I am not a huge fan of this shop. I am a Yamaha guy but I do not think I will be coming to these guys anymore. I am never greeted when I come into the store and have to stand there staring at employees before I get any help. I have never had anything serviced here, as I do all my own mechanical work, but the parts department does not seem very knowledgeable or willing to go the extra mile to help. I was looking for shock oil and was told to use S1 which is a fork oil, not a shock oil. Then when I went in to pick it up I was given O1 fork oil, which is still not shock oil. After researching on the internet, I learned O1 wasnt even the right fork oil for it, it was for bikes older than mine. Just asking them which oil to use seem to cause lots of confusion and I feel like the answer I got was just a guess. I also went in a while back looking for a clutch lever as I had broken mine. When I told the employee what I was looking for (after tracking an employee down) I was told, "Theyre over there..." and was waved over to a parts shelf. No more help was offered and the clutch levers they had in stock were terrible.

Bought a new Yamaha 950 from these guys a few weeks back, and have nothing but good things to say about the experience. The salesman, Shane Nye, was knowledgeable and completely up front with me through the processes of choosing and financing a bike, and when I stopped in a month after I signed to pick up some assorted accessories, he immediately remembered my name and exactly what Id bought. In my vehicle purchasing experiences prior, Ive spent more to get less and been treated less well every time. These guys love motorcycles and it shows. I checked out the other dealerships in the area too, and I can tell you that while you may have to go somewhere else if youre after a specific bike they dont have, youll enjoy the whole process a lot more if you can bypass all the chaff and buy from Careys. Did I mention I got a stellar deal? Cause I got a stellar deal. I paid 30% less than msrp with $1000 worth of extras even with lousy credit. Try em. Theyll take good of you. Edit: But dont go to them for service. Theyll never be done when they say, and itll cost you more than anywhere else.

Well Im not real sure yet I just dropped off my vstar 1100 to get a new starter clutch. As of right now the lady up front at the service department was nice enough. But well see what happens next. Im really hoping I dont get screwed.... its now March 16, 2017. And so far its been an absolute nightmare, not at all happy.. I will never used careys cycle ever again. They had my bike for 2 12 weeks supposibly did a bunch of work to it. Starter clutch, cleaned up the carbs, and replaced the throttle cable when I got my bike back it was running worse then it ever has. I had to sync the carbs and but in new plugs so why did I pay them 1200 dollars? So I could finish the work! What a joke.

Worst experience ever. They had my kids 4-wheeler for 2 months the first time and promised it within 2 weeks. I had to call them everyday and ask them if it was done yet and I always got the exact same answer- "Ill have my guy throw it on the stand today". Once I got it back, it was in worse shape then when I dropped it off. It went in for a carburator clean and now it has an oil leak. Once again they promised it within 2 weeks. It has now been 6 weeks and they still have not even looked at it. Worst organization I have EVER dealt with. Stay away at all costs!

Theyll give you a bogus timeframe to get you in. I cant attest to the quality of their repairs yet, as the bike has been there nearly 4 months. The excuse is deferring lack of parts to their supplier, "backordered," "havent received anything," "let me call and check and give you a call back in five to ten minutes." They did call back one out of four times... Take your bike here for repairs if you want to save on registration tax, itll be sitting there all riding season. TLDR: False promise on time, poor supply chain for parts, poor communication.

This is a family owned and operated business, and it shows. Everyone here is friendly and will help you with whatever you need. They make you feel like they actually care about you and your needs, and not just money. Ive bought a four wheeler and a motorcycle from them, had them serviced, bought parts from them. The always have been very helpful and knowledgeable. A nice little local motorcycle shop and locally owned. I will always shop here and get my bikes serviced here. I love doing business here!!!

Love these guys. They sold me an awesome used motorcycle for a really great price. They also do a great job in ordering parts for me and are always there to answer my questions which are frequent :) Keep up the great work everyone! 9-25-2014: I just had some extensive service done to my pride and joy bike and I must say these guys are great! They kept me updated all the time and communicated very well with email. Truly a job well done. In a world of compromise, some businesses dont.

Avoid!!! These guys are a terrible bunch of jerks that wont service your bike when its supposed to be under warrenty. Then it takes them forever to order anything for your bike! I would recommend you never go here! The salesmen are dishonest and the mechanics are a bunch of kids that dont care about ruining your expensive Bikes!

Parts department is horrible! long hold times they dont listen to what your looking for prepar to explain yourself more than once , I have worked with them a number of times and its always the same negative customer experience and everything is over priced. Take the five min drive to Layton Cycle its worth it.

I have been coming here for over 15 years. I love that this is a family ran business. They have always done everything possible to help me. We buy EVERYTHING through Careys. Thank you for ALWAYS offering great quick service and helping us whenever we have issues with our bikes.

Before I worked here at Careys Cycle I was always treated the way I would like to be treated and these days I continue that philosophy. We cant please everyone, but we sure try. A small "mom and pop" business doesnt stay in business for over 57 years without doing something right.
