I caution not to deal with Huggins Honda and their predatory-minded dealership. I want to share my experience from last week. They simply in one word are rude once you get inside the showroom. It is clear theyre unprepared to answer very simple business questions. Case in point: We had a pleasant test drive with a pleasant sales-person for a specific vehicle we had targeted and planned to buy that day. Everything started out well enough. Then it turned ugly quick once we proceeded inside to discuss a deal. Once inside we could instantly feel the tension coming from the showroom and beyond to the sales manager and leader, Greg or Gary Roy (sp?) who reluctantly came out of his office because our sales-person couldnt answer a simple business question, which clearly infuriated the sales manager: "What is the price history (at Huggins) of this specific vehicle-since its arrival on the lot? The sales manager- without even answering our question - both defensively and abrasively pointed out how much they lost on the purchase. We get it and we believe the info to be true; but thats not the answer to the direct question nor is it the buyers problem (we had initially asked for $2k off the asking price). He not only didnt know the basic information or willing to quickly research it but couldnt explain such a simple inquiry. He was not listening. His poor temperament instantly killed the sale -- where the real moment of truth was known. Right then we felt extremely unwelcome and my mind was made up to leave without much more hesitation or discussion. He handled it - as the head sales manager too- about as poorly as possible and cost his salesperson a sale with the behavior and antics. Even though wed have paid the asked amount once it was calmly explained, although not on principle from someone so rude! He barked at me and my fiancee even after we called him out for his temperament. Sales 101: Actively listen and build value (for buyer), & treat people right. Thankfully we didnt spend more than 30 minutes from the time we arrived prepared to buy. We bought the same model vehicle that day in Addison at Auto Web Expo. From observing inside of the Huggins showroom, they seem to thrive on people with financial issue or low credit scores in this place to make their margins. Thats how this business model thrives.

This dealership discriminates. Whatever you do, take your money somewhere else! This is my second time visiting this dealership in the past year (by accident). On my First visit I found the car I wanted online. I called ahead and they said they had the car for me to test drive. I drove out there that day and when I arrived it took them about 30 minutes to "find the car" (i never actually saw it). I was then told the car was dirty and he asked if I could come back in 3 days to see it. He didnt ask me for my number or anything and didnt follow up. He also didnt offer to show me any other vehicles. Last week I spotted another car online. When I arrived at the dealership I realized I had been there before. This time though, I got the same story, but a different rep. First the guy claimed he couldnt find it. 30 minutes later, he had found it but it was dirty and he asked if I could come back in an hour. Again, he didnt ask me for any contact information and didnt offer to show me anything else. Upset, I went to speak to the sales manager who assured me they didnt discriminate based on race, ethnicity, etc. but that he thought it was odd that neither rep offered to show me anything else. He then assigned another guy to "take good care of me". Later that afternoon he sent me a text message with pictures of the now clean car and said that while they were closed the next day for holiday, he would personally bring it to me the next day for a test drive. The next morning I sent him a text at 9 am and asked when we could meet. He wrote me back 2 hours later and said they had already sold the car. Again, with no offer of anything else I might be interested in. On both visits I watched as people came into the dealership looking for vehicles and agents busting their butt to get them into a car and showing them different options. I also find it insanely coincidental that on 2 different visits I would get the same exact story from 2 different agents with no attempt to try to sell me anything else. So either they have the worst sales agents in the world or they simple dont want to sell to ME! This dealership discriminates. Please spend your hard-earned money somewhere else.

Not a bad place. But my warranty is through them since I bought the car from here. Last time when I had it in the shop the window was messed up. It has trouble rolling up so when you roll it down its a trick to get it up and make it stay rolled up. Well I asked them to run try and run it through the warranty, since Ford fixed it a year prior, well when I picked up the car they said oh its covered under Ford now since they fixed it last. Called Ford they said no your warranty should cover it they dont show anything where they fixed it... So now my warranty is almost up and they are now telling me there is nothing they can do the car would have to be here before 10 to even look at a problem like this. I can say I will never buy a car from here ever again. As well as when I got my car they gave me the complementarity vehicle inspection... Said my battery was good. Picked up my car went to work. Got off work car wouldnt start. 2 of the 3 cells were dead. Thats a great inspection. I called they said "oh sometimes batterys just go bad." Overnight ? Really? Then on top of that since it was under warranty I got a rental. Warranty covers it. Well I dropped it off Friday morning. FOR THEM TO NOT LOOK AT IT TILL MONDAY MORNING!! Well they started charging my warranty company Friday, it only covers 4 days. I was charged $70 for them not doing their job. And then I didnt even get a car through them. It was through enterprise. I had to put down a $50 deposit to them. I called them, after dropping of the car at huggins Honda Tuesday, that Saturday and they said they would go ahead and process the deposit to me even tho they havent looked over the car yet. When I asked why they said they hadnt gotten the car till that Friday morning. I told them then they have had your car since Tuesday afternoon. They seemed a little shocked. Huggins Honda had kept their car for 3 addition days. Didnt call them to let them know or anything. If you happen to get a car through enterprise cause they are out be sure to call enterprise to let them know your car is in fact returned to huggins Honda.

My husband and I were placed into a situation where we had to either invest a lot more money into an existing car or go ahead and buy a newer car. With no car payments for many years, it was a difficult decision to step into that "crazy" world of wheeling-an-dealing and dealing with the stereotypical nuance that many used-car sales representative are labeled with. I have to say that I was very nervous that we would get a rude/inattentive/assuming person! We had a VERY short period of time where we could look for cars, pressured with that only made our nerves more hectic. We did some quick researching on what we liked and started out the door to look. We had gone to another dealer before coming to Huggins, liking a car there but still unsure, we drove to Huggins after our daughter mentioned that they were having a end of month sale. When we arrived we were not bombarded by sales representatives, Jackie approached us slowly and calmly. Letting us breath and take in the place and what was available. I have been to places where as soon as I get out of my car I have someone up my a**, at which point I can not take a quick look at what is there. Jackie allowed us to look at what we were interested and not what she wanted us to buy. Jackie caught a couple indicators on where our taste was lying and steered us that way, going out of her way to make our shopping more pleasurable. Jackie was very knowledgeable on car functions and made sure to physically show us how to do a couple of things. When it came time to "finish" the deal, Jackie worked with us on getting a reasonable trade-in and worked to get the price down a little more because of a few minor scratches. I met Yvette Garza and was pleased how smoothly our paperwork went, she explained everything to us in a professional manner. I have to say that this has been the easiest purchase of a car for us! Thanks to Jackie! She went out of her way to accommodate us, she even bought us a bottle of touch-up paint! Now how sweet is that?! Thanks Huggins and Much Aloha to Jackie!
