I was so excited when I found out they were building a walmart down the road from me. The first time I went was just to browse, and while the store was really nice & clean, they didnt have much of a selection of anything. Maybe this was because it was so new and they were still waiting for stuff to come in? I dont know, but Ive gone there for the last few weeks to do my grocery shopping and while I spend much less on groceries shopping there, I have been really disappointed with everything else. Their produce is terrible. I spend literally 10 minutes just trying to find 1 decent apple. Same problem with baked potatoes, onions, etc. Half the time they dont even have a gallon of skim milk, so I have to buy two 1/2 gallons. The last time I was there, there was 1 regular lane with a lady checking someone out, but her light was off, & 2 Speedy Checkouts or whatever they are called, you know, the ones were you have to have 20 items or less, with their lights on. Well I had well over 20 items so I approached the regular line that had its light shut off and was very rudely scolded by the cashier saying "my lane is closed, you cant come here" and looking away. Now I know when the light is off, it means they are closed, but there were no other regular lanes open and most stores will usually accomodate a customer even if the light is off out of courteousy. Obviously not this place. I wondered up and down in front of the check out lanes for LITERALLY 10 mintues before someone finally came and opened a lane. It was ridiculous. Everytime Ive been there, the staff has been just horrible. Except for the greeters at the door. Theyre always friendly, but I guess thats their job. One time I was there and this lady in front of me dropped a jar of spaghetti sauce which splattered everywhere. And as if the embarrassment of dropping it wasnt enough, management made a HUGE deal out of it, yelling down 10 checkout lanes that a customer had just spilled spaghetti sauce everywhere and they needed maintence to come clean it up. For whatever reason maintence was unavailable so the managers stood around aruging with each other about who had to clean it up. It was horribly unprofessional and I felt just awful for the lady who had dropped it. She tried apologizing for it, and the staff compeltely ignored her and acted as if she had ruined their day. Im not sure Ill be going back unless they fire 90% of their staff and hire new, respectable employees.

Ridiculous line experiences. Last time I was there, the person grabbed and scanned items SLOWLY (oh and when my card didnt work and some big mouth in line said I should use credit and I said I already tried that, the clerk said I didnt as if I dont know what pressing the red button and hitting Credit means...maybe SHE didnt facilitate credit but I did). This time, 1st register had a guy (clerk) writing down directions for some random woman..he didnt rush to wrap it up or acknowledge me...so I tried another line, line 8 had a light on but NO clerk. I settled for line 10. 1 customer ahead who was looking at something to the side of the line..pondering a purchase (clerk was with her). If she wasnt ready she shouldnt have been in line. After about half a minute she was ready. Once she was rang up they still continued with chit chat and questions, clerk pausing from scanning my stuff. The clerk grabbed and scanned slowly. It seems to be their motto. I guess its better than dealing with long lines of most other Walmarts. They do have an extensive inventory and good product quality (expiration dates, produce skin) although they didnt have everything I wanted (Ritz dairyland cheddar baked chips, Luna Blueberry Bliss bar).

Ive been to this store several times and have no complaints other than the checkout lines. The store is clean, its almost always empty and the workers are typical Wal-Mart stock. My sole complaint about this store is the lack of checkout lines. I went there one night with a few items and stood in line for over ten minutes while a group of six employees talked. There were at least three managers in the group and several other employees came and went from their conversation, all while the two checkout lanes were backed up into the clothing area. This store is average altogether. I only prefer this store because it is closer to me.

Awful. I called to check the status of an order I had shipped there since it was supposed to be there 3 days ago and I still hadnt received an email. I kept getting transferred to different areas, each of which rudely informed me that I needed to speak with the person I was just transferred from. One lady yelled at me like it was stupid. Its not my fault yall dont know who does what job and how to do your own. Customer service was awful! When I finally got to speak with someone...20 minutes later...I was told my order wasnt there even though it was 3 days late already. Awful service all around.

As Wal-Marts go, this one is OK...the pharmacy personnel are very nice and helpful, though you have to wait a long time to get served...the selection is good, but they dont keep the shelves stocked well and items that I use are often sold out...its a crap shoot regarding the people in the store...there are a few that are outstanding, but there are also many in the store that make me feel as if Im putting them out or bothering them when I have a question or Im looking for something. The check out lines are ridiculous...they never have enough lines open and it takes forever to get checked out...

Visiting this location is the best experience Ive had with Walmart. Its not a zoo like many other Walmarts throughout the area with the long lines and disrespectful people. Its almost always clean, I have not waited in line long when checking out and the staff are friendly. I wrote off Walmart for a while due to some experiences in North Stafford, but Im glad I visited here on a whim. This is my go-to store even if its out of the way. Ill probably save time in the long run since I wont be in line for an eternity.

The Village Pkwy Walmart in Stafford is the only Wal-Mart I like to shop at! It is clean and never crowded, even on the weekends. I rarely have to wait in line (and if I do, it is usually only 1 person) and usually there are cashiers waiting at the end of the lane to usher you through. Everyone is friendly and competent. Its is definitely the least trashy Wal-Mart (I wouldnt even call it trashy at all). Anytime I go to Warrenton, Manassas, or Central Park, I ask myself "why didnt I just go to MY Wal-Mart??!!".

Always out of things I need and selection is very limited compared to other Wal-Marts in the area. Quality is also poor, got cheeseburgers from freezer section and when I opened the box they were freezer burnt, which means they are not rotating stock properly. I have also found many things on the shelf that are expired! Shoppers beware when buying food items at this store! I have it two starts because MOST, not all, staff is friendly.
