I visited the super market for the restaurant section and i will never go back again. Not because of the quality of the food because it is good, but because of the customer service. I went there twice and both times i waited about 30 minutes for my order. This is ridiculous considering that the food is right in front of them already made and all they have to do is serve it on a plate. Both times i waited this long and both times there was very few customers so no excuse, the ladies are just very slow and they are lost.

Would be 5 stars BUT.... they dont call out the numbers in the meat/seafood section in English. I waited an hour.... just for a half pound of carne asada cause I kept getting skipped. I ended up using google translate. Although theres usually a customer there that speaks English and will let you know when your up. Everybodys really nice. BRUSH UP ON YOUR ESPANOL THOUGH!!!!! OR ELSE YOURE OUT OF LUCK!!!

My opinion. As a person who has worked at a Vallarta, you would think to expect service with a smile.... but this girl named Andrea was acting sour with me over the smallest questions.... gave me simple answers... if it was me is also give options as to other things I can do on how to get more cash back but I assume she was just having a bad day.

Theres this worker there Marylou and may I say she is one of the best hardest working employees they have! Although she needs to work on her smiling, shes an amazing worker for such a young lady. And now that they have her working in the vallarta bakery, the roscas are a must have, absolutely phenomenal! Shout out to Marylou!

I love the food bar here. The pollo asada is really good. $7.49 for half a chicken, beans, rice, salad, tortillas and salsa bar. And the chicken is no some pollo loco pigeon sized chicken either. The parking is not the best I try to hit at off hours. It is a Mexican market in Van Nuys so a little Spanglish goes a long way.

I tried to call the store and suggested not to place hot roasted chicken in plastic bags due to the fact that the chicken breaks off and becomes a mess. I dont think they paid much attention to my request; are they not able to afford the proper containers? No lo creo venden mucho pero nunca nos quejamod.

Great selection of Hispanic foods, prices are always low for fruits and vegetables. The only issue here is the customer service on the sweet bread and cooked meats area. You will be waiting a min before one of the cashiers says anything.

Ok store ,good location but stay away from the "ceviche". The fish style ,it was terrible not even edible I had to throw it out. Total waste of money , Im never buying fish products in my life from there .
