I was here when it was originally Hughes. Wow I am definitely an old geezer. This place brings back so much memories, especially during the Northridge quake. I had remember when it was Hughes and the lights were off, we were literally shopping in the dark with some light coming from the windows. It definitely seemed like a zombie movie. Though zombie movies werent popular in that day and age. My family has been living off from this Ralphs for many years. It was until 2002, when we moved to Porter Ranch, we had to say goodbye to a ton of history. The staff that had worked there were family to us. Around the 2000s, the original staff of hughes had moved on to Ralphs in Granada Hills. A couple days ago, we were in the area and stopped by the old place. This is now a Ralphs, and much has changed in the store. The layout is still a bit the same. As I walked in the store, i felt like a little kid again. Walking into the store, being greeted by the cashiers mom had known. Of course Hughes, all the cashiers had worn blue aprons. It was just a great place to shop. It still is even with the new staff and the new decor. I love this place.

I love this Ralphs location because Roy, Shant, Norman, Efrain, and Spencer are ALWAYS, literally ALWAYS, so friendly with my family. I learned how to pick THE BEST pineapple because of Efrains guidance. During my pregnancy Roy ensured that an employee was available to empty my cart onto the conveyor belt, then has another employee load my car for me. Shant is always willing to check for additional stock if we cant find our preferred items on the shelves. Seriously, we always leave THIS Ralphs location with a smile. Weve been patrons of this location since March 2014 and we live walking distance to "other" named stores and a shorter drive distance to alternate Ralphs locations. Still.........we drive the distance to come to THIS location because the customer service is to notch.

This place was obviously an up-scale market in a nice neighborhood. Im not from the area. I ran in to buy my sister some fruit. The fruit was really expensive just like everywhere else. Several employees were available to help. I was given a Ralphs Card discount with an application in hand.

I only shop here for convience. Its selection on everything is fairly small compared to other Ralphs. The employees are not helpful or friendly. Theyre actually pretty strange. Theres a reason why my family and I refer to this place as Freak Show Ralphs.

Bathrooms were locked and one employee saw my distress and said nothing. Mentioned my distress to cashier and was not offered the code to the bathrooms. Bagger Padmini walked off with my alcohol purchase and I had to chase her down to get it back.

Great people, great prices, great stuff! Fresh produce and lots organics, if youre into that sort of thing. LOTS of beer to choose from and amazing prices on spirits. Very clean, and has a real down-to-earth neighborhood vibe.

This store is usually clean but very small and cramped and as you would expect from a smaller store, the selection of brands falls a bit short . The food quality seems to be okay but I have never gotten meat or fish from here.

Been going to this Ralphs for some time. They have fresh ingredients at the deli and the sandwiches are good. The salad bar is always full and with fresh ingredients. Place looks better since the redecor took place.

Community store - Hughes store for decades. favorite store for forty+ years. Recently remodeled and enlarged. Staff very helpful. However, few vegan selections, and many prices moderately high. Good parking.

This location allow for quick purchases and quick payment. They usually have a good number of cashiers open at any given time. Clean store and always well stocked. Totally fast and friendly service.

WOW! They really cleaned up the store. All of the help were very friendly and helpful. I love their cooked food section and deli bar. I enjoy shopping at this store.

Close by, convenient. They have most of the typical food you need. If you need more specific ingredients, a larger "fresh fare" store is the place to shop.
