I called Computer Depot because their diagnotic fee was much more reasonable than other companies. But regardless of that I more than likely will not do anymore business this company. I could have paid the dude at the flea market much less than $100 to give me the same results. Apparently my son tripped over his cord and forcefully pulled it from the laptop, disconnecting it from the motherboard, The Computer Depot diagnosted this and ordered a new power jack and connected to the laptop but now the laptop will not stay charged without being plugged in. On the 1st return visit, my son was told without it being looked at any further that being plugged in that it was now my generic dell compatible power adapter that was messed up and I needed to buy a new one. Just minutes after that I spoke with the manager and was told to let it power off then charge it for several hours and I did that (didnt change anything). The 2nd return (and final visit), I took it in, and was told the same thing but was given a used dell power adapter, well it does charge but only gives less than 1/3rd of what the battery life was, but Ill never let them touch my equipment again.

Its a decent store if you need computer parts and dont have the time or patience to wait for it but other than that I will be staying away from this place. Prices are decent and the staff is alright but I was quoted one price and given a higher price by the time I got in to buy it. The selection isnt great but its better than what you will find at Walmart or BestBuy when it comes to some catagories (You can find a better selection of fans, cables, sound cards, network cards and cases). If you are a enthusiast and need some replacement parts then this is a good place to go to if you need-it-now (Because we all know Walmart isnt exactly stocking up on case fans, power supplies, thermal paste and graphics cards) but if you are a recreational user who just needs a quick add on or upgrade (Hard drive, memory or a monitor), Id stick with the big name stores.

okay i have not done any business with them so i have no say in that part but I did go in and look around . they do have some very good prices on some stuff and of coarse some of it is just cheap stuff but if you need a bargain on a case or keyboard etc then they have it . sometimes a cheap item is the only thing you can afford so this is good . they also have plenty of higher end items at good prices . do not over look them when needing to purchase something .

Okay had small difference in customer service I will say the employee on Thursday July 13th 455pm turned things around and really showed me that he was very passionate about computer Tech this really made my day thank you sorry for my miss understanding

I bought a laptop yesterday 05/06/16 the guy kept staring me right in my face without blinking and I for uncomfortable (I was with my dad) but it a old used dell laptop and I cant seem to get the WiFi to work soo Im getting my money back

I bought my used laptop at Computer Depot 3 or 4 years ago. Not one problem ever and it only cost $160. Im going back to get another one, this time for my grandson. This place is great!!!

Loved the service and the speed. My computer crashed on me, a week before my finals. Took it in and they retrieved all my files and fixed it for me on the same day.
