I have had nothing but issues with Pohanka from the beginning. When I made the decision to buy my 2015 Toyota Carolla, the dealer who was selling me the car said "just between us girls, why dont you look at this other car". I was annoyed but kindly told him no thank you. After I went through the purchasing process, I was ready to leave and noticed that there was no license plate on the front of the car. The dealer told me that MD has a new law that if there is no bracket, there is no need to put one on the car. Two days later, I was cruising with my two boys (4 and 1 at the time) and I was pulled over by the police for not having my plate on the front of my car (strike 1). Months later, I get a notice in the mail that the bank was going to put a lien on my car because Pohanka did not put them as the loan holder on the title (strike 2). On Saturday, I took my car in to get an oil change. I was irritated that they did a tire rotation without asking me and then charged me for it anyway. On top of that they had a laundry list of random things that they "recommend" me have done. I declined everything but an air filter and the oil change (but still not mention of rotating my tires). The next day when I drove my son to the doctors, my wheels were vibrating so badly I couldnt hear him talking to me from my back seat. So, I took it back in and asked them to take a look. After waiting an hour, I was told that essentially I needed four new tires. I was furious! I explained that my car wasnt doing that when I brought it in and it had to be something they did to make the tires vibrate like they were and that I was absolutely NOT going to buy four new tires. He told me that they would put the tires back the way they were before they touched them on Saturday. I allowed them to do it even though in the back of my mind I didnt know what difference it would make if they were SO bad! When he came out to give me my keys I asked him if he was going to refund my money from the original rotation, since I didnt ask for it to be done. He smiled and told me that he had to charge me and that I was lucky he wasnt charging me for the "unrotation". I couldnt believe what he was saying and at this point I had, had enough. I said "Well, that certainly is nice of you....but I wont be coming back!" My suggestion, dont buy from them and dont go to their service department. They will find any way to rip you off!

I purchased a brand new Corolla in September. I was left alone for most of my waiting experience. Within a week my car was in the shop for repairs even though there were less than 100 miles on it. No one would call me back, every time I called I was given a different explanation. Finally they took my car in to repair the defroster and radio and gave me a rental for 2 weeks, which I appreciated but was annoyed that my brand new car needed weeks of repairs. Finally that problem was fixed, and now I keep receiving ridiculous emails from them. These emails are titled "Recall Notice on your Toyota" Inside the email is a video link. It looks extremely shady and has no information in the email. I emailed Pohanka and asked for more info, and no one responded. I received more of these emails and called and was told it is an informative video on how to check your VIN number. I explained that the email is extremely misleading and that they should re-title it. The person said yeah we have been getting calls about that but we cant change it. So they are going to continue sending me emails about my recalled car, even though the car is not being recalled.

Purchased a certified used 2015 Corolla today. It was the best car buying experience I have ever had. My salesperson, Paul Davis (who was outstanding) checked on Toyota finance rates and informed me that certified used cars were eligible for new car finance rates, which were as low as 1.90% for 60 months. The certified used car was actually on the showroom floor. After looking at the vehicle and taking a test drive, I decided to buy the car. The car was cleaned and the gas tank was filled, while I completed the paperwork. I was out the door in just over 2.5 hours. I dont purchase vehicles very often, but when I do, I will be back and I will definitely refer others.

My name is Robert Kenney and I just want to say that after numerous car purchases over the years I have found a dealership for life. I had the best experience at Pohanka Toyota of Salisbury. The complete professionalism of my experience was great. My salesperson went far beyond their duties to get me the best price for my trade and found me the perfect new car for my needs. Even while waiting to complete my deal was a first class experience in the show room that has all the comforts of home. Everyone involved in my purchase made this a wonderful painless fast experience. Highly recommend this auto group to anyone looking for a new or used car.

The service department and sales department have really went down hill in the past few years.people not at all polite, could even say rude. Will find someone else to service my car and will not buy from Pohanka again. Had a toyota body repaired at the body shop people rude, did not fix everything, told Richard about it,he said they would not fix it because they already got the check from insurance company and I could not get a rental car again because pohanka told them it was fixed.NOT DEPENDABLE FOR REPAIRS AND SERVICE.

Gave second chance after last debacle in service. This time they gave me a loaner...OK, cool. But, the driver ate something in my car that 24 hours later still radiates a foul oder, and left his napkins on the front passage seat. He also messed around with my after-market sound system, changing my controls somehow. No clue what he did, but I cant figure out hoe to change my channels. This is my fault. After all, fool me once... I will drive to Easton or Pokomoke from now on.

Awesome dealership with a great accommodating staff. I am out of state and wanted to see the vehicle as well as possible before driving hours to go see it. Cassie was nice enough to crawl over and under the truck to take a bunch of pictures for me. Although I didnt end up buying the truck, (my fault not theirs) I would not hesitate to do business with then in the future. I just wanted to publicly thank the team and Cassie for all of the help they provided for me.
