Brides....or anyone looking for the experience of a lifetime...look no further! Eltingville Florist was the BEST decision we made for our wedding. My wedding was just this past Saturday, November 21st, and it was truly the best night of our lives, thanks to the smart decisions we made about our vendors---mostly about working with Eltingville!!! I first heard about Eltingville Florist from a close relative of mine. I had seen their work on Facebook, instagram, and Google, and was very impressed. But, it wasnt until I went to the store that I knew these people were going to do my wedding flowers! My family and I felt the love from Steven & George the minute we stepped foot into the establishment. They were genuine, they listened, and they WOWed us with their creative ideas. George even pulled together a quick , but GORGEOUS, sample of a color scheme on the spot, in a matter of seconds, to help me narrow down some choices. They are truly amazing and so very talented. When it came time to wedding planning, my husband and I knew we wanted ours to be unique. We wanted every detail of our wedding to tell OUR story...to be personal. We knew how important it was to pick a florist that set the ambiance we were looking for at our wedding. Steven, George, and the rest of the team at Eltingville Florist exceeded our expectations. Even my husband, who could care less about flowers (lol), was completely in awe when he walked into the church and venue on our wedding day. He couldnt believe that they were able to do that kind of job in the time that they did! His words at the altar-- "This is insane...they are unreal!" :) Prior to our big day, the staff at Eltingville was the most helpful of all the people we worked with to make our special day happen. Jackie and I spoke often, as she confirmed all the details, helped me make sure I didnt forget anything, and even provided some advice when I was having a hard time deciding on certain things. George worked with us extensively, listened to our vision of our big day, and provided his expertise to make our ideas even more spectacular. I loved working with him! Steven is a creative genius! He takes everyones ideas and brings it to a completely different level. You will never find another individual as genuine and as fair as Steven in this business! He keeps his promises and does not go back on his word. He promised my mom and I that the flowers would be exactly how I wanted them....and they EXCEEDED my husband and Is expectations. Everyone is STILL talking about the flowers at the church and the venue! I remember having to remind myself to breathe when I stepped onto the aisle with my dad and saw the gorgeous fresh flowers that lined the pews. I was certain we did not pay these people enough! These flowers and the mood they set were absolutely priceless. I cannot thank Steven, George, Jose, Billy and the team enough for all the hard work they put into making this the wedding of our dreams! I love you all so much and cant wait for another joyous occasion when I can work with you again! THANK YOU!!!

There are no words that can describe how BEAUTIFUL the work of Eltingville Florist is. When I was planning my wedding, I went to Steve knowing the amazing work he and his staff produce having worked with them before. I am in no way shape or form a flower person, and I had NO idea what to do as far as centerpieces, bouquets, etc. He showed me a book of different arrangements and I gave him an idea of what I liked and didnt like. At that point I turned the entire thing over to him. All I told him was that the guys are wearing red, the girls are black and white and I would like them to have red flowers to accent the vest - as far as what flowers how it looks, centerpieces, decorations etc. "Do whatever you want to do and feel like creating. Have FUN creating it! Use whatever flowers, designs, etc. you want to use." Thats how much I trusted him and the employees. We of course gave him a budget to work with, and when he called for us to take a look at a sample centerpiece it was GORGEOUS! Everything about it was spectacular and looked way more expensive than the budget we set for him. When he showed up to my house to drop off the boquets, tears literally came to my eyes they, and the flower girl baskets were breath takingly beautiful! Not only is Eltingville Florists work the best on the island, they are also very accommodating and very very helpful and kind. My husband is in the military and we had to change our wedding date from July 2010 to April 2010. From the time we switched the wedding date, we had 4 weeks to prepare for the big day. Steve, calmed my nerves and assured me that all will be ok and that everything will be as planned. He was also able to order flowers and plan for decorating a gazebo and ceremony (being that we originally were supposed to get married in a church where there wasnt a need for ceremony flowers- and the we now had to get married at the reception hall). Again I told him whatever he wanted to do, however he wanted to decorate was totally in his hands. Everything was gorgeous, and my guests never stopped complimenting how elegant and gorgeous the flowers were in the hall, and the staff at the reception hall couldnt stop complimenting how amazing the gazebo looked! And as far as flowers lasting....my bridal boquet was still red and blooming and beautiful as ever, more than 3 days AFTER the wedding. I would reccomend Eltingville Florist to everyone! I am definately a customer for life!

Spearheading family events, birthday and anniversary bashes - more so a parents 60th wedding anniversary - can be downright exciting and inspiring, and at the same time nerve-wracking and time-consuming. Many THANKS to Steve as well as Zdena and Jose (Eltingville Florist owner and staff, respectively) for turning our floral-centerpiece-shopping ordeal into a rather awesome experience. On 3/27/17, as per the recommendation of the venues owner, we hurriedly drove to the Eltingville Florist trying to beat the business closing time. Upon arrival, we informed the staff, specifically Zdena, of our floral needs, event theme and a budget to work with. Despite her obvious busyness, Zdena patiently showed us the various types of flowers befitting both the occasion and our price range. She bustled around the store creating a sample centerpiece on the spot while assuring us that all the centerpieces would look beautiful. We also were fortunate to have met another helpful staff, Jose, as well as the very pleasant owner Steve who even congratulated our parents and then handed our mom a single white rose. On 4/22/17, the day of celebration, everyone was blown away! The venue was decorated beautifully with floral arrangements, particularly the one on the dais. Asked to convey a "white diamond" theme throughout the floral creations, Zdena attended to every detail and did it diligently, flawlessly, and spectacularly! Once again, a shout-out to Eltingville Florist for their commendable service, fresh and gorgeous flowers at an unbeatable price... and most importantly, for helping make our parents 60th wedding anniversary a very wonderful once-in-a-lifetime event for them and a memorable experience for the rest of us.
