I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I was very unimpressed. I test drove a 2010 CADILLAC SRX (be wary with this vehicle, people). While driving it, the engine light comes on. The mechanic checks it and states its the cam shaft position sensor... which, after doing some research, is actually a very cheap and simple fix if its just the sensor thats going bad. The issue was that it could also be something very seriously wrong with the engine. The finance manager, SEAN BEARD, tells me, "This is what we can do, we can slightly drop the price of the car but we will NOT fix it, just buy the warranty that we are offering and you will be fine." ... SERIOUSLY?! I need to buy a warranty to pay for what you refused to fix?!? Before I even purchase the car?? Now I dont know much about cars, so I told Sean that I needed a second opinion, and they offer to let me take the car and return it the next day. I talked to several mechanic friends that evening and all of them said stay FAR away from that car and this company. There is no reason you should be paying for a warranty to fix something before even buying a car. That is the dealerships responsibility and theyre scamming you. The next day, I took the car back and told SEAN BEARD that I would not be buying the car for the reasons previously stated... Now as soon as I, the customer, said I was not interested in buying a damaged car, SEAN BEARD says "hey, how about this, we will fix the issue for you." At that point, I was so irritated that they were trying to rip me off that I told them I was taking my business elsewhere. This is how MAPLEWOOD AUTO MALL does business with their customers, scamming a woman who doesnt know much about cars into paying for their issues. I promise you people, you do not want any part of this place.

I wouldnt even give one star if I could. Apparently the car my Fiance and I were interested in belonged to the owner of the dealership. It was a 06 Mercedes S65 Bi-turbo V12. Originally we were told the car would be sold with another set of rims along with it, and a warranty as well. First visit was to just take a look. I told my Fiance that we were not going to buy the car without a warranty due to a previous experience. On a sticker, on the car window, it was stated that the car was covered under warranty. 2nd visit took 2 hours for them to run our applications for financing, whatever. First off, the KBB value for the Mercedes is $21,000 at most, they were selling it for 23,900. When I brought it up, they said that this car isnt on KBB because it is an "exotic car" and whatever else. Clearly that was a lie. And when we asked about an inspection, Brandon stated all the cars go through inspection before they try to sell it. BUT when we asked for a copy of the report, he said he didnt have it (kinda sketchy). Anyway, my Fiance wanted it, so we went ahead even though we knew we were being overcharged for it. We came back the next day, we planned on trading in our car. All went well and the car was ready for us to drive off the lot. Then, we found out that they had already sold the set of rims that they said would come with the car. ALSO they then informed us the car does NOT come with a warranty, when on the window it was clearly stated that it comes with a warranty. That is what led us to no longer want the car. The problem is, they were dishonest about the warranty and the tires, so how can we trust the car is in good condition as they say? Overall, we both left angry because 2 days of our time was wasted on this place.

I wish i could give this place 0 stars. My friend walks in here to purchase a vehicle, test drives a 2010 CADILLAC SRX (be wary with this vehicle people). Test drives it, the engine light comes on. The mechanic checks it and states its the cam shaft position sensor. Which is actually a very cheap and simple fix if its just the sensor thats going bad. The finance manager, SEAN BEARD tells my friend, "this is what we can do, we can take off money of the cost of the car but we CANNOT fix it, just take our warranty and you will be fine". REALLY, REALLY SEAN, you are by far the worse person at this dealership, I wish i was there so I can give you a piece of my mind. HOW ABOUT NO!!! HAVE A LITTLE PRIDE IN YOUR POSITION AS A MANAGER AND SHOW THAT YOU CARE ABOUT WHAT PEOPLE DRIVE OFF WITH ON YOUR LOT!!! Like I said, if its just this sensor, its such a cheap and easy job, AND THATS NOT EVEN THE POINT, FIX WHATEVER IS WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE RIGHT THERE AND THEN. My friend tells SEAN BEARD (MR FINANCE MANAGER), that she needs a 2nd opinion, and they offer to let her keep the car and return it the next day. The next day, takes the car back and tells SEAN BEARD, "Hey, this car is not for me, I am not interested". All of a sudden, with the customer not interested in spending her hard earned money, SEAN BEARD, says "hey, how about this, we will fix the issue". Oh, all of a sudden you want to fix it, how about, "NO"!!!!! should have said that when your mechanic told you initially what the problem is. If this is how MAPLEWOOD AUTO MALL does business with their customers, I promise you people, you do not want any part of this place. SEAN BEARD IS PUTTING THIS PLACE IN THE GUTTER!!!! DAMN SHAME!!!!

Since you cant give no stars they got one. Guarenteed financing....i have rough credit but they were able to get it done.....not for the car I told them I wanted. I gave Earl all the information he needed about the car. He said we will get on it and will have an answer for you by the end of the day. Finally got the call. Everything was set to go and wanted us to come down the next day. Told us we could not come down that night because he didnt have any of the figures in front of him and the finance manager left for the day(4pm on a wednesday). So we went down after work today to pick up the car. We get there and he pulls around a car completely different make model, color as the one we wanted. His justification for it was the car we wanted didnt have a very good resale value and I should just come take a look at what they could sell me. I spoke with their extremely arrogant sales manager and he acted like there was no problem with anything that had happened and i should just take their deal. While sitting in the parking lot getting ready to leave we check their website. The car we wanted to buy was magically gone and the car they tried to sell us was roughly $2000 more. Im glad they were able to get me financed with my current situation but they are very scandalous and willingly with-hold information from you in order for you to walk through the door. I will never return much-less drive past them again and would not refer anyone to purchase from them.
