Quality of medications is top notch, and customer service was excellent.....until dealing with the pharmacy manager. I called in recently to refill a prescription and her attitude was less then professional. My doctor refers to this certain prescription by another name and she became frustrated and even huffed her breath on the phone when she could not understand what I was talking about. Which I then told her to just look up my Rx history on the computer, to which she responded "oh" And this is the manager! Moving onto billing, I asked her to email my invoice to me so I could get it submitted faster to my HSA, to which we got into another argument because she didnt know what an HSA was and kept telling me they dont process insurance claims. I think the owner of this pharmacy better send her back to school if she doesnt know what an HSA, but irregardless, you dont argue with a customer. Finally, all my previous interactions with this pharmacy, they had no problem emailing my invoice, now all of a sudden this supposed manager wants to give me crap about it. At the very minimum this woman needs to be taught basic customer service skills, and learn how to not talk so fast that she stumbles over her own words. Terrible manager, may be time to find a different pharmacy just based off of this experience.

This pharmacy is fantastic, and you know it from the moment you step in the door. The lobby is very nice and the staff greets you immediately, every time. Ive been with this particular pharmacy for a little over a year now and I think its important to note that theyre always getting busier and busier (theyre going to move to an upgraded facility sometime in the next year).... but the quality has stayed the same, absolutely top-notch! At first I was concerned about the move and not having this place right down the road from me anymore, but the staff let me know that they offer free shipping to customers in Houston! It should say something that this is one of the few compounding pharmacies thats allowed to operate in all 50 states and I look forward to working with them in the years to come.

I have been using compounding pharmacies for many years for testosterone, HCG, injectable vitamins, and other products. Most tend to send deliveries late, they change prices on you without notice, do not provide "how-to" fact sheets to use products, etc Empower Rx Pharmacy is the first one to do everything I did not get before with different companies. I use them now and refer everyone that reads my books and articles to them since I know they will take care of people and not drop the ball like all other compounding pharmacies. Empower Rx also has the highest standards that meet the new strict regulations to ensure sterility. I visited them and was blown away by their high tech clean room where they blend their compounds.

I met Shaun at Empower in early 2014 and have used his pharmacy since then. I have a large age management practice and have worked with several different pharmacies in the past, and Empower is among the best. Their pharmacists are extremely knowledgeable and quick to teach me as a physician and implement changes in medications for my patients. When I ask for something unusual, I dont think I have ever been told "we cant do that" - but rather "we can make it happen" or "here is even a better way to make it happen." Empower has what my patients need, delivered in a very professional manner (and appearance). What more could I want?

A person never answers the phone and a person will never return your call! First you receive a recorded message to call them because they have a prescription they need you to verify. When you call back you get a message to wait on the line because everyone is busy. After waiting 10 to 20 minutes the recording tells you to leave a message and they will call you back. I went through this process a least six times and spent a least a hour waiting before someone picked up and verified my information in less that a minute. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

For the people who have issues with the phone system contact the owner Shaun if he sees your dissatisfaction Im certain he will fix it. I know these folks and the drug you get is of extreme high quality in purity and sterility. Thats the most important thing in a compounder not who answers the phone best. Not that it is not bad CS but what you ingest , inject or rub on should be the best and this place does that. You know when your med works well and you know when a compounder gives you bunk that does nothing.

Annoying phone system calls me to tell me to call them because I have a prescription waiting. I call and stay on hold for 10 minutes then have to leave a message. They dont call back. What should take 30 seconds to a minute to achieve if a real person called in the first place ends up taking hours waiting to talk to someone. Usually once I do get a person they are very nice and efficient its just that their process isnt efficient at all and wastes my time.

I am a Urology/Mens Health PA. Many of the medications I prescribe are not covered by my patients insurance plans and are quite costly. Empower offers high quality alternatives at prices that almost everyone can afford. They offer free shipping with many orders which not only keeps the prices low, but makes getting the medication that much easier for my patients. I am very pleased with their quality and high level of service.

Good prices for otherwise expensive prescription medicine. This is a compounding pharmacy, youll need to file insurance on your own and ask Empower for an insurance claim form, if the particular medicine you are obtaining is part of your prescription medicine plan. They are always very friendly, fast in filling and very accommodating. Based on my doctor, they compound correctly with the right amounts.

I am an MD who specializes in alternative medicine, so I use a lot of compounded remedies. Empower Pharmacy has impressed me for all the good reasons. My only complaint is that sometimes I have to hold for a long time to talk to a pharmacist, but then the pharmacist does spend a good amount of time patiently explaining to me the info I need. I like that. Good people, good service.
