On my way from NYC to Pittsburgh, I hit a giant pothole on I-81, about an hour east of Mechanicsburg, PA. The only upside to the whole incident was having been towed to Sun Motor Cars BMW for the repair. I was so lucky that they were the nearest dealership. Coming from NY, I bought my BMW elsewhere, and prior to this, had never even heard of Sun Motor. Well, they treated me as if I were a regular customer. Right from the evening my car was dropped off there by the towing service, to the next day when I picked it up, I received great service. Stephanie kept me informed throughout the day. It ended up that my run flat tires were not in stock, but they had them delivered from Philadelphia, and they were on my car by late in the afternoon. (I was given the choice to have lesser quality tires that were in stock put on immediately, but I chose to get the Pirellis, hence the wait.) They provided me with a loaner car for the day, so I wasnt held prisoner there with my two dogs I was traveling with. When I picked my car up, it had been repaired and washed, in addition to other minor service issues that I was due for, like an oil change and windshield wiper fluid added (all under warranty, except for the tires, of course). If I lived in the area, or anywhere in Pennsylvania for that matter, I would buy my next car here. Thank you Sun Motor, and especially Stephanie, who made the whole process completely painless.

After two of weeks of looking in vain for something that fit the bill in the DC/NoVa/MD area, and contending with the class of dealerships in that area, I returned to Sun Motor 10 years after first buying a car there. Theyve expanded tremendously since then, but the man who sold me that car back then was there today, along with another rep whod come on board since. Bought a gently-used BMW, in a professional, friendly, and slime-free atmosphere; an experience pretty much like the one youd encounter in a dealership in Germany. Im excited about the car, and the price was fair for both me and the dealership (theyre not a charitable org, after all). Good coffee, in an actual mug, too. Its the little things… Re. the service component: a family member who lives in the area brings her MINI here for service. Shes consistently happy and, when her now 12-year old Cooper S is in the shop overnight or longer, shes given a very nice BMW loaner, every time. Nothing that the service garage has ever worked on, has required a return visit. Lengthy review, but felt compelled, in part as a response to one of the early reviews which spouted the nonsense of not trusting this business to look after your treasured BMW. Best dealership Ive been to, here in the US.

Took my 2000 528i in for service and they diagnosed a list of problems. I initially agreed to fix certain items on that list and had them write a work order which was handled by Ed Beleck. I called Ed the next morning saying I wanted the list changed and wanted less work done than originally planned. He understood and said it would be taken care of and only the work we discussed over the phone would be done. When I picked up the car it seems that they did what work they wanted to, as the items we discussed over the phone were done plus certain items of my original work order that I told Ed not to do over the phone but not all of the items on the original work order. The additional items I did not want done cost close to $600. I picked up the car after hours so could not confront Ed at that time. When I called him the next morning, it became an argument of "I said, he said" and I did not get any satisfaction. Bottom line, make sure you have in writing what items you want done. Joe Peko

Sun motors makes the whole car experience easy. From their low pressure sales approach to their vehicle servicing, Sun has got you covered. Recently, we had the privilege to work with Bob Burkholder. Bob is a Bimmer enthusiast and has a wealth of knowledge about vehicles, this makes him one of the best to work with. Once having settled on a vehicle, Bob set out to locate it for us. In a short time, the vehicle arrived at Sun Motors and was ready for delivery to us. Bob walked us through the vehicle, showing us all the new technology and how to operate it. However, Bob was not done yet. He followed up with us to see if there were any questions or concerns that he could help with. We have a specific Service Tech lead for our car that keeps track of the vehicle history and the servicing needs. This Service Tech is also a BMW enthusiast with plenty of experience and knowledge to keep my vehicle on the road and safe to drive. Cheers to Sun for a well rounded experience!

If a first class experience for buying a BMW is what you are looking for, look no further than Sun BMW. During the sales process, the sales and management team at Sun BMW couldnt be more helpful. They provide a great wealth of information without being overbearing or pushy. They are genuinely concerned over your comfort with the sales process and will take the time to explain anything that you find unclear. They value their customers, a sale is not a one time endeavor at Sun, they are looking to establish a long-standing relationship for years to come! After the sale, the service experience upholds that same level of excellence. Scheduling is a snap, they will pick your car up at your work, leave you a loaner (always available), and return your car to you when the work is complete, washed and vacuumed. The service department is efficient, professional, and friendly. Cant say enough about Sun BMW, I will a loyal customer for life!

Took my car to the collision center after being rear ended during accident. The body shop manager told me that the rear frame rails were damaged and that they had dents. I asked why it was not going to be replaced and was told that it did not need to be. When asked how the dents were going to be removed told they would pull out as far as possible any remaining damage would be covered with body filler. FRAME DAMAGE COVERED BY BODY FILLER!!!! Had car removed and repaired at another BMW dealership with the frame rails replaced. Sun was going to fix my BMW not using approved BMW repairs placing myself and family members at risk if the car was in another accident. BMW would not do anything as they were caught in the middle. Similar issues with repairs under warranty never able to fix anything right the first time. SUN is a disgrace to the BMW name. Want your BMW to last take it someplace else as SUN will screw it up.

Where should I start? So far I have purchased 4 cars off Peter K, and he has been the best sales advisor Ive dealt with. I had previously purchased a BMW from my local dealer and the experience was horrible. Peter and Sun Motors have changed that! He puts up with my craziness and indecisiveness, and takes it with stride. They helped me get out of my current car and into my dream car (BMW X5 and soon to be i8 once it arrives from Germany). The i8 was last minute decision and Pete had no issues insuring the car would be mine. Also ordering a 2017 X5 from there when they are released. Jake the sales manager is awesome too, he is willing to go the extra mile for the customer along with Pete! The whole staff is great, at Sun! Oh and I forgot to mention the BMW geniuses, they really do know everything about the cars! Looking forward to a long ongoing relationship with Sun Motors and Peter!
