We are looking for a laptop for our daughter who is heading off to college. We found a HP that we really liked but did not purchase right away since it was the beginning of summer and was assured that the computer would still be in the store at the price it was currently at. WRONG! I stopped by the store one day and noticed that almost all of the computers had been changed out. I talked to a sales guy (who was really nice) and found a Toshiba laptop that was going to do everything that we wanted it to do and at a good price. I was concerned that if we bought the computer right away that it was going to sit in the box for almost two months before she even opened it for college, therefore, losing two months of the warranty. The salesman assured me several different times that the price was not going to change and since they just got new laptops in that it would be fine to wait until August to purchase the Toshiba at that price. WRONG AGAIN!!! I went in today to purchase the computer and the price was much higher than it was the first time I saw it. I talked with a sales lady, the manager and then called the 800 # regarding the discrepencies in what I was told verses what was my reality. I am NOT at all pleased with the outcome and will be purchasing our daughters new laptop somewhere other than Best Buy. They all but said that I was lying and that the sales man would not have told me that the price would stay the same. I recommend to EVERYONE out there to consider making your purchases somewhere besides Best Buy. They are not the sort of business that I will be doing my business with. I would love to support my local store but will not when they show NO LOYALTY to their customers. Very disappointed at this time.

January 2014 Absolutely Horrible Experience I purchased a warranty on the phone I purchased . I was told no deductible by my salesperson and this was at beginning of Sept 2013 and appearently there warranty changed that month and I was miss informed . I called the 800 number just last week Jan 2014 I wasnt sure if the warranty covered screens and I was a a place that would have replaced it for 65.00 plus tax but I wanted to be sure that my manufacturer warranty on the device wouldnt be voided . The person from Geek Squad at the 800 number said dont pay to get done when you can schedule a appt. And get done for nothing zero . I said so theres no deductible and she responded correct. I went to my appt and was told that in Sept there warranty changed to 150 deductible . I wasnt very happy so I went out to my car called the 800 number and simulated my original phone call from last week and the 800 best buy number said it again ZERO DEDUCTIBLE . I got her name went inside were the MANAGER WAS RUDE AND SAID IF HE COULD GOT TO THERE OFFICE AND TRAIN THEM HE WOULD . Aperently even there Main office isnt clear on the warranty . I THOUGHT THE STORE MANAGER SPOKE DOWN TO ME AND WAS VERY RUDE . He said theres no way one of his employees didnt explain the warranty correctly because he trained them . I WILL NEVER ENTER THE MARYSVILLE STORE AGAIN I felt humiliated the way the manager spoke to me in front of other customers and his employees. I can go on and on about my terrible experience. Brian L

This is a pitiful excuse for a business. I ordered a washer and dryer that they claimed was on back-order and wouldnt be able to get until 3 weeks after the order date. Come delivery date, I went through a slew of embarrassing incompetence resulting in being misinformed by at least 7 different people at Best Buy, (word that the washer is all of a sudden on back-order the morning of the expected delivery date, next the dryer is on back-order but the washer is on its way, next delivery was attempted but "no-one was home", and so on and so forth). Between my girlfriend and I, we must have called over 12 times to get this sorted out. Ended up cancelling the deliver altogether after being fed up with this nonsense, but still had to wait on hold over 2 hours on separate occasions to even get a hold of management, who then claimed to have cancelled the order only to get voicemails claiming delivery was a go for the next day, despite "cancellation." Not to mention, no sympathy was given from anyone nor promises of a better experience next time. Complete lack of respect for the customer. Save your money and time and go elsewhere.

Been there two or three times and cant ever seem to get the attention of any associates. Many of the displays and demos dont function (all of the home audio section for example) and the store is just generally a bit run down and poorly kept. If you can get the attention of an associate they seem to default toward a casual, unprofessional attitude and dont seem to mind if they cant answer your questions. Overall this particular location seems to be poorly managed but it takes advantage of its monopoly for electronics in Marysville. Do yourself a favor and drive on to the full size Dublin location if you need something more than a dvd, the 20 minutes itll take you to get there will be made up by the fact that the Dublin store is staffed with eager knowledgeable people.

I dont understand why some of the others have had an awful experience here. Im always greeted at the door and if I wander the store, Im usually asked every 2-3 minutes if I want help. Granted, this is not the largest Best Buy Ive ever been in, and not all the Geek Squad is knowledgeable about every product line. When Ive asked a question, for example about DSLRs, and the Geek Squad person seems less than knowledgeable, Ive asked for someone who HAS the knowledge and Ive always been given the appropriate answers. Sometimes if you dont ask the right questions, you dont get the answers you seek. Ill shop here again when appropriate. Better luck next time, folks.

I had a wonderful experience in the entertainment section of this Best Buy. I went in simply to look at TVs and compare prices and ended up making a purchase. I have had the TV for a couple days now and I love the choice I made and I had excellent help from a gentleman named Tim. I had two kids with me, one in which was screaming and Tim was very patient with us and I didnt feel rushed at all. He even hauled it out to my car for me. I most definitely recommend this Best Buy and will be returning for future purchases!

went in to get my computer fixed all i needed was them to remove the anti virus software because i had tried to remove it myself and failed many times they made me pay $120 to fix it keep it for a week and when i got it back they said it was fixed but instead they removed software on my computer i needed to have it run right so now im out $500 for the laptop its self because its unfix-able now and another $120 for them to brake my computer
