This Ralphs is the grocery store I shop at the most. I know my way around the store and my shopping is a breeze. The store is clean and organized. However, it is inconvenient as far where clearance items are located. Items are placed on shelves located by the restroom, it is a narrow space that often becomes congested. It is also unappealing and unsanitary to have grocery items close to restrooms. In addition, based on where I live, this Ralphs is the nearest supermarket and the price of grocery and household items are higher than the the Ralphs on Moorpark Rd. The store can charge higher prices, because there are no major supermarkets in close vicinity. Finally, I frequently use self-check, because I can often avoid standing in a long checkout line.

Every time Ive been in this store (which is often because I work near) I have had a bad experience. The checkout associates are nice and courteous, but always seem to be rushing me out of the line whether theres someone behind me or not. The Deli section is the worst of all. The majority of the people are inexperienced and rude. I asked one of the ladies making my sandwich what one of the types of bread were and her response was, "I have no idea". When I reiterated, she said, "No, I dont know". I had to ask her to ask someone who does know. This store is also very overpriced in my opinion. Youd think I would have learned my lesson by now. If you have the option- Go to Vintage Grocers or Sprouts instead.

A Private User

Its impossible to find any help here. I dont know if you know this but after 8 pm you have to use self checkout and the system never works. Ralphs dont know it, but I can get the same grocerys at another store around the block, so I stopped going here. By the way the people who work there are horrible too, I counted it took me over 20 minutes in line to buy a diet coke!

The Ralph in Westlake Village is a friendly store with a great staff they have a really nice Deli and the salad bar you could also get hot food to go and sushi the produce department has a great selection Skippy is one of my favorite cashiers he is great thats why I keep coming back for 20 years now

Ralphs, Vons. Vons, Ralphs. Ralphs IMHO edges out Vons in produce (love their apples for juicing) and deli. Everything else is equal. I am a member of both.

Expired cakes, "wooden" bagels, forks instead of spoons near the soups, cold coffee, no lunch tables inside or outside to have a bite, etc.
