Fair prices. Wednesday is half off day on everything except a certain color tag.

Kind of pricey unless you go on half off days or find a half off tag. I would never spend $10+ on a used sweater...
