My boyfriend and my dad both applied to this Meijer My boyfriends story: he got a call the Sunday before Easter and somebody asked if he could be interviewed that day, he was out of town so he said "No, could we do it tomorrow after I get out of school?" They said sure we will call you. Next day (Monday before easter) my boyfriend called this Meijer and someone said that he couldnt go to the interview because the manager wasnt there. Next day same thing happened. Then the day after that the actual manager answered the phone saying some important people would be coming so she would call my boyfriend after they leave. THE MANAGER NEVER CALLED. The next day my boyfriend called again and they said the manager wasnt there. The Friday before Easter he got a call back from Pizza Hut and got the job on the spot. My Fathers story: its been a month since his interview and they finally called to tell him he got the job. This meijers needs to work on a lot of things. That was the worst experience that has ever happened to my family and I hope nobody else goes through what my boyfriend and father have witnessed. I cant believe nobody had expressed the fact that the manager was on VACATION. Next time dont call someone for an interview if its not the manager calling or if the manager is going to be on vacation the next day.

I love this Meijer store. Any complaints that are voiced to Meijers are actually addressed quickly by Management from the store. The store is clean and the employees are just Super people willing to go the extra mile and help. On the down side...something needs to be done about the strawberries! I dont know if it is a shipping problem and the time it takes for them to be presented on display, but you get them home and they are already bad or go bad in a day. At times I have seen molded berries in packages on display. This goes for the Meijers store in Southgate too. So, Cmon produce managers keep a better eye on them.

Ive always loved shopping at this Meijers and today especially, Meijers did not disappoint. I ordered deli trays including mini sandwiches (wonderful meat/cheese variety), egg salad and chicken salad on fresh mini croissants for my Godsons first communion celebration/nieces baptism. One word: OUTSTANDING!!! Thank you Meijer crew for such fabulous, fresh and delicious sandwiches, I could net have done it better myself, and Im pretty picky. Management please share this praise and my gratitude with your employees, thank you!

Hate this store. To large, hard for me to find what im looking for. Always super slow lines and when its packed its just just the worst. - abt all meijers. Only good thing they have is bottle returns or i wldnt even step my foot it. Waited in line for well over a half our the other day for 2 people who didnt have a huge amt of stuff. I go to aldies and it takes 10 mins to do several ppl with full carts.

I go to this Meijer location all of the time and always have great experiences with the exception of today. I have never in my life dealt with such a rude employee at the self-checkout. I know what its like to work in customer service. People can be extremely difficult at times, but you still have to pull yourself together and be kind to your customers. This lady definitely did not get that memo.

Its okay. Its in a convenient spot and the workers are always really friendly and helpful, BUT they never have nearly enough lanes open and theres always a wait. Even when Ive went late at night after work, there was a line. Plus, they tend to sell out of items that are on sale in the ad really quickly there so I end up going to a different one.

I dont go here much anymore, but they used to have a lot of empty shelf space in the grocery section where things are supposed to be. I could rarely get everything I needed because they did not have it out. I do not know if it was from slow workers, or needing new shipments. Other than that they have a nice selection of clothes and jewelry.

This Meijer is medium on cleanliness, is always out of stock on at least two things Im looking for, and has insanely long checkout lines. The chain itself has gotten pricey and I find Meijer perks to be a cumbersome reward system that slowly pulls the carrot further and further away. Bleah...give me a Trader Joe/Target combo any day!

Cant wait for flatrock miejers to open . Woodhaven is always short staffed. Sale items are gone by 10am on sunday.i been a miejers shopper for 35 years and considering switching to Kroger for better stockers and less of a wait in line.I remember the quote.( Your next in line at miejers ). Really?

Our favorite location shout out to Ray B the senior greeter always on his game works the entrance at grocery side. Large seating area with restrooms just inside door. Well layout make it easy to shop. Very friendly helpful employees and clean restrooms. Join the Mperks club for super savings

Used to be my favorite Meijer, but they took out the self check outs! I have 4 kids, 2 of which are 18 month old twin daughters!!! I need the self checkout for my sanity and for others (behind me in line!) Now that they opened the Flat Rock location....sorry Woodhaven Meijer!

30 lanes and 4 open??? What a joke! Lines 10-12 people deep! I ask for a manager and she said someone called off!?!? As if that one person was gonna change this situation? Funny, within 5 minutes of my complaint 3 lanes opened up??? POOR MANAGEMENT.

Pharmacy takes a longer than any pharmacy I have ever seen in my entire life. Workers are profoundly lazy especially in the Pharmacy. The drive-through takes 45 minutes and they always mess up my insurance. Not coming back.

The first time I ever went to this location. There was a small cockroach running on the floor at the self check out. I must say after 2 years theyve cleaned it up quite a bit. This is the store I got to regularly now.

Almost always disappointed in this store. Too much variety and not enough stock of "name brand" foods. Way too much Meijer and off-brand goods. Rarely does this Meijer have everything I plan to buy.

This is an OK store. The pharmacy cant seem to get it together. I switched all my prescriptions to another store and I have had to tell them to cancelled my automatic refills on 3 different occassions.

Mostly clean and nice store. Extremely disappointed in their produce. Every time I go I find spoiled, rotten and buggy produce. I have started going to Kroger for produce which has been wonderful!
