reviewed in the last week Sorry Google User who had chicken wings, we at Jewel pride ourselves on using only the finest old womans blue hair and selectively de-greased dirt particles. It is regrettable that we have recently experienced some difficulties at our old woman farm and have had to put down several of our prize grannies. Also, in order to keep costs down, we attempted to outsource our de-greased dirt particles to China. While this did not work out as expected, we are confident that we will find a new dirt vendor in Mexico. The security tabs on your hooch, unfortunately, were left on intentionally by one of our fun loving, practical joke pulling, employees. She said you looked like you were knee deep in quicksand when you walked and wanted to see you walk back into the store. We reviewed the security camera footage at the weekly store meeting and I will simply say that the Starbucks double espresso shooting from my nostrils only served to throw gas on your fire of comedy genius. Once again, we are sorry for any inconvenience and hope you will try our store again the next time you feel the urge to get juiced and stuff yourself with dirty, hairy chicken wings.

This store in many ways has worst service. Label with price was wrong. In other groceries cashier will honor price on label. In this store cashier refused to make adjustments. Then I asked for store manager. That person claimed to be only shift manager, and needs to make phone call to store manager for price adjustment. I did not wait for phone call and left store without buying that item. I kept using store for convenient location. Similar thing happened again. Again price mismatch, again price check. On top of that bag handler throw pack of eggs like its gym and not grocery store. Also placed eggs in same bag along with heavy juice. I was worried that eggs will broke. Luckily eggs were safe. Still unpleasant experience. I do not expect any apologies from store. Probably they need to place few phone calls to understand if something went wrong. Very bad experience. If it was not convenient location, I never would use this store again.

this store is well stocked, clean with everything you could possibly want in a grocery store, but If you want to come across one of the worst customer service experiences of all palatine please feel free to walk into this jewel I am typical a paranoid person but the dirty looks I receive here at this store are frequent and down right disrespectful. they hire fresh face teens. that talk about costumers behind their back. I get its teenage nature to goof off at work and crack jokes but numerous times they had me feel alienated. and I used to go to the store a lot and built somewhat of a reputation but not a positive one by little to no wrong doing on my part . maybe its just me I dont know.

I finally was able to get the app going so I could take advantage of the free items Jewel offers, unfortunately they were out of the three items I would have liked. They did have a substitute for two of the items, but not for the coconut water which I would have liked to try. It was a disappointing visit.

Smaller market-place Jewel that is convenient for those in and around Downtown Palatine. While not having the upscale look-and-feel of Marianos or Whole Foods, the updated produce section does fine. Within walking distance of many condos and townhomes, its location and convenience is its greatest advantage.

This is a standard Jewel that has been around for a long time. Its a smaller store than most so the selection is more limited than what youd find at a Marianos or even at a newer Jewel that has replaced the recently closed Dominicks stores. If you need the basics though, this will work.

My chicken wings had old womans white hair and greasy dirt particles in them, not to mention the last time I came they left the security tabs on my bottles of vodka so I had to come back to have them taken off!
