This is the store closest to my house so it is the most convenient for me. I recently got into having aquariums so I get most of my fish stuff here. I stopped by this store after work last week to buy 3 Black SKirt Tetras. I was looking at the fish and no one was there to help. I patiently waited until someone arrived. A lady walked by and saw me standing there and just walked into their fish room behind the tanks. I think ok she will be with me in a moment. While the lady was in the back a total of 12 people were waiting at the fish area after me. Finally someone came to help. Before I could even mention I was first. a group of 3 gets helped. no problem. I just continued to look at the fish. now the lady is helping another person. Ok. Im thinking Im next. Nope she ends up helping out ALL 12 PEOPLE before me... Im getting frustrated at this point. The girl finally comes to me and says Sorry I have to go my shift has ended. Really!!!??!!?? So I wat a few minutes and the dog trainer guy comes and finally helps me. He grabs the ornament out of the water and sets it on the top rack....(who does that) and gets my 3 fish. Puts literally no air in the bag and I checkout., Luckily the fish survive and are still alive today. This has been the worst experience I have had at this store EVER. The other departments are pretty good. I warn you to stay away from the fish department. they do not know what they are talking about and do not care for the fish. Oh and like a review before me said they only have MAX 2 regristers open at all times. You have to wait forever to get checked out . I would of gave this 0 stars but you cant.

Each time Ive called for grooming services, the staff answer in a very bothersome way. There is signage that welcomes walk ins but that is definitely not the case so that signage should not even be displayed because it upsets the customer if its misleading and then the staff begins to get all defensive when asked about it. I made an online appointment with 1 week advance, even received a text confirmation after making appointment and as my appointment neared. I get to my appointment and was not seen because staff said I didnt have an appointment. I left work early, they didnt care, plus it was about 4 pm so its not like I was there 1 hr before they closed and my pet needed a simple bath. Very irritated that this is the nearest grooming in my area after the groomer I took my pets to closed. Time to find another groomer even if I have to drive far... Very unprofessional that is all, consideration, proper online schedule and removal of false services would be great. Thanks

Ive taken my dog twice to the grooming salon and every time I go one of the ladies named Vicki always gives me bad attitude. The first time, I booked an appointment to trim my dogs hair and when I went, they said I never booked it but I even got the email confirmation about the date, I left that day angry because of the sarcastic way they treated me. I went in today and they told me the same thing. The same lady who gave me attitude before acted as if I was stupid. I was just not gonna put up with it today. So I had to come back home and look for a different groomer. That will be the last time I go for pet services. But as for the store, I will gladly shop there, I always get greeted by the employees and get asked if I need help.

I dont normally write reviews, but in this case I had to. Everyone at this store went above and beyond to help me yesterday with the new dog I rescued from a shelter. My dog had gotten sick in my car, and had also chewed through his leash. One of the sales people helped me get my dog into a harness and leash, and also gave me some paper towels to help clean my car. I was given a coupon book which saved me quite a bit of money. There was a Blue Buffalo rep at the store who gave me a free bag of dog food just to be nice. The dog groomers were incredibly sweet and worked hard to bathe my dog, despite his being scared and agitated. Thank you Petsmart!!

walked in to this place and was greeted by a employee who took me to the rabbit section because i did not know where the isle was..i was then told that "rabbits are stupid pets why are you getting a rabbit?" i had to listen to this employee talk about how bad rabbits are and i didnt even ask his opinion... ontop of the fact that the hamsters had 2 dead bloody hamsters in the cages with them and nobody seemed to care... priced this place against petco and petco is much cheaper, please do not shop here your overspending for the same products! Three of their registers havent been used since their grand opening. To save money, they keep a short handed staff at all times, so customers have to wait and wait and wait and wait and wait.... Ive now been on hold for twelve minutes as they keep transferring all over the store. Its not like other major chains where if the line gets too long, they call someone to open another register. Ive seen them open two registers max. And Ive seen one of their employees get rude or frustrated with a customer on a few occasions. Theres no way that store doesnt make enough profit to have three registers operation at any given time.

The staff was friendly, but the prices were a little high. $8 for a dropper is a little ridiculous. We went to Walmart and got a syringe dropper with graduations for $2. I would come here for the things you cant get other places. They do have a vet and cleaners here. For that I give them 4 stars

Big Box pet store. They do offer some reptiles, fish, small mammals and birds. Good selection of premium brand dog foods. Puppy training classes are available. Groomer and Vet inside. There is not any boarding at this location

The store was clean and organized but they have 3 tanks with a lot of dead fishes and the rest of the fish did not looked in good conditions :( and this is unacceptable , they should fix this or stop selling fish at all.

Expensive and employees dont know much about proper pet care, but its the closest place around I can quickly get the supplies I need. I repeat, they know nothing about caring for fish, just selling them.

Great place for fish stuff. Price are par to other pet stores around DFW. Just wish they had the $1 per gallon fish tank sales like Petco. Also wish they would stock Saltwater fish and corals.
