Compared to the one on 3d Street, this store is just not as good. The main things that bother me are the fact that you have to shlep your groceries to the car or leave them in the cart while you go get your car. You are not allowed to take the carts into the parking area. The other is the customer service. I have voiced several suggestions and concerns to the management who does not seem to be listening or is too lazy to implement a change. Now, I understand that samples are free. I also understand that their purpose is to get customers to buy the product they represent. However, the samples are also not on a par with the other store. They are sparse and not replenished frequently leaving the service trays and juice machines empty. Why bother? Oops, they dont! The worst samplings are offered at the butcher shop where they offer meat samples that are dry, dry, dry and, therefore, hard as rocks. I almost choked on one, not exactly good for business. I wrote and expressed this to the manager in an e-mail. I was ignored. So, now, I am expressing the same publicly, hoping they might get the message. The next time I went back, I found the same dry meats, hard as a brick and stuck to the paper they were on in big, unappetizing dried out, black chunks. There was only one thing you could do with it, put it in the little bucket on the counter marked "trash." So, I did Perhaps the product is just not good either is the conclusion one might reach after this experience. It certainly does not make me want to purchase anything at the meat counter. What a turn off! This sort of presentation, if you can call it that, really does not sell anything except shoddy business practices, laziness and ineptitude. Either dont offer meat samples or keep them fresh is all Im saying, and listen to your customers! Business is all about relationships and community.

I am a 73 yr. old African American woman. I shop at Whole Foods all over the Country. The store in Beverly Hills is my favorite. However, my friends & I find that some of the customers think they are entitled to jump in front of minorities, like we are in the 1940s & 1950s. I am shocked someone has not hurt one of these disrespectful people. I was in there today I had 3 items & some woman acted like I was not in line & got in front of me. The cashier told her I was next & she said she only had two things. If she had asked me if she could go in front of me I would have said yes. I told her she should be careful because other people wont be so passive. The cashier a Hispanic told me not to worry she knew who was next. Many of my friends refuse to go there. I tell them they should not stay away because the staff will not tolerate this egregious behavior. Anyone having a problem should ask for Paul who will make sure you are always treated with respect. These people are insecure & miserable. They pretend having money is everything. They are not intelligent because a refined person would never behave this way.

This is the closest store to my home, yet I avoid it whenever possible. While Whole Foods is generally not the most hygienic place (I have visited at least 25 stores in several regions), this location tends to be filthier than most. And the staff is long on attitude and short on knowledge and courtesy. Many of them seem as though they have been smoking pot and the alert ones tend to be impolite and brusque. Both groups are about the least familiar with the stock of any WF staff I have encountered anywhere--notwithstanding the fact that this is the smallest WF in the area! In fairness, many if not most staff members are lovely; its just that the ones who arent have an impact that far exceeds their numbers, possibly because a couple of the worst ones are in "customer service" or management.

Recently moved here from the Bay Area and only shop at WF wherever I travel if they have one. I have never seen a WF this small. I have had to return chicken twice and the fish is often very dry/pasty looking. The bulk section has moths flying around and the store is often dirty. I live nearby and only go there when time is limited and I only need canned goods or veggies which seems to be the department that does get attention. For the most part the staff is reluctantly helpful. Take the time to go to the Westwoos or #3rd St locations. New management could turn these issues around but for now, what an embarrassment for Beverly Hills.

After I gathered all of my groceries, I went to check out. There were no lines and so I went to the first available lane. It was an express line so 12 items or less. I quickly assessed my items and figured I had right around 12 items and so it would be fine for me to checkout there. The cashier counted my items which were 14 and then kicked me out of the lane. By the time he actually counted them he could have rang everything up. I am highly disappointed with their service especially with no one in line or behind me

I got mixed feelings about this place. One of the smaller Whole Foods in the city with a very limited salad bar. The fresh juice is good, Im a fan of the Einstein and the wheat grass shots. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. But its very cramped and they dont have a lot of the same items as other stores. Its like the Target City version of Whole Foods. However, they do have a surprising beer selection. A lot of limited and rare releases like the sours and big IPAs.

So this is a 5-star rating because I always have a wonderful time here. However, Today I bought the grilled pepper sushi roll and the center was frozen.... I took a bite and it was ICE. So I think the service is amazing. I think the product the store offers is amazing. I come to lunch there most days out of the week.... That dang icy roll..... slight disappointment I will let it slide and will be returning Btw.. I would have returned it but I was already back at work.

This Whole Foods is not a great representation of the company at all. I actually dread making trips there to pick up lunch while Im at work. Their salad bar/hot bar is pretty pitiful. For example, today there was a sign for "chicken breast with lemon herb seasoning", not one piece of chicken was chicken breast. It actually looked like pieces left over from something else. Never enough staff to help. All around, not what you would expect from a Whole foods.

This whole foods is in BHills so you will get an entitled, intimidating crowd and its small. I rate 5 stars because this Whole Foods has the most helpful staff of any Whole Foods Ive shopped at. Everyone who works there is more than willing to help and will happily anwser any questions/look for products in back if none available on shelf. Great staff keep that good energy up!

We came into town and decided to get a quick bite. After we find the deli we make our selections as the slowest person ever makes our sandwiches. Fadi was his name I believe, not sure if its normal here to get high before work but that seems to be the only logical explanation for his speed. Literally took him 35 min to make three sandwiches.
