NO STARS!!!! Friend called in last week to place an order and nothing was priced out for her at the time. Today, she called to check price and the woman asked if it was two or three flowers. Friend said she did not know and was not asked when she ordered it, worker priced out both but said depending on the order and how many flowers its more expensive so bring in $XX (which was the more expensive amount with the most flowers). When friend asked to look up order, she was very nasty and stated she was busy and cannot look up her order. I called myself to check on the same order, same woman picked up and she said I needed to hold on, was on hold for 5 minutes until I was disconnected. Called again, was put on hold for another 5 minutes then another worker (a lot nicer than the woman) asked if this was for next week, let him know we needed the order in two days. He told us that it was the more expensive flowers we ordered, let him know that we were not asked the amount of flowers and we asked for the smaller order. He changed order for us. Whatever system they have going on needs to change, and possibly a change of attitude.

Tried to order 2 floral arrangements for funeral. Explained that as I was on lirr I might not be able to get there before 6pm closing. Might be 5 minutes late. Was told the entire staff was exhausted from all the St Valentines day orders they had been taking. Was told to come in following day at 9am but they couldnt deliver till the next day. Guess $500 order was not enough for them to take care of long time custumer. They also discouraged phone order as it would probably take up to half an hour and they might not have the flowers anyway. (WHAT!!!) and the order would have to be cancelled and redone. Did find florist with exactly the floral arrangements that I wanted. Guaranteed delivery. Will never use this florist again. Will let everyone I know of my experience with this florist.

Awful customer service. Flowers not delivered. Do not use this florist if you value customer service and expect your flower order to be delivered to its recipient. I placed an order online on a Saturday for flowers to be delivered the next day during published business hours. The flowers were never delivered. The excuse I was given (apparently left in a voice mail which I never received) was that they do not deliver on Sundays (why I cant imagine when theyre open for business, which is why I placed the order with them in the first place) and therefore they needed permission to deliver on another day. When I called to learn why my flowers hadn’t been delivered, I was told that the order was never processed for this reason. I highly recommend going elsewhere with your flower business.

Charged my card and didnt deliver my friends flowers for the scheduled date of 2/18. When I called on 2/22, the woman that owns the shop was rude and said she would just refund my card. She didnt apologize or offer to deliver the flowers. I waited 1 week for the refund and the money was never put back on my card. I called my bank to challenge the debit charge; will get my money back within 90 days through bank complaint. On 3/3 I received an email from the shop saying the flowers were delivered!! Must be because the flower shop received notice from my bank that the charge is being challenged. Will never do business with Selden Florist again.

I ordered flowers to be delivered on Thursday 9/1/16 online. They were supposed to be delivered same day and never were. When I called on Saturday 9/3 to follow up the woman who answered the phone was extremely rude. She told me the flowers were delivered this morning "happy birthday Celeste" and gave me the address. I told her that wasnt my order. She then told me she was too busy to deal with this and would have the owner look into it on Tuesday. I asked her is she needed my information and she started yelling at me cursed and hung up. Is this for real? Of course my card was charged.

I live on the other side of the country but my home and my hear are in long Island right alone with my mother. Since I left N.Y. Ive had occasions to send my mom flowers. Usually I use one of the 800 quick service deliveries. This time I used Selden florist just to change things up. Not only was it HALF the price but my mom was so pleased shes still singing praises almost two weeks later. She also says the florist choice bouquet was so robust she was able to speed the flowers into two vases. They have my Long Island business from here on.

Absolutely terrible. I specifically told them my wifes favorite color was pink. Asked for pink daisies and pink roses in a pink arrangement. There were neither. When I called they told me that I didnt mention that and gave me a nasty attitude. I used to work with flowers and have a good knowledge of what I wanted. Never buy flowers from these people they absolutely SUCK. I would give no stars if I could. Take your money elsewhere because these people dont know what their doing or they just dont care about customers.

Purchased arrangements from here twice (Mothers Day and a Birthday) and was disappointed both times. Do not expect the arrangement to look anything like the pictures on their website but do expect to pay out of the nose. The "Lovely Lavender" looked nothing like the picture representing it and was mostly green with 5 purple roses. Would not recommend this place and will not be returning.

Denise was absolutely wonderful! She made a beautiful bouquet of yellow daisies, spider mums, sunflower and babys breath. The flowers were delivered promptly to my friend at SUNY Stony Brook. She loved them! The price for the bouquet was reasonable. It was an Online order, with one or two telephone calls-very good experience. Will be a repeat customer.

I called late in the day after the delivery person had finished for the day. The owner personally delivered the roses to my girlfriends business on her way home. A beautiful bouquet of red roses with babies breath. She was extremely friendly over the phone also. She saved the day and I wish more businesses were run like that.

My order was not delivered on Valentines Day. When I called I was told it was not their fault because someone quit dats before. Never even called me to let me know that there may be an issue. Do not use this florist there are much more dependable options. Port Jefferson florist is a much better florist and dependable

I was a NYC girl. I moved to Houston, Texas. My brother and his family live in Selden. I spoke with Carrie who provided outstanding customer service. My order was a flower arrangement with balloons for my God daughters 21st Birthday. I went with Carries recommendations. It was spectacular!!! Thank you Miss Carrie.

I ordered flowers online and my credit card was charged. Unfortunately, the flowers were never delivered. The woman I spoke to on the phone didnt seem to care that this happened or want to do anything to fix it. I had my card refunded and ordered from someone else. I will never use Selden Florist again.
