Short version: Dont use their groomers. Rude, poor quality of work, and no showing of love for animals youd expect from such a store. The last time we had our two dogs groomed, we were charged for a nail cutting and basic grooming, but one of them had only the front paws nails cut, and the other had no nails cut at all. When my wife questioned the state of the nails, they claimed to have done them, despite the fact that we could easily see they were the same length they had been previously. This most recent time, however, sealed it. Refused to groom my older dog, despite grooming him in the past. He is skittish and has problems with kennels (he is a rescue dog that we adopted at a PetSmart event) but in the past PetSmart always said we could have him groomed as long as we paid extra for an express grooming first thing in the morning so he wouldnt have to go into a kennel. Called to set up a grooming this time, they said they had notes saying they wouldnt groom him because of his skittishness, no mention of the previous arrangement, nor any sympathy towards a rescue dog that they had groomed many times in the past two years. When I mentioned that they had previously groomed him with the above arrangement, the groomer said shed have to ask her manager about it, in a tone denoting that I should just accept what she said. I told her to go ahead and ask since I had been taking my dog there for a long time, and she seemed irritated that I would ask her to talk to her manager about this. When she came back, she expressed no apology for being unable to groom my dog, merely stated the manager confirmed they would not groom him. Nothing to tell me why they changed their minds, no mention of a change in policy, nothing but the most basic of a no.

We came in today a couple hours before they closed. We had to leave Max there and got a call from them 15 minutes before they closed. The doctor claimed she called to see if we wanted him to get the stich he needed. So I called back when i realized i gotten the phone call like 5 minutes later, and she said, " that since they were about to close theres nothing they can do, and that we should take him to the hospital all the way to forth worth to get helped. We were furious!! They charged us for the visit, which we thought would be covered since we are in a plan. Plus our poor puppy has to stay the night like this. The worst thing is that they could have helped him, but they are so focused on leaving they sent us away.

I had an appointment for 1:30. I got there early but it was for nothing. They had me down for 12:30 and said they had canceled my appointment and they had too many dogs to take mine. It was pouring down rain...even though I had an umbrella...I got soaked. It was not a fun trip!! One groomer was so rude that I specifically ask that she not groom my dog if I made another appointment. The other girl was not friendly or apologetic in the least. It was their error not mine. She did say they had been having trouble with the new system. I made another appointment but after thinking about it, Im just going to find another groomer.

Well I have been to the grooming section now twice and each time they give me the hardest time about making a decision on how we are going to cut my dogs hair. They even said if they start and it doesnt work out I still have to pay full price. I told them the style and ask for guidance but they confused me even more. I just think I will take my dog elsewhere because of how they are unsure themselves. I need a groomer that will help me understand what they are doing

First of all I have been coming here for years. Recently it has taken a turn for the worse. We took both of our dogs there to get santa pics done and never received the photos. Then two weeks ago I took my 8 year old chorkie to get groomed as I have the past several years but this time she got pink eye in both eyes afterwards and now has a hot spot under her arm. Sheis my baby so I will be finding a different place to get her groomed.

The store has a variety of things for several different animals, and the dogs section has everything I ever need. The prices are competitive with online sites with shipping charges so it is easy to stop by and grab a new toy or some dog treats when i am close. The staff has always been super friendly and knowledgeable about their products. The store is always clean and never has any pet smells. They also do pet adoption drives.

I went to this store for a puppy frisbee and a clicker training tool. I walked out with SO much information and tips that really helped me understand how to train and play with my dog. Even though this place is about a 30 minute drive and I pass by 3 other petsmarts on my way there, I am for sure coming back to get my dog trained by the trainer named "Dallas" he is amazing! very knowledgable and very good at explaining things.

Petsmart has an insect infestation problem with their dog foods. Rather then sharing this and doing a clean out of their distribution centers they are opening bags, checking and resealing. They checked ours...and missed the infestation. My dogs have been sick for almost a week now. It took me forever to figure out why. I wont buy food from a Petsmart again. If you do please check it for something that looks like spider web.

Walked in 20 minutes to close to grab a leash, harness, food, and toys for the puppy we just adopted 30 minutes earlier. The staff was friendly and didnt pressure us to hurry up or push us out of the door and I didnt see them doing that to anyone else either even though the store still seemed slightly busy. We found everything we needed and even scored the harness on sale (yay!). Would definitely return.

Despite being next to a mall, this Petsmart is a little bit out of the way. As a result, they often have items that a lot of the other stores are out of stock on. My suggestion would be to call the 1-800 number or get on the website and check if the item youre looking for is here. If so, it can be ordered and held for you. Happy shopping!

The people who work in the grooming section is really bad, no people skill, very bad customer service, the management really need to do something about it, and get nice people working in the grooming department; otherwise grooming area is going to drive all the customers away from the store!!!

worst ever. every time i take my dog they tell me that my dog is pregnant & they cant groom her. horrible grooming staff. ive had to pay a vet twice because they assume my dog is pregnant & she wasnt. i will stick to driving to glade or lincoln square for my puppy.
