After reading this non-biased summary of whats happened with my deal since the time of purchase, make your own decision on whether or not you feel comfortable with working with this dealership. - New Kia purchased on 5/9/15. Traded in my vehicle that was financed through another company for the purchase. Before signing new paperwork I asked the finance manager if the deal for the new loan was definitely approved since I had added on some extra coverages after the initial approval and he said it shouldnt be a problem. All paperwork is signed for deal. - Return on 5/11 with the 2nd title to my previous vehicle since it was registered in Maryland (previous lienholder has copu #1) and the remainder of the documentation required for the new loan. - Starting 5/14 (approximately), I get calls 3x/day from the previous lienholder that my payment hasnt been received. Call the dealer and leave message with sales manager and title/payoff lady to call me back to confirm the status of the payoff of my trade in. No call returned. Payment for previous lienholder for May was due 5/10/15. - On 5/29 I receive a letter from new lienholder (now 3 weeks after car purchase) saying they werent financing the Kia. Call Kia and was told by finance that subsequent talks had been held and that theyd had to drop some of my additional coverages in order for the deal to remain. Was told I had to come back in and sign all new paperwork for the new Kia to reflect the changed coverages. Previous lienholder still calling me 3x/daily. - New paperwork is signed for revised Kia loan on 6/7 because I couldnt get into the dealership any earlier than that due to work hours/illness/family obligations. Was told everything is fine and that if contract wasnt approved by new lienholder by 6/11, Id make first payment (due 6/23) to the dealership on behalf of the car while the paperwork was processed. Was not informed anything about previous vehicle not being paid off. Meanwhile, previous lienholder continues to call me 3x a day about payment. - On 6/11, I emailed finance/GM/president to let them know that I had received the approval letter from the new lienholder and that I needed them to get in touch with the previous lienholder to let them know about the status of my payoff. No response. - On 6/12, previous lienholder escalates my non-payment to repo status and informs me now that I am two payments behind on the vehicle (payment for 5.10.15 and 6.10.15 are owed + late fees) so theyre going to repo the vehicle on 6/22 if vehicle hasnt been paid off by Kia. - Immediately called Kia after phonecall from previous lienholder to talk to the titling person to find out about payoff and to let her know repo order. I am nastily informed she is calling no one about the issue because she is not allowed to. She says she will be calling to get the updated payoff amount this morning after hounding the finance guy the whole time, getting a check overnighted to them and it should be hitting my Ford account by Monday morning. She tells me that she had just gotten the paperwork yesterday evening for the new loan saying it had finally been secured with funding and that they dont make any payoffs until new financing had been obtained. I told her I understood that, but that I had left numerous messages for her and sent emails to finance and the GM over the past month to let me know what was going on and I never responded to by anyone. She said she would have finance/GM call Ford to let them know that check was being sent and to update the account. I told her that I wanted her to also leave a note with the message that I wanted a confirmation email sent to me after it was done. She sounded doubtful that it would happen. I have one trip left to this dealership and that is to pick up my new tags when they come in.

My boyfriend and I just bought a car here a couple weeks ago, and we will NEVER go back to this dealership. The car buying process was quick and easy, our car sales man Barry Flowers was absolutely wonderful. But the problems started after we purchased the car. When we purchased the car it was not ready to leave the lot (had a broken wheel baring and was not detailed) so they told us we could not take it home that day, but by the next evening it would be ready. The following day I received a call at 4pm stating that they "didnt have the right tool to remove the wheel baring" so they had to order it and wait for it to be delivered and the car would be ready on that following monday and they would keep in contact with us. That was fine, we were understand. But when Monday came along, we were waiting for a call that never came. We ended up having to call them ourselves and ask them what was going on with the car. They stated that they have not received the part yet, that it should be here and the car would be ready on Tuesday. Well Tuesday comes along and yet again no phone call. I called that afternoon to be told that "oh, I thought someone called you already. The part came in but it was the wrong part so it wont be ready until Thursday." And FINALLY on that day they offered us a rental car. Thursday comes along and the car STILL is not ready and we STILL did not receive a phone call. Finally Friday comes along and we get a call telling us the car is ready. I asked then on the phone if the car was detailed also and they told me yes. So we go down to the car lot to get pulled aside and told that the car is in fact NOT detailed and we need to come in the following Tuesday and get it detailed. (Mind you we paid an extra $500 when we purchased the car for a package from them specifically for the detailing) then we are told to wait in the lobby for them to put gas in the car real quick. Im sorry but if you have my car for over a week, there is no excuse for it not to be detailed. AN HOUR goes by and finally we see them driving the car to get gas in it. After they were finally back with the car , I go and look that it and it only has half a tank of gas. Thats when I was told that "used cars only get a half a tank" yet when I brought the car it had a full tank of gas. Obviously they siphoned the gas out of it because the miles didnt add up with a full tank of gas being gone. This is a very unprofessional place, most of the staff is very rude and obviously dont know how to communicate with anyone. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

I recently was in contact with Kia of Waldorf via Kerry Lennon, their Business Development Agent. She quoted my friend a very good price for a Kia Forte and very explicitly informed us that this price did not include military or college grad incentives. She was very clear that this was the out-the-door price of the car, so we decided to drive over an hour away to Waldorf, MD to buy the car. Before we left the house that day, we spoke with someone named Harry at the dealership as well as a sales woman named Morgan Traudt. Both Harry and Morgan very clearly confirmed that the price we had been given was the out-the-door price that we would pay when we arrived and that there were no military or college grad incentives applied to the price. After arriving at the dealership and test driving the car, Morgan made us wait an hour without telling us what she was doing only to bring over a manager who informed us that the price that we had three times confirmed was not doable (because it certainly had military and college grad incentives applied to it) and they had no idea why Kerry would promise us this price (even though Morgan, too, had confirmed the price on the phone). The manager then tried to raise the price of the car by over $700. So, in total, I drove round trip over 2.5 hours and spent over 1.5 hours at the dealership only to discover that Kia of Waldorf is a shady dealership. I recommend not driving from the city to Waldorf for a price that youve been quoted.
