Fell in love with Whole Foods back then in NYC and DC, especially with their deli (coming from a haute-cuisine country, its a compliment). Shopped at the old Tustin location (quite a trek), had high expectations for the new store at the District as the deli then was so-so. Deli at the new one sucks quite big time. Staff doesnt seem to know much about the products in their own department. Meat and fish look not so fresh probably because nobody buys and it just sits there (99 Ranch have the best fish selection at unbeatable prices in the area). Went today only because I was at the District, waited in line at the fresh meat counter to be served and the stupid staff serves the person who just turned up ("whos next?", raised my hand and was ignored despite having been there for some time behind the other only customer that the other staff was helping). They need training in their products and manners, especially lose the arrogant I-work-in-a-high-end-groceries-store attitude. Things are overpriced too (some frozen dessert went up $2 since the last time I bought it in December). My household spends $$$ weekly in groceries as I cook everything from scratch with fresh ingredients, you wont find me spending my money at Whole Foods anymore, today was the last straw. Skip the parking/driving nightmare and stick to Traders Joe/Sprouts/Costco.

Bad--the employees in general. Worse--the selection of "organic" produce (more specifically, the lack thereof) Worst--getting ripped off time and time again by "mislabeled" prices. If you ask why the lettuce is scanning as $3.99 when the price label (with matching UPC and all) in the aisle said $3.49, you are basically asking to: (1) put up with the cashiers attitude and exasperated *SIGH*; (2) wait 15 minutes for someone to verify that there was a discrepancy between the scanned price and the labeled price; and then (3) leave the store somewhat confused as to whose fault this really was due to employee rudeness and lack of apology. I would be okay with keeping quiet if Whole Foods were okay with, say, letting people off the hook if he or she were short $0.50 at the register. Everyone knows Whole Foods would never do that, right? (Rhetorical question.)

I have been going to WF about twice a week for last 2 years. I have noticed that WF has been slowly going down hill. Their quality of employees and prepared food has become subpar. The salad bar has wilting green, running out of items in the evening, hot food bar with over cooked items. No wonder they are being sold to Amazon. Employees either dont know what they are doing or very few workers especially at cashier line which creates long lines. Employees really doesnt seem to be working to be there and it shows. Employees also looks you down if you use their own coupon in their app. if you dont have the app logged on, they will make you wait in that long line again. WF no longer have customer service and thats too bad since i have been going there since it opened as biggest WF in the world.

What I like about whole foods is that you find majority of what you need organic. Again, good stuff arent always cheap. Here it was cool to see a nice girl walking around offering me a sample of cottage cheese and kindly showed me where it was located in the cold section. And few aisles down there was a kind lady offering a me taste of local made spaghetti sauce to me. Id say both were kind and friendly. Whats neat about this place is that there are seating areas around for you to enjoy hot meal brought from their food stand or pre-made selection food that you can put in a togo container and eat it there. Another cool thing I saw is that you can grind your very own peanut butter spread. Just thought how nice it is to grab fresh peanut butter off the bat.

This place is amazing! Upon entering the store for the first time, I was pleasantly overwhelmed by the selection of produce, flowers, meats, desserts, you name it! And ALL organic....Heaven! I love going there to pick up dinner on my way home from work...they have delicious hot food bars and an extensive salad bar...you can also get made-to-order sandwiches, sushi, tacos. There is a juice bar that has a limitless amount of combinations, or if you want something for your sweeter tooth, theres delicious gelatto as well. The employees are super knowledgeable and friendly, too, and really specialize in their departments. You have to check this place out :)

Dont know whats going on with this Whole Foods but its stocking and service are going down. Been shopping at WF all over North America for 20 yrs and we had our worst experience today here. Could not find 4 items that they normally carry. Its also the second time they dont fully stock two makeup brands. Even the employee agrees that the makeup section sucks. Washroom has no soap and only hot water on a 90 degF day. Also the cashier did not bag the cake properly and tip the cream part. The store management really needs to make some improvement soon.

I am a lover of Wholefoods. The quality of the food in general is excellent. This store is my favorite because its huge in comparison to other Wholefoods stores - so they have a lot more choice. I usually make a trip there every week or so to stock up. Staff are great. Time not to visit in my experience would be Sunday early evening - seems everyone has the same idea before the week begins. I am not sure about Saturdays but I expect its busy then too. If you havent been go and see the fresh food counters.

Tons of food for lunches and such. I quite like this Whole Foods. Its so nice to be able get lunch while shopping. They have quite an array of "restaurants" inside of the store. Pizza, Sushi, Coffee & Tea Bar and if Im not mistaken, I even saw a little pub in there where you can get a beer. Amazing! So many cheeses, so many different cuts of delicious looking meat. I will say thought that parking and getting in and out of this place can be a MONSTROUS pain in the ace if you come here at peak hours.

I LOVE this Whole Foods. I have been to most W.F. stores in Southern Calif. and this is as good as it gets. As far as prices go, they have bargains if you look. Example: on Sundays, 2 pizzas for the price of 1 (that works out to $5.50 per pizza!) and these are large and meaty with plenty of cheese. As far as service goes, the employees are friendly and will stop whatever they are doing to assist you. Grocery shopping doesnt get any better than than Whole Foods Tustin.

We bought a steak meat which cost about $24 per pound, not cheap, but the meat was awful!!! We are good cooks, but the fat part was not edible and hard to chew, so we had to throw a 1/3 part of the meat. Ceviche was $15 per pound, but nothing special and tasted blunt, not worth of $15 per pound! Also, their customer services are not great, sometimes terrible. They are so snobbish! Im not liking this place more and more every time I go there. I dont like this place.

Not sure why Irvine never bothers to plan their malls/communities better but good god, yall. Spend a few bucks from all our rent money on some engineers to figure it out. Never experienced a worse parking lot than this one. Also navigating this stores minefield of oblivious/rude shoppers is a real treat so be prepared to stop in the little bar there for a drink mid-grocery-getting. The only bright spots here are the employees, beer selection, and bratwurst.
