I come here for Amish organic and free range eggs, chickens and butter, nice selection of lamb and veal cuts (including ground), organic non-homogenized milk, Greek pasta and cheeses, Deitz & Watson deli, Greek gyro and cucumber sauce, hot freshly baked french breads, fantastic produce selection, and a variety of ethnic foods. There are attended meat and fish counters with a selection of wild caught fish. Whole fish is displayed, so you can judge the freshness by the eyes: I pay a bit more to have it fileted ~ fresh and delicious. The deli provides lasagna by the slice and by the pan (too salty for my taste), calzones, fried zucchini and eggplant with and without blue cheese, and more. The check out clerks are fast... Ive never spent an excessive time in line nor encountered a pricing issue ~ but I do wish that they wiped their belt more often. The products that Ive mentioned are what bring me to Vallis. I dont buy ultra-pasteurized and when Vallis has not stocked Deans pasteurized whipping cream I need to go to the Jewel. Its also only at the Jewel that I can obtain St. Delfour fruit spread (an all fruit jam ~ no sugar), a wider variety of teas, Cascade yogurt, fried chicken, and it seems to me that Jewels deli meat has more flavor. All in all, unique items, great prices, and no shopping headaches other that busy time is very crowded and the deli can be a long wait. As in all stores, I check the product dates and condition.

There is only ONE person that can speak understandable English in the Seafood Department!!!!! All of the seafood looks tired and older than me!!! The display looks very unappetizing along with boring. It is a damn shame that with all of the seafood available to you that you have to get it from China and it is raised on farms there. I would never eat anything from that country. Is somebody on " the take " in the seafood department? What a downright shame to invest all of that money in expansion and sell the poor quality product that you have!!!!!!!!!! Thank God there is MARIANOs to shop at. At least there I dont feel that I am being watched by a bunch of illegal THUGS!!!! Oh yeah, when produce is only able to last 2 days before it goes bad why buy it? SERVICE and QUALITY(produce and SEAFOOD) absolutely are horrendous!!!! I was told that they violate many health department codes in seafood as well, I hope not! Hector is the son-in-law of the owner and is absolutely atrocious for a " MANAGER ".. The produce is old and that is why it is cheap!!!! I hope ICE goes here to round up a bus load!!!!

Valli Produce is unique in that it offers groceries that you would likely not find in a Jewel, Treasure Island or Walmart. If youre looking for livers, gizzards, trotters, tongues or ears to cook, look no further. If youre looking for Asian, Mexican or European spices and condiments, look no further. This place will satisfy most of your exotic food cravings. The prices here are also very reasonable, some of the sale items are a really good bargain so look out for those. The place can get a little cramped because of the large crowds on the weekend so if you dont know where everything is, be prepared to spend a little more time here just navigating through the crowds.

I have just learned my lesson, " you got what you paid for." Cheap prices? There is a reason behind these cheaper prices, lower quality. I was told by one of their store manager that one of the products I bought (with disgusting things in it) was directly from suppliers in Mexico. And at one time, we bought some fish, and the fish was rotten. You might catch some diseases by eating food from Vallie Produce. And be careful about animal droppings or animal urine in your food products. It seems that the owner and the managers do not care about YOUR health, they dont care about the quality of their product.

Cheaper than Jewel, Marianos and Dominicks (when it was around in the suburbs). Vali is not your classic American grocery store. It has an eclectic variety of vegetables and fruits which the regular chain grocery stores do not carry, and due to its locations, and customer demographic, it carries a lot of asian and European spices and food items. Its an immigrant friendly store, but you can still find your basic items here: milk, cheese, eggs, yogurt, fruit. These basic things are priced competitively.

Wide selection of items ranging from produce, meats, ethnic/european foods, bakery, bulk items, and more. They have great prices and when I need them, their fresh items such as produce are always ...fresh, and well stocked. If you go during peak times, it can be very busy since this store is likely a one stop shop for a lot of people in the area. In addition to the huge produce area, they have an awesome baked goods section, and a huge deli/meat area with literally everything you would want.

The greatest store for produce in the area! It has all the Indian, European and Asian vegetables, produce, cheese and meat. If you need fresh vegetable, meat, cheese then go here to shop. There is always a ton of individuals shopping so you get fresh items. Afterward visit the Asian Noodle House for lunch. Even better deals for food! Valli also has a wide selection of seafood and frozen items. They have a bakery as well with good deserts. MINDBLASTING!

I had a terrible service with the personnel of produce. I asked for 2 lemons and he just ignore me, avoid me, saying we are close, the coolers are close now (please!, what a F. answer is that?) B.S. they dont have manners neither service attitude, they dont care about customer service. Im sorry for the owner Don Alfredo, he give opportunities to employ people (apparently uneducated) but they dont care once they are hired!

First of all the produce is wonderful and the prices cant be beat. The selection of specialty products from all over the world makes shopping an adventure. The bakery is friendly. the fish is fresh and there are varieties you cant get anywhere else. But the people at this store are so very friendly and helpful and that is what makes this one of my favorite places to shop.

Well, my cashier was splendid. I got help from a few workers on the grocery floor. However, when I went to the customer service desk, I was told that when using the Valli app, you must present the app (for coupons) before you pay. Then she shove me over right quick; Its not about the money you see, it was about her attitude. They wont be getting any more of my business.

This Valli has the freshest and best quality fish in at least a 7mile radius. I have tried Marianos, several Jewels, and Tonys. Valli is the only store to have fish that doesnt smell like dirty beach. I always go for wild caught and they have such a fantastic selection of fresh fish as well as sashimi grade fish as well. This is now the only place i buy fish.
