Ive been to my fair share of grocery stores but this by far has to be the most pathetic and rude. Not only have I shopped there but Ive worked there as well and let me tell you, if you ever knew what happened behind scenes in that place you would cringe. If you buy dairy, frozen or meat from here beware!! I can HONESTLY tell you, they leave these products out for HOURS before putting them back in the cooler or stocking them for people to buy! DISGUSTING! You are eating contaminated food that could give you salmonella, Ive witnessed this first hand. Not only do they contaminate their product but the manages are very rude as well. There is no respect for their employees and many employees with families get their hours cut and are told to work faster or they will be written up. So many people have tried complaining to corporate but the store director, MINESH PATEL stated openly that no manager or employee shall be allowed to submit a complaint to corporate except for himslef. So he basically disregards all complains and worries that you may have. Terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE store director as well as scum management. Please do yourself a favor and just go across the street to Wal-Mart, I can assure you meijers prices are NO better and it is not worth you or your children getting a horrible sickness from the contaminated food they sell at Meijer. 5 staff members including the store manager couldnt figure out how to find the wasabi sauce behind the counter for the new sushi bar they have. Its an ingredient they put in almost every single pre-made sushi entrè. So its not that they dont have any. It was they didnt want to look. They were very quick to just say no instead of genuinely trying to help a customer. Laziness is a poor quality to have when providing customer service. The initial person was also quite rude and snappy. I rarely ever ask for assistance at Meijers, but I would have thought they would have at least tried or been polite or even find someone capable of helping. I was quite put off by their lack of customer service and rudeness that I am seriously considering shopping at the Walmart across the street.

The worst visit.......ever!!!!! Waited in line for 28 minutes tonight. The customer in front of me had issues with purchasing the proper item to be able to use the coupon she wanted to use. Worse part about it was the fact that the Cashier spent Soooo much time on this customer, didnt shut down the register to complete that customers order, got locked out of her register, and when she finally waited on me, she didnt even say, "sorry for the delay to me, thx for your patience"!!! Wont be going bk there any too soon! Will just go to my neighborhood Walmart. Forget about it!!!!

Great food, unfair wait. I have eaten here twice and both times those who are not Asain get a table after those who are. Two women who we Asain got out of their car, came in and within 2 minutes were seated. I saw them exit the car because I went outside to take a call. I have also seen customers who have reservations been seated by being called for a reservation. The food is very good but the unfair seating practices make the experience unpleasant. If you are Asain I would suggest you eat here, otherwise dont waist your time unless you have lots of time to waist.

We often purchase goods at this location. Unfortunately, many items we like are overpriced. Most of the time we get store cupons at the register, after we pay. I wish those cupons were good for products we buy. Also, a coupon for $5.00 if I spend $100.00 at the store is not that useful for me because I only buy some produce and groceries. The MPerks program sometimes has a couple useful deals. The pharmacy and customer service desk employees are top notch. These guys deserve 5 stars.

I have made a number of trips to the store, the sections l have gone into, there seem to be no one there to ask for help. You wonder around until You find what You are looking for. I am sure that store is well equipped to deal with shoplifting, but when it comes to welcoming customers and letting them know that they are appreciated, because the customer could have taken their business else where, thst is lacking.

Have shopped at Meijer since they opened up in St Charles years ago. Now, I live nearest the Arlington Heights store. I enjoy shopping here, and the convenience of a big grocer open 24 hours is incredibly awesome and very helpful to me. I save a lot shopping here as well. Here and there Ill be disappointed if sale items are sold out, or if my perks dont work, but I handle that by emailing them at home.

Meijer – Rolling Meadows, Il – 3-20-2016 This is my first time ever in a Meijer store… The store is huge… Produce looked really fresh as did the meat in the meat department. Today I was there to buy avocados for the week… All of the people there are really friendly and I even got one of them to give me a Meijer baseball cap! I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area. Thank you.

Great place to shop for produce and other things. But I do not like to buy there meat there. There is not enough Organic free roam, grass fed meat. I did not like how the meat was presented with clear plastic wrap and white tags, it looked cheap to me, The steaks looked bad and over priced, I get better meat and Walmart !! So I go to Meijer for Produce , bread , etc, and get my meat else where

The workers here are friendly and assisting, the store is clean, and the food is fresh and plentiful. But all Meijer stores will get 5 stars from me because there are so many ways to save money here. Get the mPerks, save your coupons, watch for sales. You can regularly turn a $100 shopping trip into a $70 or even a $60 trip if youre really trying.

I have been shppping there for years.People who work there are very polite and helpful. There is a lady from europe who wworks in the bakery section so she was very helpful.I was looking for a birthday cake but they did not have one with pink flowers ready so that lady told me if i have couple minutes she will make me one.Very nice .Thank you!

Meijer has great produce, baked goods, and deli selections on top of the standard super market items. Their prices are usually significantly cheaper than the other big supermarkets in town. They also carry a full assortment of electronics, toys, clothes, etc similar to Walmart, but at a higher quality (and price).

Im sad the one in Des Plaines clsed down so recommended to go there I liked this just as much as the one in Des Plaines. Very good selection in food,produce,meat and they goods shopping section too its like Walmart but,slighted smaller selection in items.When ever in the area again I will.come here.

They have a great wine and beer selection and their produce is always fresh and varied. Excellect selection of PS, Xbox and Wii games. Pharmacy people are very helpful and friendly - when I wasnt sure where something was, they led me over to where it was on the shelves.
