Proposals is now under different management than before. I went in when the previous owner was still there and they were so wonderful in my search for a pageant gown. I went in recently for my wedding gown, assuming I would have the same treatment. It is under new management (who I am sure has the best intentions and seem like nice girls). Truly, they had no clue what they were doing. I worked in a bridal shop myself for four years (which is where I ended up ordering my dress from) and brought along my MOH who has been in the bridal business for 5 years. They did have some beautiful gowns but they were not organized and their were dresses kind of just placed anywhere. I ended up falling in love with a dress that was a size 10 (they hardly had any in my size at all). After I had fallen in love with it and the proposal girls were "ooo"ing and "ahh"ing, we noticed their were multiple stains on the dress. We inquired about ordering and they seemed to dance around the subject and then said it would take 18 weeks to get in... without even calling the dress company to check if they had it in stock. I told them that I wouldnt even get to take bridals if I did that and then they told me that I could buy the dress as is but pay to have it altered from a size 10 to a size 2 and then pay to have it professionally cleaned. And IF it couldnt be cleaned, I would have to return in and just find another dress. I left in tears thinking that I wouldnt get the dress of my dreams. Luckily, my connections pulled through for me. By the end of that day, I had the dress in my size (which was in stock with the dress company) that was brand new on order. My dress was at the store I used to work at in FOUR days... not 18 weeks. I would not recommend this store to anyone after they tried to get me to buy a gown that simply just looked used. It is shame considering the old owner had built up such a great store. Maybe these new owners will get a clue that they need to not be cheap and actually buy dresses from vendors and keep a good repore with them, so that when girls like me come in and find the gown of their dreams... they dont leave empty handed for reasons that shouldnt even be. Just simply sad to think that I was not the first one. :(

After reading the negative review for this boutique I was unsure about going to Proposals for my Bridesmaid dresses. I went to David’s Bridal and was not in love with their selection of dresses or pushy Sales people, Alfred Angelo no longer sells Bridesmaid dresses at the Little Rock location, and the other bridal stores in town do not have sample dresses to try on. So, I had no other choice but to set an appointment at Proposals. I AM SO HAPPY I DID!! I loved their selection of dresses, the prices were good and you definitely get what you pay for in quality! I brought all of my Bridesmaids with me and we had the best time trying on all the dresses. The sales woman was wonderful and sweet and never once pushed us to buy anything. All of my bridesmaids agreed they wanted to come back when they need a wedding dress or Bridesmaid dresses. Very cute boutique!! A+++++

My best friend is getting married and we went into proposals just browsing for ideas. They were extremely busy and we did not have an appointment, but they were all super friendly and managed to still help us through the chaos of so many people! We found we loved this store and their customer service above every bridal store in Little Rock and we went to every one of them! I highly recommend you to check them out for prom or weddings!
