I would give 0 stars if there was the choice. I came for tuesday tacos. 3 trays with three tacos each, so a total of 9 tacos. I literally waoted about 5 mins just for the man to understand what i was saying. Then he puts the meat on the tortillas sets them on the counter and walks away letting them get cold while he go to grab something from the back, that had nothing to do with our tacos. Comes back and continues our tacos, now about 15mins. He finishes the first tray and sets it o the counter letting it get colder. Then the same withthe other two. Finally time to pay. He doesnt ever ring it up for tuesday taco price and spends another 10 mins tryin to fix it and make it tuesday taco price. After hitting 25mins time total there for 9 tacos, we left didnt pay and didnt get the tacos. Worst experience even. I have heard good things and wanted to try. We will never go back. And just to let readers know... i work if food service. They were not busy, we were his only customers. And he wasnt waiting on meat to be made it was all there ready for him... They dont train their staff or their staff just cares less either way it was a terrible experience.

Many high quality foods. Meat section oustanding. Fruit and vegetables section also outstanding, better than most. Also many foods for the budget minded. I would give it 5 stars except for almost all their foods the prices are high. Albertsons is close by, but we all know Albertsons is highway robbery. Price wise it is best to check out the Dollar food market across the street from Save-Mart first, then go to Albertsons if the two other stores do not have what you want. All three store are a one minute drive from each other.

WOW! with Wal-Mart now coming to Tehachapi Save Mart is finally spending some money to dress up the place. I have to admit, didnt want to spend any time or money in there. place has not had a new piece of anything in there since it opened. Now they have energy efficient lights, new coolers, paint job, floors, the whole 9. Service hasnt changed though. STILL stellar. only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because of the length of time it took them to spend a little coin for great citizens of Tehachapi

Its a grocery store. The prices arent amazing, and neither is the selection, but thats to be expected in a small town like Tehachapi. Its fine for small, quick trips, but I recommend buying your bulk groceries out of town at Costco or Sams Club, then picking up smaller necessities at the local grocery store, like this Save Mart.

They are handling the renovations while open very well. The new flooring and displays look great, and the new lights are nice. My only complaint is Ive been shopping there for 20 years and now I have to re-learn where everything is! Haha! Consistanly good people on staff, fair prices, and quality products.

Great customer service!! The remodel is wonderful; I just need to adjust myself to all of the changes. They may not have as large of selection as "the other store", but they have enough plenty with much better customer service. Thank you for making my shopping experience a pleasure.

I used to stay away from Save Mart because it felt old and dirty to me. Since the remodel it is my go to store and now I stay away from Albertsons. It seems the products and produce are better quality since the remodel. Customer service is exceptional!

By far the best supermarket in Tehachapi. The employees are always incredibly helpful. All of them are friendly and actually enjoy working there. They also have a lot of vegan and healthy options for purchase which in Tehachapi is kind of hard to find.

They recently gave the front of store a face lift and it looks great, good prices, competitive with Alberstons, if you cant find something at Albertsons you probably will find it here in Savemart. Friendly customer service.
