This store is so infested with bugs that many of my friends and family have had to return food because when we opened it bugs were crawling everywhere. Seriously I went there on the 29th or so and the guy who was helping me looked unkempt shirt not tucked in and was slurring his speech so badly I could hardly understand him. Half the time the prices are wrong or mislabeled which they will inform you when you have already picked it out and are ready to check out. Talk about bait and switch! They never order enough of the popular food so half the time I go in they are out of what I use but they say it will be here in a week but it never is maybe 3 weeks later they finally get some but forget to call me.Their pet beds are 3 to 4 time more expensive than any other pet store. The only good thing it the quality of food that is carried is great if I find anywhere else that I can get the food I use I will never go to pet supplies "plus" ever again

I dont know why "Ashley" is so critical over Pet Supplies Plus in Plano on Legacy. I have been going there to buy food and other items for my pets since 2006 and have never seen a single insect in the food. The staff are clean, professional and helpful, the food is very fresh, the store is well stocked and they have things on sale regularly. I have been very pleased. Also, I have never had a problem with returning any food or other item even if I had already used it or opened it. One of my dogs is allergic to a lot of foods so there was much trial and error and they let me return bag after bag which they donate to shelters. Also, I bought a ferret cage which later I found was not strong enough for my very large male ferret and he tore up part of it, but the store took it back with no problem at all. I think if you are considering visiting this store, you should at least give it a try and see for yourself.

I went here a couple of days ago because I just adopted a puppy. Let me tell you, THE BEST customer service Ive ever received. There was a young lady, didnt remember her name but she basically told me everything I need to know from training the puppy to deciding food based on calories and development. I bought a kennel, biggest bag of Canidae food they had, training treats, leashes, toys, teething bones, perfume, brushes, and more and spent $150.00. That is a steal! And I was skeptical on which size kennel to buy since my puppy is a mix and not sure how big she will get. The associate informed me that if she out grows the kennel months later, their motto is "We never tell the customer No" and that i could exchage or return it months later. I will never shop at any other pet supply again. Pet Supplies Plus is the best and my new puppy is spoiled, already learning her training. Happy dad here!

**cheap shots here once/month!!! I have a dog, 2 cats, & a turtle(RES) & I adore this pet store, mainly due to their friendly, helpful, & knowledgeable staff- a staff who continuously saves me money! One time I had a lively conversation with a cashier about our pets, and when she found out i have a turtle she showed me some clearance items essential for turtles at rock bottom prices! Another time I was about to buy a medicine for my 4 yr old cats urinary tract issues & one of their employees said the medicine was great, but had i tried feeding him cranberries? CRANBERRIES! Since they are great about returns I bought the medicine as well, because he is a finicky eater (CAT!) and when he refused the cranberries, the meds worked brilliantly. Also its the only pet supply Ive found that carries the one thing that helps my 16 yr old cats diarrhea.

You cant compare the level of customer service and knowledge that the employees at Pet Supplies Plus have to any of their competitors. They raise and surpass the bar. Every time I go in everyone greets you with a smile and friendly attitude. I just returned a bag of dog food that had a slight infestation of meal worms (more than likely acquired at the manu. plant) and the manager comped me a higher quality brand to show how much they care. I wont go anywhere else for my pet needs, this place is great.

Love this place. Great selection of dog and cat foods and they sell raw frozen dog and cat food for the more natural organic pet feeder. Dog toys seem very expensive here but they have a cool selection. Food pricing is always better than other box stores. Staff is friendly and they have a self serve dog wash in the back. Also there is a mobile vet booth for routine visits like puppy vaccinations etc. Pretty cool place. Clean and well lit. Good location.

When calling to see if they carried what food I needed the sales clerk was tremendously helpful and promptly found the food, the different bag sizes and all the prices. Then when we had questions the staff was more than happy to answer all our questions and even walked with us to show the good and bad of each item we had a question on. We will now only go here, not just because it is close, but because of the kind and eagerly helpful staff!

this store has almost everything that you need for a pet. however, if your dog has a special dietary need, like a grain free diet, you may not find everything here, even though this chain is called pets supplies plus. we tried to find a can of nutro ultra can puppy dog food, and found that they dont carry it. if you can increase the number of pet products you offer, that would be amazing. and the crickets in the store are pretty noisy

We love taking our dogs to pet supplies plus. The staff is great, friendly and always helped us with our many questions. They also helped us find the right food to help with our oldest dogs food allergies. They have a great selection of toys and accessories for our dogs. We only shop here and recommend it to everyone.

Not a terrible place, but compared to Petco or Petsmart they have very limited selection and low quality items. Only reason I went here was because of a coupon I received, but I probably wont come back since there are much better places to shop for my pets.

I wish we had ventured in sooner. Great selection of natural pet food, friendly staff, and the self-serve dog wash is clean and in good repair. They provide shampoos towels, and dryers. I believe there are three bathing stations.

Friendly staff and great selection. Many more choices for higher end foods than the other big box stores and the prices are better too. They also carry a nice variety of bird, small animal and reptile supplies.

The lady that checked me out was wonderful and gave my dogs treats which made my little one more comfortable. He was nervous. But overall, great staff and I will continue to give them my business. :)

When we asked where the crickets are the cashier got someone to get them for us and bring them to the front while we paid for them. Excellent service with lower prices than Petsmart and Petco.
