10/4/16 Just an update to my last review..... Terry, the manager, saw my review and became super sleuth and found me via social media! She called me and apologized for the issues....not an easy thing to do. She was gracious, apologetic and willing to make it right. I just saw the response from the owner of the store saying the same thing. I am willing to give them a second chance as things happen and I appreciate them following up. Thank you Terry and Kevin. :) I ordered flowers for a friend in Port Jeff. She never received them!!! She did get a cryptic voicemail from them three days after they were supposed to be delivered. She called and got NO response!! She called me, as I am in CT thinking all was delivered, to let me know that she never received anything and the staff was less than helpful when she called. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!? AND I GOT NO CALL FROM THEM TO TELL ME THERE WERE ISSUES. So I called them....ruder than rude and useless associate....told me she had to call me back...never did...I called back and was told that their delivery driver didnt come in that day or something to that effect?!?! WHAT?!?! I requested that a manager or owner call me, which never happened. Oh...and I am still fighting to get my credit card credited!!! So after I finish this comment....my next email and calls will be to the BBB in Port Jeff, the Chamber of Commerce in Port Jeff, and my attorney. Needless to say.....I couldnt be more unhappy with this florist and would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Go elsewhere!!!!!

My family has been using James Cress Florist (East location) since I was a child. One of my fondest memories was my 16th bday- my dad had them send me bouquets every hour while I was at work. They were so beautiful & unique. Now, over 3 decades later & 2 moves out of New York State (VT & now MN) I feel confident in knowing they are my only choice for flowers I send to my family & friends who are all still living on the beautiful Long Island North Shore. Thank You for still being an awesome local & reliable business.

Third time Ive tried them. They are the local florists and I like to shop local but they are not worth it. Always get a bouquet for my wife and theirs are the worst. First, you can better and more flowers at stop and shop or shoprite. Second, i bought a bouquet on Friday at 5 pm with a bunch of them already dead and falling apart Sunday morning. I dont normally write comments but want to help others save their money cause this place stinks.

HORRIBLE SERVICE RUINED A SPECIAL DAY I ORDERED A HUGE BOUQUET OF DAISIES, THEY SUPPLEMENTED WITH UGLY WHITE MUMS WITHOUT ASKING MY DAUGHTER HATES MUMS THEN THEY LIED AND SAID THEY WOOULD DELIVER THE DAISIES THE NEXT DAY AND NEVER DID!!!! HORRIBLE BUSINESS MY DAUGHTER WAS LOOKING FOR A FLORIST FOR HER WEDDING, GOOD THING I HAD THIS EXPERIENCE, THEY CANT GET ONE ORDER RIGHT, WHOS TO SAY THEY WOULD RUIN A LARGE ORDER STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

They are wonderful. Great work. Lovely people. Called on them to make a bouquet for my wife and they went out of their way to get it done on the spot. I was very impressed. They are my "go to" florist.
