As a former employee there i must say the management for the drivers (Mike) is very rude and non communicable they are disrespectful. The m.i.t (manager in training) (Joey) is as equally rude, disrespectful, and unable to communicate in an mature manner. In the interview it is described more as a driving job but in reality you are out the truck lifted heavy material more than driving at all. I advise no one to work under these type pic managers because nobody should have to go to work and be disrespected. And fired for asking a question. Its not a driving job more like helping people move out you know lifting, stacking, dealing with the weather inclements, sometimes you can finish your route get back to the store and then they will send you back out because ANOTHER driver left something behind instead of sending the one who left the donation. Just f.y.i dont work for them and of you do dont ask questions and prepare to get negative answers or responses if you do all together its a negative environment to work in. A big thumbs down. The only reason they got one star from me is just so I could write this review.

This is an amazing thrift store. I went to look for books and found all kinds. I bought 2 classic collector books for $2 each. They would have gone for way more than that at an antique/boutique thrift store. I also found some more recent release books in great shape for $1-$3 each. They also have a ton of other things - furniture, housewares, tons of clothes and shoes, a boutique section with more valuable items. But everything is very low priced like an actual thrift store!! Thats pretty hard to find now. Theres a reason this place is always super crowded. Plus, their workers were stocking shelves the whole time I was in there, so Im sure you could go here several times a week and find a completely different selection.

The variety of clothing is great. The prices are okay. The staff could use a few more helping hands as it always seems I am waiting ten minutes to get out the door. A specific staff member should be fired. On several accounts she has basically called me unworthy of shopping at the boutique, I guess due to me shopping around in my pajamas as it was my first day out after giving birth. The carts, isles, and parking spaces could use more room. Most importantly, everything is buy as is, no returns for any reason, THEN HAVE A DRESSING ROOM! I get the job may suck, but if you dont like people maybe you shouldnt be working in customer service.

I went for the first time after hearing great things from friends, and I was not disappointed. It definitely feels like a "thrift store," in that its cramped and a little dingy, but I spent under $30 and walked out with five skirts that I LOVE. Clothes range from $0.99-$10 and at least for womens clothes they have a huge selection; my husband said the mens section was a little underwhelming. My only real complaint is the lack of any kind of dressing room. Im not above trying to things over my clothes in the middle of the aisle, but its really not ideal.

Narrow aisles and items packed together make it hard to navigate and browse. You feel hurried and watched, as the security seems to follow everyone around. We came in with our young daughter and her diaper bag, and we were definitely eyed and followed. I understand thats its Richmond but buy some cameras or something less obnoxious. Checking out is a slow process. The employees are efficient but not friendly at all. There are other thrift stores with much nicer atmospheres. And lower prices... This one is actually expensive!

The employees are nice but incompetent. The management who is a old man seems to purposely hire young women for his own purposes. Since, the staff is 99 percent young women. Ive had male friends apply to work there who was more than qualified and no call back. Its easy to see why. Disgusting! The store is busy, the customers are mostly poor people who sometimes steal, urinate or worse. A small percent are decent and honest. The prices are cheap, parking spots and thats the only good thing about the store. No, thanks.

I purchased a bottle of Lotion there today and when I arrived home the bottle of Lotion was not in my bag. I called the store for more that a hour and got no answer. Wanted to asked f they would hold the Lotion until Monday Morning. Very disappointed that they dont answer the phone at all. I always enjoy shopping at Fantastic Thrift. I would be nice if they would answer the phone.

Not the best selection of clothing in the world, but you will be sure to find something if you look around long enough. I found some really nice dress pants for a few bucks each. The layout isnt exactly inviting; its cramped and dingy-looking. If you are looking for something other than clothes, such as books or appliances, I suggest you go elsewhere.
