My bridesmaids and I made an appointment over 1 month in advance to visit the salon to try on bridesmaid dresses. There are 4 bridesmaids that would be trying on dresses, and I provided that information the day I made the appointment. Upon arriving at MK Bridal the day of our appointment we were told that it is "Prom Season" and the usual bridesmaid area is full of prom so we were going to be put in the Bridal area, but that if anyone wanting to try on bridal gowns came in we would have to move. We were immediately put off, but began trying on dresses anyway. A short while later some ladies came in to try on bridal gowns, and all four girls were moved into the SAME dressing room! After coming to terms with sharing a room between four people we were asked a short while later to move across the salon to the bridesmaid area as it was now open. We declined the request. The entire appointment our consultant was nowhere to be found. As the bride I was having to locate dresses for the girls to try, and put away their "Nos" back on the racks. For a store that claims to be "ALL about the bride" they sure put them through a lot of trouble and work. In addition, we were told that there were no clips available to use to to tighten dresses that were too large because they often sell their samples (which have the world "SAMPLE" sewn into the bottom of the gown) and we would just have to "hold up" the dresses to see what they looked like on. At the end of the appointment our consultant miraculously reappeared and asked which dresses we had chosen to purchase. We obviously took our business and money elsewhere. All four girls are soon to be engaged and I can forsure tell you we will NOT be visiting this salon again. I have NEVER been so disappointed by customer service or customer treatment for that matter. We ended up going to Normans Bridal downtown and had a WONDERFUL experience and spent over $900 in their salon on dresses.

First of all, I was very pleased that I was able to be seen the same day I made the appointment to try on bridal gowns. My mother, Maid of Honor and I went into the store, and were awkwardly greeted at the front door. We then went into the bridal gown room, where we looked for a couple of minutes alone, until a consultant came to help us. She was very polite, and asked what we were looking for. She gave a few suggestions, and then started a room for us. The fitting rooms were large, but quite dirty. The dresses, which were discontinued dresses (to be bought off the rack as is) were very dirty, and in terrible shape. Buttons were falling off of one dress, and another had a large tear in the front. When I tried on the dresses that were damaged, it seemed to us that the consultant thought we were the ones to damage them. She was helpful with finding different veils and sashes, but it still felt like she was watching us closely, as if to make sure we wouldnt break anything else. I did find two dresses that were beautiful, however they were both discontinued, and they were filthy and had at least one tear or loose button. They wrote down the style numbers, but did not offer to give us any discounts due to the condition of the dresses, or offer to clean them. When we were finished trying on dresses, the consultant offered to show us different shoe options and bridesmaid dresses, and was very helpful in those departments. I think if the store hadnt been filthy, the dresses had been in better shape or they were more willing to offer the filthy clearance dresses at a discount, I might go back, but there were just too many small things that made the experience unpleasant. On top of that, I would suggest that you bring your own strapless bra, which I unfortunately forgot, because theirs were filthy and smelled terrible.

Karl’s Bridal was UNBELIEVABLE! If this isn’t the first place you go, you can count that it will be the last. The service= the best. The selection=the best. The prices=OUT OF THIS WORLD! I got the most beautiful Midgley and Sottero dress at a fraction of the price (I love their sample sale!). They always seem to be having really good sample sales, and with my dress I got other great deals and discounts on bridesmaid dresses and tuxedos. Karl’s Bridal went above and beyond to help find the perfect dress! I’m not sure how they have had a bad review, unless the concept of a sample sale isn’t understood. The idea that the place is filthy is completely untrue. I’ve been in at least five times in fittings and renting tuxedos. All times I have been in the building it was neat and orderly. Clean and nice smelling. They are well organized and VERY clean. The dresses are gorgeous, and I never tried one on with a blemish (and trust me, I tried on my fair share of dresses). AND THE CONSULTANTS! Oh. my. Abbey Anderson was hands down the best. She was so helpful. I found my dream dress, and spent the weekend pondering it. During that weekend I must have been in contact with Abbey 10 times. All times she was more than willing to help and answer any questions that I had. She was awesome. If you go there, ask for her. You won’t be disappointed. And did I mentioned, although an appointment is recommended, you can also walk in and get great service? 2 thumbs up. Five stars. 10 out of 10. Great job Karl’s!

I wouldnt say I had a bad experience here, but after going to Normans Bridal the customer service was like night and day. My consultant, Leslie, was nice, but she didnt ask me what kind of dresses I was interested in or offer any help picking ones to try on. They didnt have a huge selection of dresses, but I was able to find a few that looked promising. My mom ended up helping me get in and out of the dresses since Leslie seemed kind of distracted and like she didnt want to help. She never asked my budget, and it was hard to find the price tags on some of the dresses, so I ended up trying on a dress I really liked that was significantly over budget. Several dresses I tried on were too big, and they only had weird "shaping pillows" to put in the back of the dress rather than the usual clips, which made it difficult to get an idea of how the dress would really look on me. There was also another group there trying on bridesmaid dresses that kept walking back and forth in front of me, which was a little annoying. If you want a more hands-off consultant this might be the place to go, but I would have appreciated more help.

I had the most awful experience when I came here today. I came in looking for a prom dress which I did see a few that I liked and they were cheap. The lady that gave me my dressing room was extremely rude. She acted as if I wasnt skinny enough or pretty enough to wear the dresses. She was also really pushy, judgemental, and she didnt seem to want my fiance to be in the dressing room with me. That aggravated me, but I didnt protest like I should have. I hate being treated like Im a child just because I am shorter than most girls my age and I appear younger than I am. I will never come back to this store and I will never buy anything from there. Dear Misty I will gladly inform you that me and my fiance are both 18 years of age and that neither of my parents want anything to do with my life. I find it very offensive that you would assume that my parents are a part of my life when they havent been for many years. I also find it very rude that you would assume that we are under aged, typically seniors in high school are 17 to 18 years old.
