I have some really awesome Brazilian neighbors - actually I lucked out with the neighbor lottery. Theyre all awesome. Anyway, they dont own a car and one of them had a birthday and needed to get a cake. It was late so I offered to take the wife here to get her husband a cake, some alcohol, and other party favors for one hell of a house party. Ralphs has a great bakery. We chose a decadent strawberry cake that tasted very fresh, got a great deal on alcohol, and lots of other stuff for only about $40 with my Ralphs card. Customer service is friendly because Villa Park is the like the upscale community out here. Theres a lots of old money in this area and its primarily white folks so yeah, its a little different out here but anyway...store is big, clean, and awesome. Ill be back!

The Villa Park Ralphs is a smaller store which I prefer. However due to its size there are a few items carried by larger stores that they dont have. I due encourage people to try Kroger Brand over name brands, they are generally priced better and I yet to find any item that is not equal to the name brands. I am disappointed in Ralph bakery prices. They dont put many items on sale. I am a senior citizen on a limited income so unfortunately I generally shop elsewhere for dessert items. Otherwise I feel there prices are better than other markets.

Stopped by one evening looking for fresh seafood and various other groceries. NICO at the meat shop was knowledgeable, professional and fast without rushing me. The salmon he recommended was fresh-tasting and easy to cook.... delicious salmon! Nico even wrote his name on the label, which only helped me remember who to look for on my next visits.

I had a problem with something I bought in the deli. Patty, one of the managers, made it more than right. Love shopping here. Wish I got the name of the the lady who rang me up. She was wonderful.

This Ralphs is somewhat smaller than a normal one, so they dont always have every brand. However if you have coupon for an item not there you can use it on a similar item.

Very expensive. Prices are double of other places. The ralphs card can help but why go through the trouble when other places dont require you to remember to use a card.
