I have had horrible luck with this shop! Tess was amazing to work with (the one time I saw her...) I have been in numerous times since and have only seen one employee (who was incredibly rude!) I am a bridesmaid for a wedding in October. All of the bridesmaids from the wedding ordered dresses in January. We called numerous times asking about our dresses and they had no recollection of our order. I drove up in July to see what was going on, and they had the dresses just sitting there. No one called to say "hey, we have them in". When I got there, the dresses were all wrong. They were supposed to be knee length, but were floor length. The employee that had taken our orders when we initially went in blamed it on us for her mistake of writing the wrong dress style number down. We were given a free hem for the mistake. I took my dress in to get hemmed in August, and its almost the end of September and they still havent finished it. I was highly unsatisfied with this location and wish I couldve spoken to the owner to state my case on the communication issues, but she was never in to answer calls or there when I stopped by.

I took a bridesmaid dress to get altered here as I had heard they were good. Before taking my dress in I called for a quote, they told me roughly $40. After dropping my dress off for nearly 4-5 weeks I finally called them because the wedding was fast approaching, only to find my dress had been done for weeks and yet no one called me. I went in for a final fitting and it was STILL too big, and as I showed the alterations lady she told me the dress was supposed to lay that way, which might I add, the side of my bra was showing on both sides of the dress. I ended up taking the dress home that day very unstatisfied and frustrated that it had cost me $90! And still didnt fit. I ended up getting the dress altered by a family friend the day before the wedding. I dont recommend getting alterations done here they were not professional about it nor did they keep their word on the price quote given. Not a happy experience.

I went to get a few simple measurements for my friends wedding. First of all it cost $10 and, okay, whatever, but you can totally do this at home, but thats my bad. The employee was kind, but she didnt measure me correctly and when I asked if I should get my height measured (for a floor length gown) she said I probably didnt need it. She tried to use my measurements to tell me a size and said I landed somewhere in between a 4 and a 10! Well thats quite an array. Well, turns out I did need my height measurement, and I went back in and she quickly measured my height which was nice. When I got home I remeasured and found out she was off on one of my measurements by 2.5 inches! Once I corrected my measurements my size was clear. It was just a bummer to pay $10 and end up doing the work myself really. I guess I would just recommend doing it yourself.

If I could give a zero I would!! Run from this place!!! I bought a dress at 5pm. I called and sent them an email the next morning to ask if I could return it as my mother gave me her wedding dress. They NEVER called or wrote back even after repeated attempts! update.... after a week of calling and emailing I finally got ahold of a person.... she laughed and said "all sales are final" unless you talk to the owner Tess. I asked to talk to Tess and then she said.... Sorry she is always unavailable.... WHAT??? after this treatment I filed a complaint to the better business bureau which by the why, this company is not accredited so they dont have to respond or refund... again... run from this business!!!! I will be telling everyone I can so they dont experience the same treatment as I did...

I have had the most wonderful experience with Weddings by Tess ! Tess & her bridal personnel have been so welcoming, accommodating & helpful since the first day I stepped foot into the store . The dress I chose for my wedding is simply BEAUTIFUL & Tess is stopping at nothing to ensure that it fits me perfectly for my wedding day . Tess is such a caring woman that is very passionate about her job & the brides/family of brides that walk through her door . I highly recommend this bridal shop to everyone and anyone in need of a wedding dress for their wedding . You will not be disappointed ! Thanks for everything, Tess !

Tess has made my wedding dress shopping experience wonderful and took note of all my needs of what I was looking for in a dress. With her years of experience and knowledge she knew exactly how to peice my look together with the perfect dress and a veil I never would have picked out and it was stunning. Tess wears her heart on her sleeve and she is so creative with ideas. I am excited to go back for my alterations in a few months and to find dresses for the rest of my bridal party! What an awful story I just heard from a very good friend of mine Debbie Johnson about this store. Such awful customer service. I will be sure to let friends know to stay away from this place for homecomings, proms and weddings!!!!!! Cant believe someone would ever show such disrespect over a dress for such a special occasion. This dress never left the shop and Tess criticized her for lying. Dont these people understand the emotional connection behind fashion? What a sign of a corrupt small business. Maybe you should rethink your return policy?? I recommend this because I assure word will spread fast.

I went to 9 bridal shop before I went to Tess. No one was as kind, helpful, straightforward, and funny as Tess was. I didnt end up getting my dress from her, but I really wanted to because she was so wonderful! Offered to give me a good discount, and said she could do all of the alterations for a reasonable price (plus she has nearly 40 years of experience!). She exuberantly said several times how much she loves what she does - and it is obvious she does love it! I highly recommend searching for a dress at her store - I dont think you will find better, more genuine customer service anywhere else.

I was hesitant bringing my bridesmaids dress here to get altered but since it only needed to get hemmed I wasnt too concerned. When the big day arrived I put the dress on and noticed halfway through the day a string at the bottom of my dress. That string was my hem coming undone. How does a hem come undone? Very disappointed with the amount of money I paid and received very cheap quality.

Tess is incredible. I am extremely petite so I was intimidated by all the alterations that may have to happen with my wedding dress. She made it so easy and completely transformed a dress that i liked, into a dress that i adored and felt so much like me!!!! Definitely recommend her, she makes a stressful time fun:)
