I do like Jewel. Shopping experience is very good. However, they recently removed the self check out lanes and now the check out experience is AWFUL! I was told this decision was to speed things along and every time I make an argument they tell me its proven to make things faster. This is absolutely not the case! First, they removed 6 self checkouts and replaced them with 4 express lanes. Only 2 of which I have ever seen open at the same time. Previously I could grab a couple of items, not wait in line and blow right through check out. 3 minutes tops. Since the change there are long lines and I have yet to be able to check out without waiting. Bad bad bad choice Jewel!

Less than exceptional store. Looks older than most Jewel Osco stores. I just moved to Lisle from Naperville and was used to the one there on Ogden. There was a lot of things in weird places. Not sure why the bacon, sausage, and lunch meat is in the front near Produce instead of the meat department. I am still on my quest to find a local grocer for my family and I.

Have visited this jewel a few times in the past months and I found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. The store itself seems to be well stocked and clean. And the chiefs kitchen inside seems to always have my favorite honey tenders available when they seem to be becoming harder to find at jewel. Great and fast place to stop by and shop.

Never have what I am looking for. Seems to be a Jewel corporate does not take care of. Outdated an service from deli has always been rude. Also smells very bad by meat department. Will travel to next town over an keep going to Jewel I am use to an much nice service,clean,an always has what I am looking for or gets it for me if not there.

Ever since the Dominicks closed across the street the shopping experience here has gone downhill. Out of stocks on many common items are now the norm. SOMeONE has got to figure out how to order correctly. Just in time stocking does not work, If we had an alternative that was relatively convenient wed be gone.

Got rid of self checkouts at all Jewels and it has made every trip extremely slow...worst decision ever ...even with people having problems using the machines they were still faster then the employees, and there were more machines open...typically only 1-2 express lanes open now...terrible.

The aisles are too small. If employees are stocking and other people are shopping it is nearly impossible to pass by. Prices are high, but thats Jewel in general. Its a small Jewel so theres not a lot of extras.

Originally stopped at Jewel for Apple Cider Vinegar. I heard it was a good cure for fruit flies, anyway ended up spending over forty dollars for additionally items. Good visit, nice staff and clean environment.
