I dont normally leave reviews about stores but I feel the need to leave one about this place. Let me premise the review by first saying that my wife and I shop at Karm stores very frequently because we do find good deals, and we know our money is going towards a good cause. So on that note, I will continue to shop at Karm. However, this store has the unfriendliest staff of any Ive ever been too. They do not give the typical "welcome to Karm stores" welcome that you receive at the other stores. My wife used to work at the one on Sherlake, and they always greet people, even if it is busy at the register. This store....they will stare right at you upon entering (waiting on no one mind you) and not say a word. There is one older lady that often works the front counter, and I swear I think her face would crack if she smiled. Ive noticed that other staff members will walk right past you, while they are putting out merchandise, and not even look at you, much less say hello. In fact, there have been a few occasions when a worker would almost step right in front of me to put something on the shelf. Like I was in their way! These are supposed to be Christian people on a mission to spread the love of Christ, and you cant even smile or say hello to someone? Now-a-days our world needs businesses where Gods light shines brightly. Sadly, this store does not fit the bill. Heck, I think Ive gotten friendlier service shopping at some of the secular stores at the mall! But again, I know ultimately my money is going toward something worthwhile by shopping at Karm despite the sour attitudes of the folks that work there.
I have never in my life bought a couch from a store and not had any help to get the couch out of the store! My mother bought a couch there this morning and told the lady we would be back in a few hours to get. She said thats fine you have two days to pick it up before it goes back on the floor and we cant not refund you the money. So we get back a few hours later to pick up the couch with a double recliner (which is super heavy). Only for the guy working to tell us they are not allowed to help us. As Im fighting this this thing trying to get it to the door a working walks around me carrying a table outside that someone just bought. Everything in that place is over priced so lets top it off with some bad costumer service. I will not go back to another Karms!
Huge thrift shopper wherever I am visiting. Out of all the shops I have been to, I have never felt the need to make a complaint. This place is pretty pricey, but they had nice quality items. I had a basket full and placed an item back on the shelf. I was reprimanded by an employee on how I didnt find that there and needed to put it back where I found it. Absolutely ridiculous. People move things around all the time. I cant be to blame for someone picking something up before me and putting it on the "wrong" decor shelf. I ended up just leaving my basket and walking out.
I bought a couch cost around 160 dollars plus taxes , brought couch to my home , I sat on couch (((( creak broke easy ))) made me so very angry , and should bring couch back to Karm store to replace another couch or refund but they were not accept to replace another couch or refund . Hey , customers . Warning all of you to better not go shopping at any Karm stores because they always sell bad shape couches and furniture . Better advice for you go to yard sales . Karm stores is seriously SUCKS big time and hope that business go down someday !
Im from out of state and I came here to check this out there buddy told me about it absolutely the worst experience Ive ever had at thrift store the people that work here are rude and they act like everybodys going to steal something not helpful everything overpriced I can see this is not actually a good donation like Goodwill this is let me get all the money I can from people give us free stuff that I can sell and not to mention Tennessee are the most damned rude Unholy people Ive ever met in my life
Absolutely overpriced. The stuff theyre selling was donated and theyre charging $9.99+ for almost 75% of all clothing. If rather not dig around in crap for an hour to pay $30 for 3 items. Ill be going to Walmart because, as a person with a tight budget looking to clothe myself and family, I cannot afford to shop at a thrift store... A thrift store is too expensive, what a joke. Stop giving places like this business, it just encourages them to keep stomping on people.
Es un lugar que recibe donaciones desde ropa hasta artículos para el hogar para luego venderlas a bajos costos y recaudar fondos dar comida y ayuda a los mas necesitados! Muchos de sus empleados son voluntarios! Excelente labor!
Its always got an interesting selection of all kinds of used goods. Most of the goods themselves are actually in quite good condition. They sell everything from used clothes to used outdoor goods! The prices are always great for the quality, as well! I highly recommend to anyone on a budget.
Karm stores are very overpriced, but you can find nice quality items in there stores. If you get a coupon, the shopping experience is better. They train the workers to overprice the products. Although, they do a lot to help the poor, upper management and the execs get there Share.
Great place to find a great deal! Always find good books.99¢ nice furniture.Very clean store workers and volunteers very friendly. Has a upstairs when I went in didnt even look like a thrift store because they have it set up so nice.
Its really hit or miss on what youll find here. Theyre one of the better thrift stores though. And if youre ever in need of court mandated community service, this place is flexible with hours and will sign off on your court form
This KARM store has a large area for furniture and most of it is in good shape. They can be pricey as far as thrift stores go but it is well organized, maintained, and clean.
If you want your money to help people in need, buy the recycled items here. This location is huge and has 2 stories, lots of big items. And such a friendly, helpful staff.
Huge 2 story thirft store....Plants, furniture and of course clothes....One of the nicer ones.....They are however a little pricey compared to other second hand stores..
Plenty to pick from. Large parking area. Prices are a little high but it is a worthy cause. Non smoking, children are welcome, staff are very well mannered and helpful.
The prices were surprisingly very high for a second hand store. There were nice things but for the price I could have bought them new. Ended up not buying anything.
Clean nicley organized store. Great quality selection and great prices. Plus you can shop for a cause. Staff is as friendly as they could be...love shopping here!
