My husband was in the market for a new/used vehicle because his Chevy Malibu lease was about to expire. After doing a lot of research he felt a Toyota RAV4 would best suit his needs and had excellent automobile reviews. Jim went to Romano Toyota initially looking for a used RAV4 with low mileage, recent year model and reasonably priced. He met with Jake Sardella, who spent 2 hours with him explaining the many options he could consider, new vs used, lease vs buy, 1 vehicle now and another in August when my lease ends vs 2 vehicles now and end my lease early and the financial outcomes of every scenario. Jim shared all that information with me later that day. We decided that 2 new vehicles now and to lease rather than buy would make the most financial sense for us at this point in our lives. Together we went back to Romano Toyota and met with Jake and told him what we had decided and he again spent a lot of time with us reviewing all our options. In the end we did lease 2 RAV4s. We arranged to pick up our vehicles 2 days later after first stopping at a nearby Chevy dealership to turn in both leased vehicles. When the inspection on those vehicles was completed Jake came and picked us up and we returned to Romano Toyota. Jake had all the final paperwork organized and ready for signatures and explained what each document was for and he made the our first service appointment for us. We then went out to our new cars and he showed us all the options available in both vehicles and how to operate them and he synced both our phones to Bluetooth for us. Thank you Jake, you made this the very best car shopping experience we have ever had!

I was disappointed in my recent experience with Toyota. When my camrys headlights wouldnt turn off (even with the car off- I ended up having to unhook the battery so it wouldnt go dead) I scheduled an appointment. They were allowed me to drop it off the same day, but would not give me a loaner (although they advertise that they always do), kept my car 4 days (extra days because they didnt have the part, then ordered the wrong part), which was incredibly inconvenient given they still didnt have any loaner vehicles. Dont advertise loaners if you do not have them. The part that needed to be replaced (something of a fancy fuse) was listed as $250 on my receipt with the bill being over $600. It must have been quite the laborious job. I think I would be okay with the price gauging if there was better customer service. During this ordeal I called Toyota daily for updates and had a lot of difficulty getting someone from service on the phone. The first call they put me on hold 10 minutes then came back on and routed me to a voicemail that was full so I couldnt leave a message. The second call they apologized and put me on hold again, then no one came back to the phone at all. My family has bought several cars here over the years and used this dealership for service in the past, and I have body work I need done, but given this experience, I will look at other options for future repairs.

This story is unbelievable and I suggest you read it before getting your car serviced by Romano Toyota. My wife took our Tacoma in to be serviced for a recall on Saturday. She picked the car up but Romano failed to put the lug nuts back on her rear tire and the tire flew off the car as it was being driven a half mile away in the middle of a busy street! Can you imagine? She was just about to get onto the Freeway! Several times we have requested to speak with Mr. Romano or the GM but have been rebuffed. I guess almost taking a persons life wasnt enough to get Mr. Romanos attention. My wife hasnt been the same since it happened. She cant eat, has stomach pains and cries uncontrollably. I cannot believe the uncaring approach they are taking to this serious incident. I only write this because we are getting nowhere, as you will if you ever have a problem with Romano Toyota. In addition to this story, only after my wife called the GM, Mike Abbey, and 4 days after the incident, did I get a chance to speak w/him. His response to my query about never receiving a call was, and I quote: "Im not sure I would expect a call from the owner or GM if that happened to my wife" end quote. End quote indeed! I almost lost my wife because of their carelessness and Im asking too much?

When I moved to the Fayetteville area I was looking for a new vehicle and I went to the closest dealership (Romano Toyota). They just redid their facilities and it looked great! Since that first purchase, I have worked with Jake Sardella every time my lease is up (4 vehicles now). He is the best! I dont like to spend a lot of time actually in the dealership so I typically email him. He is quick to respond, professional, and he always, and I mean always gets me the best deal on my leases. We do most everything by email and all I have to do is show up and sign the papers. No hassle, no haggling, no drama. He is a straight shooter - which is what I want when I buy/lease my car. I have tried to get lower prices elsewhere at other dealerships in the Syracuse area and they can never beat Romanos pricing (not to mention professionalism and cleanliness in the showroom). I am actually heading over today to sign my newest lease (Rav 4) and am so excited. I HIGHLY recommend asking for him personally when you go to the dealer. You will not be disappointed. My personal recommendation is to work with him. Also, the service department there is quick/easy when I get my oil changed. Thanks Romano!

I recently purchased a Toyota Highlander from this dealership and couldnt be happier with the car or my entire experience. My salesman was Jake Sardella- I knew it would be a smooth deal because my husband has also purchased a 4Runner from him with nothing but good things to say. I had a very specific budget to work with and Jake helped us understand the numbers and make my dream car a reality within my budget. He was quick to respond to my questions both via text and email. My purchase included a full dealership tour, set up of my maintenance appointments complete with a loaner car, and a full rundown of the inside and outside of my car upon delivery. I never once felt rushed or that my questions were silly. He continues to make himself available for even the most trivial questions (i.e. how to operate the radio) He was knowledgable about the features on the car and the financing that went along with it and went the extra mile to make the entire buying and trade in experience a good one. Each person we encountered at the dealership was cordial and helpful. My husband and myself will definitely be repeat customers.

We just bought a Rav 4 from Romano Toyota and we could not be happier. The whole process from start to finish was fantastic and quick. The salesman Alex Ribarovski was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. He was patient and answered every question my wife and I had. He was upfront and honest about everything. Before we drove the Rav 4 off the lot he went over how to operate all the technology. Meeting with the finance person Andy was just as easy. He went over payment options and explained them in great detail. They were never pushy and gave us plenty of time to make a decision. They gave us more for our trade in than I expected. I researched my trade in on several web sites and Romano beat every one of them. There was no need to go back and forth with the price because I knew I was getting a great deal. I have bought cars for over 20 years and I can say that Alex made this the most pleasant car buying experience. We will be going to Romano Toyota from now on to buy our vehicles. Before we left we talked to the GM Mike Abby. He was making sure we had a great experience buying the vehicle.
