Beautiful store, clean, and unbeatable prices! I had to edit my review to take into account Irene As astounding lack of understanding of how Aldi works… Aldi is a german grocery store. Instead of paying people to get carts for you, the carts take a quarter which you get back when you return them. Aldi does not pay people to bag your stuff for you. In Europe, NO ONE bags for you. Its really an idiotic concept that costs you much more money because prices go up. Aldi pays their employees well. In Kansas City where the minimum wage is about $7.40, Aldi pays its employes on average $15 per hour. You may not know, but regardless of the brand name, all your groceries generally come from the same place, the same plant. Aldi knows this and inserts its own random brand names on brand name products and slashes the price (youre welcome, you no longer have to bear the financial burden for trademarks). Aldi is one of the best known and most popular grocery stores in Europe and the American Midwest. If youre used to idiotic American practices like people chasing carts or paying someone to bag your groceries for you then I understand that this comes as a bit of a shock, but it is a FAR superior system and allows you to pay less for the exact same products. Youre welcome.

We came the day after the grand opening. We put in a quarter to get a shopping cart. It took a few seconds to figure it out. At the entrance, we were given a free shopping bag by a friendly employee. I wasnt too impressed when I walked inside. I started getting this 99 cent store feel as I was browsing through the aisles, but the prices were not 99 cents. There were many unknown brands. The organic produce selection is very small. The best brands there were Coca Cola and Naked Juice. As we were paying, the cashier was putting all the items in the cart, but not bagging them. I realized that we had to bag our own items where they have a counter along the front wall. As we were exiting the store, there was an employee offering to return the shopping cart, but my husband was going to take his quarter back so he returned it himself. He got a weird vibe from the guy. Not sure why there is someone standing there to return carts. Hed be more useful inside helping people bag their groceries. Not really impressed. I say it lasts a year or two.

I cant believe some reviews. " it was way more than .99". Dude, its not a .99 store. Also, we pay for the cost of pretty little shelves that require somebody to be paid to line up and face all that merchandise. Somebody would need to be paid to bag your groceries. If youre familiar with the prices of Ralphs, Vons, Pavillions, youd know the savings. No, its not stocked with national brands that pay millions of $ for advertising, thats why the prices are very low. Aldi has their own house brands. The quality is very good! As a single person, I spent $40 for the week. The meats were of very good quality and vacuum sealed, not saran wrapped. I had fat barbqued chicken thighs that fed 3 people and cost $4! Juicy tender pork chops (3) and not the wafer thin ones for $4.50, huge cut of salmon stake that fed 3 people, $7. I cant say enough. So enjoy your gnat filled .99 store.

I went to Aldi for the first time the other day! I am so excited to finally have a grocery store with affordable prices and great quality! If youre looking for name brand food, this is not your store! I hadnt heard of most of the brands but the quality is great and I have no complaints about their food! You stick a quarter in the shopping cart and get it back when you return it! Its great because it gives you a reason to return the cart which means no need for shopping cart attendants. You have to purchase bags and bag your groceries but I just bring reusuable bags and I can fit all of my groceries in a couple of bags and Im not wasting plastic! We needed this kind of store, I wont be going anywhere else to buy groceries!

The previous bad reviews are so ridiculously stupid and nonsensical. ALDI is exactly what California needs. Expenses are out of control and its getting harder to survive here so having a market with more than reasonable prices is so great! ALDI has proven over and over again why they are so successful. They obviously have excellent business sense that allows them to save the customer a lot of money. How anyone can complain about that defies logic.

I Like there specials on household items there prices are very good, there food prices are good on certain items they dont carry items that you can compare with each other in price, another thing is they only carry one name brand soda all other sodas are the off brand they should have more variety in sodas the other thing I I like is the area where you bag your stuff its steal long counter with a lot of room to bag your purchase

Yes, the selection of fruit and veggies are limited but if youre just looking for the standard items the price is cheap and the items are fresh. This was my first visit to the store since they opened more than a year ago. I will be back for the usual staples. 4 star only because of the limited selection. Bought avocados for 45 cents a piece. Vons and Stater Bros : $1 each.

Have shopped at Aldi in Germany and is exactly what I expected. Excellent prices with good quality. Aldis own brands even if unknown, are equivalent to the national brands in quality if not even better. The produce section, although limited, offers best quality at reasonable prices. By the way, one of the Aldis owns Trader Joe.

I love the lower prices. Dont expect to see many brand names here or a huge selection of produce, etc, that youd find in a chain. But the quality is great for the prices you pay. If youre a chocolate lover, theyve got a variety of German chocolates and a decent wine selection for this type of market.

Why do you open so Late? All the other grocery store open at 7:00am I love the store. I wish you opened at 7:00am like the other, Please thank about it when you need something early that you for got the night before you have togo to another store. Thank You

Be prepared for a different shopping experience. It stats with a deposit of .25 cents for a shopping cart. Once you gotten past that you now are in store for mostly their selection of their brand compared to named items. Although they do carry them as well.

Good prices on their own versions of national brands as well as great prices on fresh produce and meats. Especially check out the dairy prices. Bring a quarter for your shopping cart and your own bags; youll bag your own groceries after you pay.

Ive often come to this new market Aldi to get my favorite fresh fruits because they have good quality of produce and great prices. Last Tuesday (5/9/17) my Aldi receipt was $5.09 for all the fruits that I got. Great deal!
