The Bill Jacobs BMW Sales and Service departments are run like a finely-oiled machine. We just purchased our third BMW through their dealership since 2013; and the entire experience was just amazing! We selected a 2016 BMW X1, which is a remarkable piece of engineering and ingenuity; in combination with great design aesthetics; a good blend of performance and efficiency; and an impressive display of true craftsmanship and high-quality materials, both inside and out. And you wont find a better value, anywhere...guaranteed! Special mention should go to Kevin Jacobs, in particular, and his remarkable team; who worked seamlessly throughout every aspect of our experience. Kevins direct involvement was crucial; and he was a critical-link throughout every step of the sales process. His high levels of inexhaustible energy, professionalism, courtesy, and politeness, as well as his commitment to client satisfaction and excellence (in tandem with a very sound work ethic), proved invaluable. And, he was truly indispensable to us based on his continual oversight of their "internal mechanism" and the whole endeavor. Also, it should be noted that we received a very fair and equitable value for our two trades. Additionally, the new car we purchased was steeply discounted for year-end, based on a joint-effort and continued cooperation between the dealer and the manufacturer; in consideration of the various incentives and discounts that were being offered, and applied. Kevin and his Sales and Service teams are deserving of the highest marks, as it pertains to all of our sales transactions, as well as the ongoing servicing for all of our vehicles. Moreover, although vast in size, and scope, the entire Bill Jacobs operation proves to be diligent in all of its duties. The facility is filled with panache, and theyre a real class-act; making them an organization that would be very hard to emulate, or follow. And, their team will make sure you feel as if youre a very important piece of a puzzle that applies towards the overall success of their business; and creating the sense that youre a very-much-liked, greatly-appreciated and well-respected member of the Bill Jacobs family. Finally, we were extremely pleased with all of our purchases. And, we look forward to many journeys in our brand new ride. This new mode of transportation for us is also a technological marvel! Bill Jacobs BMW in Naperville is just fantastic. They have a state of the art showroom, with an excellent service department, and of course all the amenities of a top notch luxury car dealership. They have snacks (tasty ones) for customers and sales prospects, multiple soft drinks, tea, sparkling water, and an excellent coffee machine making decadent types of coffee etc. Everyone smiles at you and says hello when they see you from the porter to the general manager. This dealership was a very well oiled machine humming to a perfect tuning. William (Bill) Earnest is truly by far the best car salesman I have ever met and had the privilege to have assist me in the purchase of a new BMW. As he said to me, "my father said your name is Earnest and you need to add value to your name by earning it through trust and honesty". Bill really did live up to what he said his father taught him. Bill was extremely experienced (more than 13 years from my memory), knowledgeable about each model and its options, transparent & honest, and has integrity beyond compare of any salesperson I have had the privilege to have assist me. I met him on my 3rd and 4th visit to the dealership while my wife and I shopped for our new BMW. I spent extra time with him due to the fact that he offered such great information with regard to sales and leasing options. Despite changing our mind on which vehicle we wanted Bill was polite and helpful in advising us on the features and options on each and every models we asked about. He was a true standout earning my trust with humor, and valuable information within a few minutes. Bill offered candid and thoughtful advice on BMWs current promotions on leasing, financing, as well as telling us about the rebates for each vehicle. He also told us about promotions on certified BMWs as the certified loaner BMWs were really a great deal. Bill was top notch! Thanks so much William! During my multiple visits I met the general manager (who I met on the 1st and 2nd visit who regularly walked downstairs to met and great customers). The sales manager Amir (who is hilarious, honest, and also a no nonsense serious professional when he needs to be), and Hamza (another outstanding BMW sales specialist who was trained by Bill) who also had the same integrity and honesty everyone else showed. Everyone we met with there was just wonderful! The dealer appreciates the patronage and loyalty of their current customers, and all worked to earn my new business with humor, kindness, integrity, and trust. We had owned a X3 previously and had went to other BMW dealers but these gentlemen and ladies do what luxury car dealer strive to achieve and excelled at gaining our business and loyalty. UPDATE: I received a call from the GM Brian and he addressed the issues I mentioned before. I’m reasonable and understand things happen. What’s really important is the issues being resolved. Tomorrow the dealership is actually bringing me the paperwork so I don’t have to go out of my way, and I was told the interest rate was corrected to the advertised interest rate. I will update this again tomorrow assuming everything goes smooth. It’s easy to make a customer happy when there are no issues, but I will admit it turned my attitude around by chatting with Brian and him resolving my issues. Again I’ll update this status and give 4 stars tomorrow when it’s all said and done, but I’m happy with the car and the end result! My last 4 vehicles have been MB, MB, BMW, and BMW. So I tried to do my homework as best as I could and read all the reviews about BJ BMW. My experience has been different than what I read: Bought an X5. Right before they were about to hand me the keys they told me they closed a garage door on it after they cleaned the vehicle. They said there wasn’t any scratches, upon inspection I noticed several. They had to keep the vehicle for 4 days (partly due to it being a weekend) but imagine buying a car and not driving it home that day because the dealer damaged the vehicle. The GM emailed me (probably an automated email) asking how the delivery of the vehicle was. I responded with an email explaining the situation and I never received a phone call or email from the guy. I found that to be in poor taste, especially after knowing there was an issue. The interest rate I signed for (my fault for not double checking) was higher than the advertised BMW interest rate. I even asked them at the sales desk the interest rate advertised was 3.29% (via BJ website) I have excellent credit (812) but they fooled me and I signed and didn’t realize it actually was 4.29%. Stupid on my part yes, but they should be trustworthy based on what I’ve heard. Finally I just got a call that they need me to come back to the dealership to sign some paperwork that they did wrong from two weeks ago. So now I have to go back to sign which is about 30 mins out of my way. Meanwhile the payment due date is the same date and I have no way of paying until the paperwork is fixed AND sent in. They said “give it a few days after you come back to sign, call the bmw finance office and pay over the phone. Explains why I have yet to receive my first bill with account information, etc. Yea I won’t return to BJ BMW or any other BJ dealer and will be sure to steer my friends/coworkers clear as well.
