The savings from shopping at Aldi can be incredibly substantial, especially compared to Martins. Before moving to Winchester, I did most of my shopping at a Save-a-Lot and still had to make a stop into Martins every month or so. Let me say, Aldis is 10x better than Save-a-Lot in terms of quality. I love that they offer high quality stuff like organic produce and fair-trade coffee. Some of the more "specialty" stuff isnt always available, or is available on a limited time basis, so thats kind of a setback (stuff like kalamata olives, plain whole milk yogurt, etc.) But honestly, thats not worth me going back to Martins. Unfortunately, the closest store to me is Martins, so I will run there on occasion for essentials like milk if I wake up and realize Im out. But otherwise, I can plan a weekly trip to Aldis and cover everything Ill feed my family. If we are budget crunching, I can feed my family (2 adults, 2 kids) on less than $60 and still have fresh fruit and vegetables. Usually my bill is closer to $100, because I inevitably stock up on some limited time specialty items (they always have a great selection of frozen pizza) or pick out something from the non-grocery section. One final thing - when I was in high school I worked for a Martins type store as a cashier. We werent allowed to sit while on the register. Even at age 16, my back and feet would be dying after a full shift from standing the whole time. I like that Aldi lets their cashiers sit (and their checkout goes WAY faster than any other store). Plus, I think I saw a sign saying they were hiring associates for $12 an hour. Pretty sure Martins is like $8 an hour or less, which I find odd because their prices are SO much higher (they do have a gigantic selection, but I find Im happy with what aldi has.)

A really cool alternative grocery outlit. Theyre probably the only ones that doesnt use plastic bags and require you to bring your own bags to bag your groceries and probably the only place around where you have to put in change to use a grocery cart. Very well put, clean and offers some healthier alternatives and sometimes cheaper than just going to a regular grocery store. Also the service is really nice.

Theres always ample parking, the store is always clean and the employees are always friendly. I have never had a poor experience shopping here. The shelves are hardly empty, produce is fresh and crisp, and nothings out of date. I love that I can go in shop and be out in 30 minutes, and spend less than 100 on a months worth of groceries.

I love this store. Quality at low prices. Produce is wonderful, so much cheaper, and it doesnt spoil as soon as it enters you home as many others do. Of course, there may be some great items you love that wont be there when you go back, but some do circle back around. The non grocery section has great buys also

I go here before I go to the regular grocery store to collect what I can. It really helps us cut down on our grocery bill. The wine and beer section helps us out when we host parties. I try to go here with zero expectations, so I am always pleased with what I can replace from my regular grocery list.

I usually like to go here for my fresh milk and food. But today after I have travelled 10 miles to the store and get back home. I saw the receipt SEQ#034898 with checker #120 over charged me for duplicate at least for two items out of 59 items sold on 9/3/2014. dislike!!

Love Aldi! Convenient to 37 and 81. I love that the store isn’t enormous so I don’t have to walk a mile in my heels for work to get everything I need. Wonderful prices. I am a vegetarian with acid reflux and a low budget for food. Aldi lets me eat healthy for less.

The place was nice. My only complaint isbthat the cashier tossed our food items into the cart. I understand they try to be efficient, but when you just toss yogurt and then boxes of cereal on top, there is chances of things opening.

Incredible prices, especially on dairy and staples, snacks, juice, baking goods, etc. Clean store, fast check out. Items change weekly in a couple of aisles so theres always something new.
